I could not bring myself to watch/read any BS election coverage tonight, so I hand cranked up my Netflix to watch Minions...the little round yellow lozenges who live to serve the biggest baddest evil they can find.

I had not seen it in theaters so it was new to me.

So let me ask, is it just me or is there more then a passing similarity to today's events (Tuesday 6/7/16)?

I compare and contrast Scarlet Overdrive (whom the minions hope to serve) and HRC.

In one case we have someone who revels in her ability to break the "Glass Ceiling" to prove that it is possible for the greatest Super Villain the world has ever known to be a woman. Someone, who from birth has had an overwhelming desire for a crown and who will do anything for her destined "coronation" as supreme ruler. Someone determined to prove that a woman can do anything a man can do, but better, someone who has the means and the ruthlessness to achieve her goals at any cost, to squash the little people who stand in her way, and to subvert centuries old traditions and law to achieve her goals. Someone who is incredibly despicable, yet who relies on her husband for all the tricks in her basket. Her husband, a playboy genius with more tricks up his sleeve then Harry Houdini. A maestro behind the scenes to an otherwise lackluster grade B super-villain.

The other? She's a fictional character in a movie with little yellow people wearing a rocket dress.

In this case, of course, the little yellow minions are all the super delegates who will fall on their swords for their imagined queen.

Green Party here I come...

PS: How sad a statement is it for gender equality when the only way a woman can get a major party nomination is by cheating? My depression/sorrow is so great on so many levels.
