Mayor Pete got exposed

If even Amy effin Klobuchar can get the best of "small town Pete" then he's done.
But it was Bernie that really took him down.

I love the confused look on Biden's face while Bernie was calling him and Pete out.
If this is a good example, then Bernie is ready to take on Trump.

As for who won the debate, the news media has decided that it was Biden.
Here, here, here with Klobuchar coming in second, because Reasons!
Interestingly, Fox News lists the exact same winners/losers as the so-called liberal media and for the exact same reasons. It's almost as if we are being played.

It's amazing how the media just won't stop trying to force-feed us Klobuchar. I'm starting to think that we are all at Gitmo and the media are our torturers, who are going to rectally hydrate us with our daily Klobuchar.

He has no platform. Bernie is on the rise.

"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."

@dervish @dervish
He has a platform - protecting his wealthy donors.
That's a very important platform that most politicians aspire to.

Bernie is on the rise despite everything.
If Pete's campaign starts to collapse, then Bernie is well-placed to take Iowa and New Hampshire.

The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?

I read and moderated every comment on the NYT discussion under Frank Bruni’s byline thus morning. There was a consistent complaint by the subscriber base that Warren was hypocritical, and while that’s a fair point, one rebuttal I saw was that the real problem was the closed door character of the affair. Reminds me of the white noise generators that HER employed - in case anyone had any doubt about Mayo Pete’s true function in this charade...

their noon report today. His person-to-person campaign is designed to bypass the media BS we are treated to daily. I hope it works for the sake of the 99%.

@Lily O Lady I hope Bernie's turnout surprises every pundit the same way it did in the 2016 primaries.

learning that a little bit of honey once in a while, showing a sense of humor, can be far more effective than just the usual heavy grim doses of bitter vinegar.

And I find myself unexpectedly hoping that Klobbachair can use the momentum from this debate to klobber Biden and Boot in the polls. Considering only the moderates in the field, she is showing herself to be a better battler in the arena and would ultimately be more electable than the declining and flawed Biden who would be exposed as a doddering old geezer by Donald, and the lightweight elitist from South Bend who is unlikely to carry any weight with black voters. My preference as of today would be for the final two to be Bernie and Amy.

Joe and Amy are the two easiest candidates for Trump to destroy, except that with the Democratic Party behind him Trump will have much better chances than The Kill Crazy Lovecraftian Horror.
Little said, but Presidential elections are essentially about the future. What will happen, not in the next year or even the next 4 years, but in the next ten or twenty. If the Democrats run anyone but Bernie America might survive a little longer than 4 years, but it is doomed. If the Democrats nominate Bernie only so that they can sabotage him like Corbyn there is a serious liklyhood that the resulting civil dissolution will result in America becoming a fascist dictatorship. (Trump - but if not him Pence after him - will use the 99%'s complaints as a justification) Our sole realistic hope is a Bernie win. But it will not be him, it will be what he creates, who follows in his footsteps. I have already said that if Bernie is not elected his loss will be followed by worldwide misery and death, but if he wins he will be followed by either someone like Tulsi or someone like Buttiegieg or Gavin Newsome. (lightweight prettyboy opportunists)
When Obama quoted FDR's famous line about making him do the right thing he was mocking us - there was no chance that he would ever do the right thing. Bernie will do the right thing, but we have to stand up and demand that he be allowed to succeed and that the right thing becomes an iron clad institution.
A quick note on Andrew Yang - his UBI plan is actually designed to be nothing but a subsidy to capitalism. It will slow the social dissolution, but promote increased consumption, thereby hastening the oncoming ecological collapse.
