The White House Spokesman Hogan Gidley said He could Not Immediately Comment On The Situation.

Disturbing trend as more people are without hope. USA propaganda has made heroes of individual protestors doing the act in countries we would like to see changes in government.
Still yourself, deep water can absorb many disturbances with minimal reaction.

It's difficult to infer the message of this essay
in the absence of any further commentary, but the topic of suicide through the lens of politics distorts a very sensitive subject in a way that belies it's complicated motives.

The message is pretty clear
Another victim of the system has self-enilated. This time in a very public place. Desperation aimed at the ones in power. Had we more hope, caring, mental health services or whatever, the act may have seemed more indecent. As it is, a fitting indication of how we are treated.
Not knowing the full story
I couldn't say with any certainty what led up to this man's suicide. He may have believed the President was to blame in the same way my Father believed his wife was to blame. But as I learn more about the act of suicide, it becomes clear that nothing is ever that clear.

All that can be inferred is that it was political because of where it was done.

The essay and its comments are about one kind of suicide amongst many. We're talking about suicides who immolate themselves because, due to the actions of the power and wealth bearing classes, they have no hope.
They should have found less drastic ways to turn it up, at least in my humble opinion.
