He says he goes into the convenion with the knowledge "that we are very good in arithmetic". He supports the 50 state down ballot strategy (or however you call that). I think it's as open as it was before. He didn't take more than two questions.
He is holding his cards close. No way will he kow tow to Clinton on Tuesday, and I hope the DC residents like the idea of DC getting to be a state with more people than Vermont. And probably a western state or two.

Hey! my dear friends or soon-to-be's, JtC could use the donations to keep this site functioning for those of us who can still see the life preserver or flotsam in the water.
He's going to continue the campaign to build the movement, and that campaign will go to the convention. But he's already transitioning into a post-presidential primary phase, in which it sounds like he's going to try to use what leverage he has to extract concessions from Clinton and the party. He's planning to continue the outside movement as well, which will help him maximize that leverage.
Sounds like a smart play from an outsider-turned-insider to keep up the pressure on the insiders by keeping outsiders engaged.
I am always overwhelmed how complicated and difficult it is to change the democratic party and the system from within. In order to keep the outsiders engaged, I hope he finds a way to help us doing so. It has to happen in real life not on facebook, twitter and blogs. Just don't know how that is done.
Build a third party, if they aren't wise enough to give him the nomination. But don't spend all these months letting me know that you are aware of how corrupt this party is, how they serve the 1% and screw the rest of us, and then ask me to vote for them.
But if he does, I will read it as the pro forma bit of fluff it will undoubtedly be. I see no scenario in which he will go around the country singing Hillary's praises or covering up the issues he's been highlighting for the last year (or 50 years, depending on your framework). He'll doubtless do a little tightrope walking to try to maintain some influence over the Democratic party, to try to bridge the gap between the inside game and the outside game the political movement he's fostered has to play.
I strongly suspect that Bernie will continue to help build the movement, and support candidates that come up in that movement. He pretty much said this today. After all this time maintaining his integrity in Washington, I can't see him throwing it all away to suck up to the Clintons. He knows better than Elizabeth Warren apparently does.
