Good morning....
Everyone surviving the heat wave? We are leaving for the beach house tomorrow. First time this season I will be up there. Anyone have a flat to let in Stockholm? Swedish Environmental Institute posted a Researcher job for my grandson, so it looks like he will be staying. His current flat is up for sale. It is a studio and was great for a short stay. For a longer term stay, one or two bedrooms would be nice. Housing in Stockholm is nuts. The waits and scarcity are beyond belief.

Another day of Spanish lessons for me.
Hanging close to the hotel. The streets here in 'El Centro' are always busy.
The big central market is only 4 blocks down.
Hope everyone has a nice day.

Key jobs that don't pay enough to live in Sonoma County
The number of key jobs is 42. Good grief, list every middle-class position that may exist up until now why not. 42! Didn't even make it to 30: http://www.pressdemocrat.com/business/7083217-181/key-jobs-that-dont-pay
So much for the green job revolution eh? Can't wait for all those new jobs that don't pay enough already. How does one on fixed income survive? They don't, as far as I can tell.
It stinks, that's all I can say. They just held a special election in Santa Rosa, many many homeless living on the streets, to impose some temporary rent control. Money poured in from everywhere, so it lost of course.
...
How much does it cost to pave one mile of highway where you live? Five and a half million per mile here, for the fourteen miles to Coppolla's winery, no farther. Potholes for the poor, why not. Don't say SMART. lol
Cloverdale Depot waiting since 1998... still no service.
