I scribble whatever message, then use the leftmost 'thingy' on the bar above the message space, which takes you to a window asking you to upload your image. Locate your image, upload and 'okay' in the little window that appears to the left.
to put in the URL of the pic, or "Browse". Since I upload from my hard drive I click Browse, then File Browser comes up. File Browser it what takes time to load for me. But give it a couple minutes, you'll finally see "Upload," something I forget, then "Send to Editor" at the top. Then you can proceed. Is that where it's getting frozen? B/c for me that's normal, I just have to be patient. Then I click Upload, Browse, Upload, Send to Editor, make it the size I want, and click OK. Voila!

When I click Insert Image, I get a little box that allows me
