I was bored this afternoon

It was a gloomy wet day, so I decided it was a good day to take the macro lens out and get a few leaf pictures in the yard.

The ash tree that is too close to the house is about 75% changed.

The oak tree is only 10% changed. But the oak tree usually has leaves in December...

15 minutes of shooting, a few minutes editing in Lightroom. Boredom solved...

A strange drive-around day. Maples are peak color, oaks stand green. And with the grey skies, plus a bit of fog, muted color on the hills. I drive toward my hill property and want to stop to take pictures, no camera today. Hot tomorrow, I will take camera and dog for a ramble. She will be delighted.
