"How did the myth of Hillary’s competence come about and why does it remain resilient in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary? Future historians will have a lot to ponder. All that we can say for sure now is that the explanation is emphatically not that she actually is competent."

OMG, what a great article in Counter Punch
I hope one of our more prolific writers will pick this up and do it justice - no offense meant.
My feelings to a tee. I would much rather Trump than Cruz. Cruz is far, far worse and 3x as dangerous. Hillary? OMFG - might as well turn over the keys to the Treasury to every .001% in every country.
Thanks for sharing this.

My feelings exactly...........
If I had to vote for Hillary or Trump, I'm afraid I would have to vote for Trump. Trump may be a Narcissist, but Hillary is a sociopath, with a record of wanting to kill anything that moves. Talk about voting for the lessor or two weevils!
Thanks.
Very interesting article.

Yup. Trump would be better than Cruz for sure.
I've been thinking that if Hillary somehow gets the nomination she will lose to Trump. But if we can get the Senate back and get a few good progressives in the house (Tim Canova), then Trump could be controlled from doing too much damage. Cruz is a dominionist; very dangerous. Lots of good info here about dominionism

This has to be the best line

Someone should dig out her 3:00 am ad that she used against Obama in 2008 and re-purpose it for Sanders.
