GREAT pics SP! A bit squirrely maybe? I recognize that, it is a seed thief! He is caught fat jowelled. A lot of folks grease poles here, maybe veg. oil or somesuch. How high is the jump it is making?
The canna lily's are looking really colorful, Janis.
This strange flightless bird has been hanging around my bird feeder and birdbath recently.

I LOVE your winter pic Janis! Beautiful. Looks cold. We could use some of that now. The Canna are crazy colors as ever... GREAT photos!

It's four layers cold early mornings. By early afternoon the sun is very warming. It won't be long before we're back to rain and more moderate temperatures.
Cheers!

Not sure on this one yet, haven't keyed it out. It is a Gomphid (family) of some sort, maybe a female Leaftail, or a Forceptail. Pale bands yellower than showing in the pic.
This was some kind of Yucca, but I do not know which type.
Hope everyone is well!

@janis b
Yes Janis, they are pillowy soft. Fuzz balls. There were lots of bees on it. It was surprising in that it had no scent whatsoever, so the bees were just there for the pollen.

Maybe this is in a FAQ somewhere, but how does one post these large
size graphics?
Every time I try I'm told there is a two point something Mb limit on file sizes
and I end up only being able to post physically smaller pics with most of the
detail gone...
I am most likely missing something here - appreciate any guidance...
Apologetically, I can’t be of much help technically. I believe you have to put your photos as jpegs, into an image hosting service like flickr - then copy the image address into the box that comes up on c99 when you click on the first icon in the row of icons at the top of your comment section. I continue to use the same simple method I first used on DKos. I upload my images to my Dkos image library, copy ‘image address’ and paste it into the image box (icon) on c99.
Best would be to get instructions from JtC himself. I’m sure we would all enjoy seeing what you chose to post.

Now you have to decide whether
to make the squirrels access easy or acrobatic ; ).
Hi Social
Those squirrel photos are so personable. I can see them as characters for animations as well as in reality. I love your sense of the bizarre.
Thank you, Janis
That sense of the bizarre helps keep me sane in an otherwise insane world.
