For those that may not know, pinnipeds are marine mammals whose limbs are flippers. Seals, Elephant Seals, Sea Lions, and Walrus are all pinnipeds. They live in the ocean, but are able to come on land for long periods of time. Some species have evolved the ability to hold their breath for up to two hours and dive to depths of more than 6,500 feet when looking for food. When on land they tend to congregate in large groups.

Shots 1-5 are Sea Lions and the last shot are Harbor Seals and one confused Western Gull.
