Florida Meet-up Cancelled

Hey, all. Despite some initial interest in the meet-up, turns out we only have three people committed to showing up. Since one of us will be driving 7-8 hours and another of us 5+ hours to get to the meet-up--and I also have a guest from out-of-state that I was going to ditch in order to keep the meet-up--I've decided to cancel for the time being. Hopefully sometime in the future we'll get more people together.
Orlbucfan, I've messaged you--you and I should still make a time to get together after my guest leaves. Please keep in touch and let me know when is good for you.
Gulfgal, I hope to meet you either when you pass through Gainesville or up in one of my favorite parts of the world--western NC.

Disappointing indeed
I hope we can get a group of us together in the future. At the other place, I attended two meetups, one in Florida and one in North Carolina. Both were a lot of fun. It really helps being able to put faces and personalities with people whom we have interacted with here on this site.
I urge folks to try to attend if at all possible any future meetup. You will not be disappointed. They are worth your time and effort.
Thank you so very much for all the hard work you put into trying to make this a reality, CStMS. Perhaps next time things will work out better. I dearly hope so and will make every effort to attend.
