FBI turning over Clinton interview notes to Congress

From The Hill:

Report: Members of Congress to receive notes from Clinton's FBI interview

Two sources told CNN that members of Congress will have access to notes taken during the FBI's interview with the Democratic presidential nominee over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.

Clinton spoke with the FBI for more than three hours before Director James Comey recommended no charges against her.

Yesterday, I posted this in an open thread from Politico:

Feds debate releasing Clinton's FBI interview

The Obama administration is urgently debating how to respond to congressional demands for the official report on Hillary Clinton's three-and-a-half-hour interview at FBI headquarters, as some inside and outside government raise concerns about giving lawmakers access to politically sensitive records of the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email system.
During congressional testimony last month, FBI Director James Comey promised to respond promptly to lawmakers' requests for the interview summaries known as "302s" for Clinton and other witnesses, as well as other information gathered in the course of the year-long FBI probe.

(snip)

Comey and the FBI are pressing to send at least some of the requested information to the Hill soon, but others in government have stepped in to question such a move, officials tracking the debate said.
Among those involved in the discussions are State Department officials, since many of those interviewed in the FBI probe are current or former State employees.

I found the CNN piece:

Sources: Congress to get Hillary Clinton's FBI interview notes

Washington (CNN)Members of Congress will soon receive notes from Hillary Clinton's interview with the FBI over her private email server and they could be sent as early as Monday, according to sources.

The FBI does not have a complete transcript of the interview, FBI Director James Comey told Congress in long testimony earlier this summer. She was not under oath, he added. But members of Congress will have access to notes taken during the interview.
Several Republican lawmakers have requested the information after Comey's testimony.

No word yet exactly how yesterday's news transformed into today's.

Anything that doesn't consist of 'Subject remembers nothing, nothing, I tell you!'.

Psychopathy is not a political position, whether labeled 'conservatism', 'centrism' or 'left'.

A tin labeled 'coffee' may be a can of worms or pathology identified by a lack of empathy/willingness to harm others to achieve personal desires.

A court reporter can do a full transcript of a court hearing in a relatively short time, but the FBI cannot transcribe three hours of an interview that was conducted weeks ago? Call me cynical.

Do I hear the sound of guillotines being constructed?

to help the nation. I don't believe anyone in Washington anymore. With rare and few exceptions. They are corrupt, self-serving, egomaniacs and not particularly good at their day jobs.

Don't believe everything you think.

So, of course nothing in them can be held against Hillary in a court of law.

Comey said that it is a crime to tell lies when speaking to the FBI.

I believe it was when he appeared before Congress the next day after his statement was made. If true, then HRC would be liable for whatever consequences were described by that law.

Of course, if there is no precedent for prosecuting the rich and powerful when THEY break THAT law, she would most likely not be prosecuted.

The devil is in the details.

And is punishable under the UCMJ for service members and Federal cases...

Of course, the liar has to be "Proven" to know that statement was false... (Burden of proof is much lower in the service, where the standard is if you're an NCO or officer, you can lie at will, but basic enlisted might as well just confess because you'll be found guilty anyway.)

So, yeah, two tiered system of justice, and royals like Hillary will get away again with crimes that would put a peasant in jail for several years.
