Hillary Has What It Takes To Maintain U.S. Hegemony -- June 16, 2016
Witnessing The Humble Faith of Hillary Clinton -- June 21, 2016
Once we got inside the doors and through security, I was able to find a seat in my usual pew and began to pray in order to ground myself before this momentous church service. Then came the moment when you could feel her arrival. No one said anything; the entire church became filled with this powerful silence. And as the choir’s voices joined in unison to lead us in singing the opening hymn, I could not resist turning around to catch a glimpse of the woman I’ve supported for public office for almost a decade.
But when I turned around, I did not see a candidate for President of the United States, a former Secretary of State, a former Senator, or even a former First Lady. I saw a woman, a mother, and a wife. I saw a child of God...
So, now Clinton is running on the Evangelical ticket... thats one thing. But even worse is the program...
Since the outbreak of World War I, throughout the 20th century and into the new millennium, the United States has been highly ranked on the global stage economically, socially, and developmentally. The U.S. is a world superpower and global hegemon, attaining capabilities in central intelligence, military, and international relationships unmatched by any other country in the world. The future of the U.S.’s position in the world and the question of whether or not the U.S. will maintain hegemonic power in the upcoming decade is answered by who we choose as our next president.
The U.S. holds hegemonic power for many reasons, including our strong military, our stable economy, and the many multinational corporations that came to prominence in the U.S. Another major reason, and probably the most valued today, is our advanced central intelligence and technological capabilities, which are both extremely useful in the fight against ISIS.
This following is so crazy I don't even know what to say. Apparently Moses prophesied 34 signs... These signs are not the slaughter of civilians in Syria, Yemen, Honduras, Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Not climate change. Not institutionalized racism. Not locking up black and brown children in private for profit detention centers. Not flooding of coastal areas and major wildfires all over the world, not drought and death of crops. No. The signs of Moses are the mass shootings in the USA. And what is this crap about murdering first born Egyptians? Where does that fit in to American hegemony? None of these people give a shit about the mass death and destruction rooted in American hegemony.
The constitution grants us the right to bear arms, but just as clearly as God appeared to Moses in the burning bush and called him to lead the Israelites out of captivity, surely the thirty-four signs that have appeared to us in the last year should be enough to warn us that without action, efforts to achieve freedom are futile.
[One of the signs] Just this June, forty nine people died at the hand of gun violence in Orlando, Florida. The policymakers did nothing and hardened their hearts.
Sacred text reminds us that not even the stench of blood or dead frogs, annoying insects, skin boils, hail, locusts, or even darkness could make Pharaoh free the Israelites. Instead it took an unfathomable act, the death of the Egyptians’ firstborn for him to finally relinquish control and let Moses’ people go. What’s it going to take to make U.S. policymakers have a change of heart? Shouldn’t the stench of blood from fallen innocents be enough? Will it take losing a daughter, son, spouse, or other relative to make them say enough is enough and take the necessary actions that will benefit the common good?

God for gun control
My guess is there have been 34 public US shootings in the last year? Those are bad. There have been a lot more drone strikes. Those are good. Because:
Bernie's speech at Liberty University was much more in tune with a god(ess).
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
A Moral Life
What does it mean to live a moral life:
One of my favorite videos, I am sure everyone has seen it but I would like to keep it alive.
From the Light House.
Yeah, Shills hangs with a really 'spiritual' crowd. It seems to
me) that her religion is more for show and opportunism than it is a path to spiritual guidance or to finding an iota of ethics and/or integrity, something they all sorely lack. The more our 'Reps' wear their religion on their sleeves, the more you gotta wonder what sneaky self-serving surprises they got hidden up there. The Family is not an organization that preaches faith, hope, charity, and goodwill to just any of our fellow citizens. You have to look like them, think like them, talk like them, and disapprove of those who don't think that unfettered capitalism is the ideal form of government.

The Fellowship, also known as The Family (2)(3(4) and the International Foundation(5) is a U.S.-based religious and political organization founded in 1935 by Abraham Vereide. The stated purpose of the Fellowship is to provide a fellowship forum for decision makers to share in Bible studies, prayer meetings, worship experiences, and to experience spiritual affirmation and support.(6)(7)

C Street Center
The Fellowship runs a $1.8 million three-story brick mansion in Washington D.C. known as "C Street."(110)(111)(112)(113)(114)(115) It is the former convent for nearby St. Peter's Church. It is located a short distance from the United States Capitol. The structure has 12 bedrooms, nine bathrooms, five living rooms, four dining rooms, three offices, a kitchen, and a small "chapel".(8)
The facility houses mostly Republican members of Congress.(7)(8)(116) The house is also the locale for:
Wednesday prayer breakfasts for United States Senators, which have been attended by Senators Sam Brownback, Tom Coburn, James Inhofe, John Ensign, Susan Collins and Hillary Clinton.

C Street has been the subject of controversy over its claimed tax status as a church, the ownership of the property and its connection to the Fellowship, and the reportedly subsidized benefits the facility provides to members of Congress.

Nicely done!
Religion is what keeps the poor from killing the rich.
George Orwell was an optimist.
That woman saw a child of God?
No child of God would cut so many women and children off welfare that saw thousands become homeless and starve.
But more importantly than that, she wouldn't approve selling weapons to countries that have horrible human rights violations and knowing that those weapons including cluster bombs knowing that they would be used against innocent women and children.
I got dog piled yesterday at the site that used to be against wars when it was the republicans doing them. The site used to be against the Iraq war, but for some reason it's okay that Obama and Hillary destroyed Libya, Syria, Honduras and Ukraine.
The diarist called Bernie a SOB because he is continuing to try to make people's lives in this country better by getting better health care, affordable college and the other things he is running on.
I told them that they are being willfully blind when it comes to Hillary and what she is going to do to this country and the world when she's elected president.
Especially when she finishes privatizing social security that Bill had almost passed.
I reminded them how that site fought for single payer or a public option, but people don't think that is important anymore even when Hillary said that it will never, ever happen.
Then I asked them how many years will they say that she is playing 11 dimensional chess?
Gave it my best and last shot to show them that they are making up a Hillary that is not going to make things better for us or the many people in the world.
Just like many of us did with Obama during his first campaign.
Even Markos called out that diary for being dickish.
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.

The Prince of Peace as Mars the War God
The Evangelicals have reformed Jesus in good part to an Old Testament version of Mars. Hillary given her history would be a proper consort to Jesus as Mars. The neocons who I think nakedly worship at the Temple of Mars, see this and are endorsing her over Trump.
As a side note. What happened to the anti-war Hillary of her college years to now who in the centers of power has been the leading voice for national violence? Did she go through a second conversion, back to her Goldwater roots? (I should read her biography I suppose.)
thank you, Alex!
It is the very people that you describe in your essay who will make a simple request once $hillary gets elected, and she will shed all pretense of progressivity. These cultists (in every sense of the word!) will pull one string, and all her former pro-LGBT and pro-choice positions will evaporate like smoke. We will have Dr. James Dobson In Drag in the Oval Office.

Is this a great country . . . or what?

Ms Clinton Was
A regular at the C Street Fellowship https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fellowship_(Christian_organization) the people who made Stanford and Vitter clean, who authored Uganda's "Kill the Gays" bill and who, like Clinton, wants to bomb everything in the Middle East who is NOT Israel. If Evangelicals realized this, she would be one issue (two, if you count changing that (D) after her name to an (R)) from being a card-carrying pro-lifer.
OMG everything about her is phony and souless.
We'll all be psychologically damaged if we are subjected to it for 4 years. More importantly, innocent people in other countries will be killed for profit. People in this country will be killed for the profit of the health insurance industry and many of the other profit-over-people industries that are bankrolling Hillary's campaign. They're trying to kill our spirits.
Beware the bullshit factories.
