some people do, i'd guess that most working people don't. schools are closed today, though.

i'm going to take off a few days this week to finish up my taxes, do some stuff that needs doing and see a concert one night.

hope you had a good easter!

1. Why are so many very old men and women in political offices - think Biden, or Pelosi, and other younger minorities. Have you no decency, old guys and gals and Kamalians?

Are you not courageous enough to tell them old folks 'Enough is enough, retire already, go home and sleep and may be shut up more often than talk blah blah ?

oops I forgot the other nasty questions I wanted to ask.

And on top of that, now I am supposed to apologize?

Gimme a break, ah, forgot, we are all broken already.

Jesus have mercy, I need to be 'unbroken'.

@mimi

it's a fair question. i think that the system as it has been configured by successive generations of elites is biased towards planting older people in high offices.

people running for high office are generally expected to have some sort of track record of accomplishment, which tends to take some time. they also have to become well-known to the public, which is another hurdle that takes time.

if one is working one's way up through government, compared to the population at large, there are relatively few positions available in which one might distinguish themselves. those positions tend to be occupied by people who hang around forever once elected, since there is considerable advantage in being an incumbent and since some of these offices are so profitable.

the clogging up of the pipeline by irremovable incumbents who could never win a national election means that the bench for potential candidates is not very full and tends towards older people.

The Dalai Lama Had to apologize for asking a kid who wanted a hug to suck his tongue…

Plus I just read how musicians from the 60's had ties to the military and intelligence agencies through their families and many of them were already rich. Crosby, Young and a bunch of others that suddenly came to life in Laurel canyon.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

i had read years ago that the dalai lama was a cia asset, but i hadn't heard the bit about him being a little too "compassionate" with young people. i suppose it's not surprising though since so many unsavory sorts have religious callings.

well there's a lot of stuff there. i've read through part one and i'm not sure where he's headed with his findings, but i suppose the insinuation is that he will find that 60's anti war culture was a psyop.

a couple of things that struck me as curious:

Curiously enough though, the self-proclaimed “Lizard King” has another claim to fame as well, albeit one that none of his numerous chroniclers will feel is of much relevance to his career and possible untimely death: he is the son, as it turns out, of the aforementioned Admiral George Stephen Morrison.

back in the late seventies and early eighties my girfriend of the time was gaga over jim morrison and i wound up reading a couple of biographies of him. both of them prominently mentioned that his father was an admiral and discussed at some length morrison's estrangement from his father.

regarding zappa, the area i grew up in has lots of zappa relatives. i used to work with one of zappa's uncles (not at anything military-related). zappa's mom was a librarian and his grandfather owned a restaurant. zappa had a lot of relatives to be influenced by, i don't suppose that because his dad worked for the military that it's fair to think that for some reason that impeaches zappa's character.

anyway, if there's more conclusive evidence to be had than that a bunch of privileged kids somehow made their way to california, did a lot of drugs and made music together and the music industry made money off of it, i guess i'm all ears.

I’m just getting tired of finding out that things I’ve believed in for so long might have a different explanation to what actually happened. So many people I’ve looked up to only to find they were someone totally different than what I’ve thought they were. I’m hearing that Charlie Manson might have had ties to the CIA and that they manipulated him with drugs and helped send him on his killing spree. I posted an article on how many times the military experimented on us without our knowledge or consent.

Too bad that the courts don’t recognize entrapment. I don’t think any of the j-6 are getting a fair trial. Too many people are prejudiced against them because they watched the democrats one sided investigation for a year before they got placed on the jury.

Hey what happened to the rest of the 41,000 hours of video Carlson was supposed to show and why isn’t the mainstream media still bitching about not getting to see them? Ah well I guess Schumer put his foot down and quashed them after all. Boy I love justice American style.

about the leaks that were hidden on telegram after being out for months. Even WaPoo has brought more attention to them after Biden wanted them scrubbed from the internet. There’s something fishy about this, but I just can’t put my finger on it…. Scratch one-s head
