No news from Joe today and no news in the MSM. Only propaganda.

Small wonder that most people are in the dark if this is what they count as news.

This is not an exception but rather a typical method of brainwashing.

@humphrey There's some actual news.

Elon Musk seems to be returning to the Elon Musk who stood with The Truck Convoy.

Today, he turned off the Starlink system in Luhansk, Donestk, Kherson and Zaporizia.

This has deprived the Ukrainian and NATO forces communications for Command and Control.

@NYCVG I like how Matt Taibbi just described him (or rather, how he described others' describing him):

“If you ever decide to use nuclear weapons make sure that you use them close to your own border.”

Good grief can’t people see how stupid Russia would be to do that? Especially after they have taken care to keep civilian causalities down and not to destroy all the infrastructure like the US does. Sadly though I’m sure a lot of people will believe that might happen.

There is also the possibility that the Russians are jamming the satellites using electronic warfare as was mentioned earlier.

Michael Tracey was been waging a Twitter war against those who want escalation in Ukraine by invoking WWII analogies. A new entrant in this is Ken Burns. From his Tweets, Tracey is looking to stop arming Ukraine and start diplomacy to end the war.

Some interesting articles that are very interesting…

I’d love to hear other’s thoughts on this.

From 1945-49 the US and UK planned to bomb Russia into the Stone Age

Just weeks after the Second World War was over and with Nazi Germany defeated, Soviet Russia’s allies, the United States and Great Britain, hastened to develop military plans aimed at dismantling the USSR and wiping out its cities with a massive nuclear strike.

The plan, dubbed Operation Unthinkable, stated that its primary goal was “to impose upon Russia the will of the United States and the British Empire. Even though ‘the will’ of these two countries may be defined as no more than a square deal for Poland, that does not necessarily limit the military commitment.”

These “first-strike” plans developed by the Pentagon were aimed at destroying the USSR without any damage to the United States.

The 1949 Dropshot plan envisaged that the US would attack Soviet Russia and drop at least 300 nuclear bombs and 20,000 tons of conventional bombs on 200 targets in 100 urban areas, including Moscow and Leningrad (St. Petersburg). In addition, the planners offered to kick off a major land campaign against the USSR to win a “complete victory” over the Soviet Union together with the European allies. According to the plan Washington would start the war on January 1, 1957.

For a long period of time the only obstacle in the way of the US’ massive nuclear offensive was that the Pentagon did not possess enough atomic bombs (by 1948 Washington boasted an arsenal of 50 atomic bombs) as well as planes to carry them in. For instance, in 1948 the US Air Force had only thirty-two B-29 bombers modified to deliver nuclear bombs.

And yet we have Biden’s puppet Zelensky and others in Europe saying that nukes should be used against Russia preemptively even though Russia has stated unequivocally that they have no intention of using nukes in Ukraine and the only reason they would use them would be if the threat to Russia is dire. They have a no 1st use policy in place and they keep saying that. During Obama’s tenure we spent over a trillion dollars on mini nukes and many people in government have said that yes indeed the world can survive if just mini nukes are used. Someone stop the world because I want to get off until we have people with functioning brains working in our government.

I have said it before. Secret laws in secret courts is unconstitutional and it’s why the founders created the constitution and especially the bill of rights so our government couldn’t turn into what the colonists were fleeing from.

Be careful what you post: How Facebook and the US government have united against Americans with the 'wrong' views

It’s been revealed by sources within the US Department of Justice that direct messages sent through Facebook by American users, along with public postings, have been rigorously monitored, and reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) if they express anti-government, anti-authority views, or if they question the legitimacy of the November 2020 presidential election’s outcome.

Witch hunt on the web

Under the terms of a secret collaboration agreement with the FBI, a Facebook staffer has, over the past 19 months, been red-flagging content they consider to be “subversive” and immediately transmitting it to the Bureau’s domestic terrorism operational unit, without the FBI having filed a single subpoena – outside the established US legal process, without probable cause, and in breach of the First Amendment, in other words.

Just as shockingly, these intercepted communications were then provided as leads and tips to FBI field offices across the US, which in turn secured subpoenas in order to officially obtain the private conversations that they already possessed, and thus cover up the fact the material had been obtained extra-legally. Facebook invariably complied with these subpoenas, and would send back “gigabytes of data and photos” within an hour, suggesting the content sought was already packaged and awaiting legal confirmation before distribution.

Who polices the police?

Too many Americans believe that we should go into Ukraine and push Russia out and then the war will be over. However….Russia doesn’t have many private industries making weapons and things of war like we do where the primary reason for making weapons is to make shareholders rich. Many whistleblowers have come forward and said that too many corners are being cut on weapons and equipment and their ability to work as described has suffered.

South Korean Defense Sources Express Concerns About Unreliable F-35 Fighters

According to air force data obtained by Shin Won-min, a member of the South Korean National Assembly’s National Defense Committee, inspections have found the F-35s suffered from 234 flaws over 18 months from January 2021 to June 2022. These included 172 “non-flying status” (G-NORS) and 62 “cannot perform specific mission status” (F-NORS) cases. The data recorded 117 flightless and 45 mission-specific failures in 2021, and there was little improvement in the first half of 2022, with 55 and 17 failures of these types occurring over six months. The specific mission failure rates are notably more than twice those of South Korea’s Vietnam War era F-4 and F-5 fighters, the former of which is being directly replaced by the F-35.

In the case of the escalation of North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats, it cannot be permitted that this core combat force cannot function properly.”

An inspection in June, which revealed issues with avionics and forced an immediate cancellation of flights, came a month after an F-35 was sent to maintenance due to abnormalities in its fire controls. That in turn followed a “belly landing” in January after a fighter’s landing gear refused to open. These were only a few of several recent cases. Such issues have taken South Korea’s F-35s out of service for periods ranging from a few days to several months, and add to existing questions regarding how viable the aircraft would be in a wartime situation when high reliability is vital.

“You give us an engine and it doesn’t work, well it worked for a little while until it gets some dust around and then it doesn’t work. What the hell? What’s going on here?” House Armed Service Subcommittee on Readiness Chairman Congressman John Garamendi stated at the hearing, which found that engine issues were causing unavailability rates at 600 percent of standard levels for the Air Force.

On this note folks have a great weekend!

The US and its puppets have been planning for the war in Ukraine for a long time.

In 2015 Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada established the Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine (JMTG-U) and they set up three new training sites, in Khmelnytskyi, Kamianets-Podilskyi, and Yavoriv.

https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/services/operations...

Operation UNIFIER is the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) mission in support of the Security Forces of Ukraine. The operation’s focus is to assist with security force training. This will help them improve as well as build their capability and capacity to repel the Russian invasion. The CAF coordinates its efforts with other partners and allies such as the United Kingdom (UK), the United States (US) and other countries that give support in the same way. Military training is one part of Canada’s overall support to Ukraine.

The CAF launched Operation UNIFIER in response to requests from the Government of Ukraine. The intent is to help Ukraine remain free, sovereign, secure, and stable.

In the past the training mission harmonized its efforts with other nations through a Multinational Joint Commission that included Canada, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine, the UK, and the US. Canada became a member in January 2015. At present, Canada is coordinating its UNIFIER training efforts with the UK under the UK-led Op INTERFLEX. Other nations such as New Zealand and The Netherlands have also offered small contributions to the UK.

according to the article. And actually the CIA and others have been planning to use Ukraine to destroy Russia since the end of the Great War. This was another way to destroy Russia. Russia developed nukes earlier than they thought it would.

The west tried to destroy Russia from the inside by means of Boris Yeltsin.

Who knows when the planing of the Euro Maiden actually began

Nuland seems to have gotten a twofer.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26079957

Jonathan Marcus: The US says that it is working with all sides in the crisis to reach a peaceful solution, noting that "ultimately it is up to the Ukrainian people to decide their future". However this transcript suggests that the US has very clear ideas about what the outcome should be and is striving to achieve these goals. Russian spokesmen have insisted that the US is meddling in Ukraine's affairs - no more than Moscow, the cynic might say - but Washington clearly has its own game-plan. The clear purpose in leaking this conversation is to embarrass Washington and for audiences susceptible to Moscow's message to portray the US as interfering in Ukraine's domestic affairs.

Nuland: Good. I don't think Klitsch should go into the government. I don't think it's necessary, I don't think it's a good idea.

Pyatt: Yeah. I guess... in terms of him not going into the government, just let him stay out and do his political homework and stuff. I'm just thinking in terms of sort of the process moving ahead we want to keep the moderate democrats together. The problem is going to be Tyahnybok [Oleh Tyahnybok, the other opposition leader] and his guys and I'm sure that's part of what [President Viktor] Yanukovych is calculating on all this.

Nuland: [Breaks in] I think Yats is the guy who's got the economic experience, the governing experience. He's the... what he needs is Klitsch and Tyahnybok on the outside. He needs to be talking to them four times a week, you know. I just think Klitsch going in... he's going to be at that level working for Yatseniuk, it's just not going to work.

snip

Nuland: OK... one more wrinkle for you Geoff. [A click can be heard] I can't remember if I told you this, or if I only told Washington this, that when I talked to Jeff Feltman [United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs] this morning, he had a new name for the UN guy Robert Serry did I write you that this morning?

Jonathan Marcus: An intriguing insight into the foreign policy process with work going on at a number of levels: Various officials attempting to marshal the Ukrainian opposition; efforts to get the UN to play an active role in bolstering a deal; and (as you can see below) the big guns waiting in the wings - US Vice-President Joe Biden clearly being lined up to give private words of encouragement at the appropriate moment.
Pyatt: Yeah I saw that.

Nuland: OK. He's now gotten both Serry and [UN Secretary General] Ban Ki-moon to agree that Serry could come in Monday or Tuesday. So that would be great, I think, to help glue this thing and to have the UN help glue it and, you know,Fuck the EU.

With only 35% of the population of Auckland voting, they call this a democracy?
