Personalized medical decisions are ideally done in conjunction with a physician using their expertise in practice of medicine, the most up-to-date medical information and a patient's unique situation. Not complying to the one-size fits all philosophy of Covid protocols has been a difficult for physicians.

I was surprised last year when a household member received unsolicited advice from their personal physician to avoid receiving a vaccine due to allergy history and a hematological disorder. The timing of the advice and this recent Oregonian article describing a tragic local event last April is probably why the physician spoke out. So the household member will continue to practice habits and protocols to avoid Covid infection without use of a vaccine.

The Anti-vaxxer label still gets applied by some people who are unbending in their opinion of no exceptions for vaccines. But life goes on. And that is the most important fact the person is alive, health still improving and enjoying each day.

Oregon woman 1 of just 9 people in US to die from very rare COVID vaccine side effect: ‘Who thinks it’s going to be you?’ The Oregonian Mar. 03, 2022

BEND — Monica Melkonian wanted the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. It was only one shot and then she would be protected against the coronavirus. So she was thrilled when the vaccination clinic at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center on April 7 had her first choice.

But on April 13, Melkonian started experiencing headaches, a sharp pain behind her left eye. That same day federal health officials announced a pause in the use of the J&J vaccine after learning that six people had developed a rare blood-clotting disorder following their shots.
...
The 52-year-old woman is one of only nine people in the U.S. known to have died from vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia, a rare side effect of the J&J vaccine, and a victim of tragic timing. Thomas believes his wife would be alive today had the information about potential side effects been shared even a few days earlier. Instead, he is left to tell her story and protect her legacy.
...
According to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, women between ages 30 and 49 appear to be at highest risk for the complication that killed Melkonian. Federal health officials now recommend everyone take the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccines instead. They’ve left the J&J vaccine on the market to avoid undermining confidence in a vaccine that will likely play a crucial role in bringing the global pandemic to an end.

It’s a decision that Melkonian’s death helped illuminate. Her case was presented to the experts who made that recommendation.

Now Thomas is fighting to ensure her sacrifice is not forgotten. It’s easy to lose sight of the humanity hidden in the statistics of risk.

“When it’s 8 million doses and two people are going to die from it,” he said, “who thinks it’s going to be you?”
...
He figured people would second-guess his decision to get vaccinated after her death. “I’ve got friends that refuse to get a shot and they’re losing their job because they don’t want to get a shot. And they’re like, ‘But look what happened to Monica,’” he said. “They use her as justification.”

However, he said, he still believes in COVID-19 vaccines — and that his choice was made before his wife died. He is now among the more than 200 million Americans vaccinated against COVID-19.

They’ve left the J&J vaccine on the market to avoid undermining confidence in a vaccine that will likely play a crucial role in bringing the global pandemic to an end.

Hiding known adverse events, thereby nullifying any pretense of informed consent, a fundamental ethical precept of the practice of medicine to this day, our ‘public health’ officials continue to withhold, obfuscate, mischaracterize, redact and spin safety data that rightfully belongs to the people who have unwittingly participated in the largest human medical experiment the world has ever seen.

Many of the jabbed are happy to have done so, disbelieving those who question the highly touted safety claims of the vaccine products, and some may also feel the deceptions and withheld adverse event information were, are, and will be warranted and justified because of some ‘greater good’ notion. I am left feeling betrayed, and needlessly lied to by these deliberate omissions.

I fear that this top down totalitarian public health system that has emerged from our COVID-19 experience will continue to decide what the public ‘needs to know’, that it will continue to be rewarded for its demonstrable ineptitude and ethical breaches. Without redress and accountability, it will only get worse with each future ‘pandemic’.

Oxfam Files SEC Complaint Against Moderna Common Dreams Dec 21, 2021

Oxfam Files SEC Complaint Against Moderna
WASHINGTON -

Moderna shareholder Oxfam America today filed a whistleblower complaint against the company with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for publishing misleading statements and failing to disclose to shareholders and the SEC that it has been part of a prolonged patent dispute with scientists at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Oxfam’s complaint alleges that, a year after receiving temporary emergency authorization for its COVID-19 vaccine from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Moderna has not been transparent about its patent dispute and buried critical information from its own investors. At the same time, according to Oxfam’s complaint, the company has been unable to produce enough doses to cover global need yet unwilling to share the technology with other manufacturers to ramp up production so everyone, everywhere could have access to this life-saving vaccine.

Bankruptcy For Moderna, Definitely Pfizer Nakedcapitalism.com Feb 24, 2022

Yves here. I’m in no position to verify the underlying data, but the fact that both Moderna and Pfizer stocks are markedly down says investors regard these concerns about vaccine liability as serious.

A lawyer buddy thinks that even if this take on the frequency of bad side effect is spot on, Pfizer and Moderna still might get off the hook on product liability in the US. However, shareholders would have them dead to rights on securities fraud, for not disclosing to investors the information they had about serious vaccine side effects and the impact that could have on willingness to get boosted. In addition, foreign countries that also gave liability waivers are not as likely to be forgiving as the US. We could see a Boeing 737 Max replay, of foreign regulators lowering the boom and the US position eventually becoming untenable.

Still have not seen a good path open up to hold bureaucrats and policy makers accountable.

@Lookout the FLCCC protocols may be used by individuals who are fully vaccinated with boosters, partially vaccinated and nonvaccinated to reduce the risk of an infection and severe complications. Adjustments to the protocol should be made for personal situations and health condition. Vaccines do not provide 100% protection and at the moment individuals are not monitored for adequate immune response for protection.

Understanding potential health risk factors, chronic conditions, monitoring to avoid complications and treatment goals can also be an essential part of a personal plan.

Appreciate the gentle reminder.

@QMS thoughtful use of N95 masks (respirators) and indoor filters are key components to prevention. None of the methods are 100% preventive. The concept is to reduce the initial viral load to levels the immune system can easily eliminate.

I carry a N95 mask with me to wear whenever entering a building which I consider having poor air filtration, a high density of people or the cases of Covid is starting to rise in the area. If outside and talking to someone who has been exposed to Covid or has an active infection wear the mask. Plus try to stay upwind and stand a few feet away.

Inside my own home have central air with a good filter cleaned frequently. At times based on potential increased exposure to virus will add a room filter. Used the designs provided by yourself and Randtntx to have a portable filter for the barn and shop when necessary. Sorry folks do not have a link right in front of me.

Do not forget hand washing Covid is not the only infectious disease.

It’s what Biden is doing by telling people that if they test positive for Covid to just go to a pharmacy and get the new big pharma drugs now available. No consultation with one’s doctor is needed even though the pills aren’t recommended for everyone because they come with huge risks and side effects. Pfizer’s drug shouldn’t be taken if people are on certain drugs because of how they react with them. Merck’s shouldn’t be taken by pregnant women or women of childbearing age because of the high potential to cause birth defects. Some doctors are speaking out and many of them are livid for destroying the doctor/patient relationship. Pharmacists cannot give medical advice. It’s practicing medicine without a license and very frowned upon.

As for the pro jab people who insist that the mRNA shots side effects are rare this site shows that it’s not true.

https://www.theysayitsrare.com/

The agony and anguish reported in the tweets here are heartbreaking. Many people who have been jab injured have been abandoned by family and friends because of course the jab can’t cause injuries. They know that because Fauci has told them that they are perfectly safe. Oh sure you might get a sore arm for a day or two, but that’s to be expected right?

Pfizer has released its 2nd set of information and again its a doozy. The 1st set showed that they reported 1,200 deaths in the 1st few months and the 2nd showed the side effects which were posted in 9 pages. If you missed this look back at previous doses. But even worse is that the 2nd one showed how fraudulent the trial was. There was no set rule for how adverse effects were reported. It probably missed a huge percentage of them.

On a happy note here’s one judge who is waking up to what has been happening.

[1] When did it become illegal to ask questions? Especially in the courtroom?

[2] And when did it become unfashionable for judges to receive answers? Especially when
children’s lives are at stake?

[3] How did we lower our guard and let the words “unacceptable beliefs” get paired together?
In a democracy? On the Scales of Justice?

[4] Should judges sit back as the concept of “Judicial Notice” gets hijacked from a rule of
evidence to a substitute for evidence

[5] And is “misinformation” even a real word? Or has it become a crass, self-serving tool to pre-empt scrutiny and discredit your opponent? To de-legitimize questions and strategically avoid giving answers. Blanket denials are almost never acceptable in our adversarial system. Each party always has the onus to prove their case and yet “misinformation” has crept into the court lexicon. A childish – but sinister – way of saying “You’re so wrong, I don’t even have to explain why you’re wrong.”

What does any of this have to do with family court? Sadly, these days it has everything to do with family court.

[7] Because when society demonizes and punishes anyone who disagrees – or even dares to ask really important questions – the resulting polarization, disrespect, and simmering anger can have devastating consequences for the mothers, fathers and children I deal with on a daily basis.

[8] It’s becoming harder for family court judges to turn enemies into friends -- when governments are so recklessly turning friends into enemies.

[9] The motion before me is a typical – and frightening – example of how far we are drifting from cherished values.

[10] The father wants two children ages 12 and 10 to receive COVID vaccinations. The mother is opposed.

[11] Now, answer honestly. Did the previous paragraph give you enough information to form an opinion about how this case should turn out?

[12] We’re all weary. We all wish COVID would just go away. But pandemic fatigue is no excuse for short-cuts and lowering our standards. We all have to guard against the unconscious bias of thinking “Why won’t these people just do what the government tells them to do?”

[13] We have to decide on the basis of the best interests of each particular child in each particular fact situation.

[14] We have to rely on – and insist upon – evidence.

[15] In this case the evidence provided more questions than answers.

You can read the rest.

Was Humpty Dumpty pushed?

studentofearth's picture

@snoopydawg spent a couple of decades in that particular niche. It is well protected by legal interpretations and practice board. The scope is limited by knowledge of patient, reasonable standard of practice, complexity of patient, treatment restrictions and state regulations regarding the Practice of Pharmacy.

Pharmacists do not have the legal authority to diagnose a medical condition but can provide treatment options for signs and symptoms, provide referrals to other health professionals and in some states work under protocols overseen by physicians to order lab tests and make changes in Legend drug therapy. (Legend drug - requires a prescription). One of the work arounds for the "Test and Treat" program is a positive COVID test triggering the antiviral treatment, not a diagnosis by a pharmacist. Some states issued a state wide protocol for vaccines treatments by pharmacists. Imagine similar protocols for the antivirals under FDA Emergency Use Authorization.

An obstacles for a one stop visit with a physician is most clinics do not have legal authority to dispense a drug treatment for home use. The legal prescriber (varies by state) can write a prescription, which a pharmacist has the responsibility not to fill if in their professional opinion it could harm the patient. Confused yet, my mind is heading in that direction.

Do I think it is a good idea to shift this program to chain pharmacies with existing staffing problems, very limited time for face to face interactions with patients and who often practice by screen prompts from software - NO. The safety profile on these drugs is not very good.

Screen prompts from software is a growing issue in all aspects of medical care and is a subject worth discussing at length as its own issue.

Reposting so more can see it.

1919 Spanish flu pandemic was responsible for the majority of deaths, not the pathogenesis of the virus alone.

From The Real Anthony Fauci:

In 2008 Fauci coauthored a study for the Journal of Infectious Disease confessing that virtually all of the “influenza” casualties in 1918 did not actually die from flu but from bacterial pneumonia and bronchial meningitis, which are, today, easily treated with antibiotics unavailable in 1918. The Spanish flu that virologists that have invoked to terrorize generations of Americans with vaccine compliance is, after all, a paper tiger.

From the JID paper:

Conclusions. The majority of deaths in the 1918–1919 influenza pandemic likely resulted directly from secondary bacterial pneumonia caused by common upper respiratory-tract bacteria. Less substantial data from the subsequent 1957 and 1968 pandemics are consistent with these findings. If severe pandemic influenza is largely a problem of viral-bacterial copathogenesis, pandemic planning needs to go beyond addressing the viral cause alone (e.g., influenza vaccines and antiviral drugs). Prevention, diagnosis, prophylaxis, and treatment of secondary bacterial pneumonia, as well as stockpiling of antibiotics and bacterial vaccines, should also be high priorities for pandemic planning.

Your drugs? You can check here

Here’s what I found on my doctor. From what I’m seeing he hasn’t taken a lot of money except for food and beverages which might just mean meals for the office. My pain doctor only gets fed. Good to know.

Drug reps love to waltz in with pizzas, donuts or take the office out to lunch. I lived with one once and boy were my eyes opened. The amount of money big pharma spends on trinkets too is very high.

Here’s a great article on how our government sells itself to big pharma and of course how it has purchased every part of the process that makes our drugs less safe. Lots of this information is already known but there’s much more going on behind the scenes. It’s corruption and fraud and so much more.

https://medium.com/@bexstrong/big-pharma-corruption-and-lawsuits-amidst-...

On Purdue and OxyContin;

Purdue probably wouldn’t have been able to pull this off if it weren’t for an FDA examiner named Curtis Wright, and his assistant Douglas Kramer. While Purdue was pursuing Wright’s stamp of approval on OxyContin, Wright took an outright sketchy approach to their application, instructing the company to mail documents to his home office rather than the FDA, and enlisting Purdue employees to help him review trials about the safety of the drug. The Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act requires that the FDA have access to at least two randomized controlled trials before deeming a drug as safe and effective, but in the case of OxyContin, it got approved with data from just one measly two-week study — in osteoarthritis patients, no less.

They got their wrist slapped in 2007 and after that they then started targeting regular physicians instead of just pain ones. And again they and the family are being protected by the courts and the government. They really do hate us don’t they?

Well gosh will you look at that.

When both Wright and Kramer left the FDA, they went on to work for none other than (drumroll, please) Purdue, with Wright earning three times his FDA salary. By the way — this is just one example of the FDA’s notoriously incestuous relationship with big pharma, often referred to as “the revolving door”. In fact, a 2018 Science report revealed that 11 out of 16 FDA reviewers ended up at the same companies they had been regulating products for.

Well yeah and that’s why everyone should have questioned the safety of the mRNA shots that were created at warp speed. How can people not question whether they were created safely?

“The FDA came back and said, ‘Oh, it’s the weirdest thing, but we don’t have anything. It’s all either been lost or destroyed,’” Keefe told Fortune in an interview. “But it’s not just the FDA. It’s Congress, it’s the Department of Justice, it’s big parts of the medical establishment … the sheer amount of money involved, I think, has meant that a lot of the checks that should be in place in society to not just achieve justice, but also to protect us as consumers, were not there because they had been co-opted.”

I think at one time many people were aware of how bad big pharma was. The numbers of times they have been fined was known. I knew it.

Just finished reading The Real Doctor Fauci. Yikes! How about Bill Gates and his nasty global agenda? Wow! I'm not vacced don't want a thing to do with drug company's. Lost a son to Big Pharma 2years ago. He signed on to a untested drug for of all things a skin disease Psoriasis. He signed away his rights to sue. He got cancer from the drug.I too have had bad reactions when dealing with our anti-humanistic medical system. Drug her up. That's the ticket. No thanks no more machines that go ping and light me up. Oh please give me my diagnosis. Yeah well good luck with healing yourself.

Our 'health system' is a death trap. There is no way to find a healer just big pharma and mass HMO hell holes. People say to me ask your 'health provider". lol. Who would that be? I have basic medicare but want nothing to do with insurance providers. What a scam our so called healthcare system is including Medicare. Me I'm waiting for this bs. to pass and finding me a Chinese doctor or a so called crack pot alternative to this killer 'industry'.
I truly believe there is nothing that heals in this so called healthcare system. Not anti science but am anti Big Pharma and Big creepy 'healthcare' western corporate style.

@snoopydawg from Covid. He took experimental drugs for his psoriasis a skin disease. Took it for years. Signed a release thing like with vax's. He got Lymphoma and died two years after diagnosis. Course they bombarded his system with radiation and other nasty treatments. He got Covid at the end most likely from his weakened condition and his hospital stays. All in all it did not make me want anything to do with our so called health system. Toxic. Just my opinion. I personally have no tolerance for pharmaceuticals. I had exema for years and they shot me up with cortisone. Finally went to a actual real dermatological doctor who said its related to asthma, which my mother had. She recommended no cortisone and eating healthy along with other natural remedies.Stopped the drugs got out of the loop and am much better. So my son was not a victim of covid but of pharmaceutical misuse. He did get it at the end.
