The Dose Laying Down on the Jab Again

A column for conversation of all things COVID

After watching the herding instinct of grazing animals I featured in the Weekly Watch videos today, I wonder how different we humans are. The word Tribal (worth the 12 min watch) is more acceptable than herd, but kind of the same thing really. Dr. Mattias Desmet mentioned in a recent conversation about the flocking nature of swallows as large groups swoop and sway in unison as a way to visualize Mass Formation Hypnosis. Are we any different? Some individuals are and they usually pay a price.

The doctors in the clip above went on to discuss those who escape the herd mentality including Socrates (who was forced to drink poison), Galileo (who was excommunicated and put under house arrest), and Lister. Another example might be Ignaz Semmelweis.

Back in 19th-century Vienna, a health official named Ignaz Semmelweis made a sane suggestion that people at the time thought was utterly scandalous. Semmelweis said that doctors should start washing their hands if they wanted to assist in births, especially if they handled corpses beforehand. The doctors were downright insulted that Semmelweis would suggest that their hands were anything but pristine and perfect. One of them, Charles, Meigs, apparently argued that since a gentleman's hands were always clean, then a doctor (whose hands were considered more 'gentlemanly' than most) did not need to soil his reputation by washing them. Semmelweis was even sacked from his position due to his suggestion and people kept dying. Sadly, Semmelweis himself was commuted to a mental institution where he lived the rest of his days.

It also reminds me of the people in the Milgram experiment that refused to shock people...a small minority.

Those that question accepted narratives are ostracized and punished. Consider the treatment of Dr Marik (forced to sue his hospital and he has resigned from his university position), Dr. Kory (losing three jobs in the last two years), Dr. Malone (being censored and smeared), Dr McCullogh (who lost his University position and spent $150,000 in a suit so far), all of whom pay a big price for their honest analysis and public education about proper treatments and the nature of this virus and the disease it causes. We should all be grateful to these courageous people who are willing to sacrifice their careers to educate us and serve their patients rather than their pocketbooks and professional status.

And here's to those in C99 who dare to question and step outside the lines!

Well it is here...an irrefutable study on the efficacy of IVM in COVID. The Brazilians are a bit difficult to understand, but they use slide sets that make it easy to follow.
Four prominent doctors, Dr. Kory, Dr. Marik, Dr. Kerr, and Dr. Cadegiani, discuss definitive results from the largest study of ivermectin in COVID-19—proving the repurposed drug as a public health game changer. Plus, the doctors answer pertinent questions about the omicron variant in addition they address a letter sent out to many of our providers by the Attorney General of New York addressing the legality of prescribing ivermectin.

Dr Kory mentions at the end IVM isn't as effective on the omicron variant because of the novel way the virus enters cells.

I present three sure fire ways to detect if your government actually cares about your health specifically or public health generally. Spoiler alert – most don’t.
The dysfunction we are seeing with the health authorities is just the tip of a very rotten, and corrupt iceberg. The same levels of dysfunction exist throughout the entire edifice of agencies upon whom so much depends. It’s time for your voice to be heard and it’s time for you to become more resilient – just in case.

Perish the thought!

The data seems to have been well collected and analyzed, and unlike the Pfizer data, will be made available in it’s entirety to any researchers or health professionals who cares to examine it. In preprint now, peer review and publication to follow, assuming journal editors don’t find an excuse to refuse to publish.

but they are being blocked by Fauci on big pharma’s command.

She is right. People were murdered by ineffective treatments given in hospitals and from not getting meds that could have helped. The lady I posted about yesterday had refused to get remdisiver and noted it in her living will done by an attorney, but was sedated and put on it and a ventilator anyway. Her attorney and the person who she gave power of attorney over her health and herself tried to leave the hospital, but she wasn’t allowed and they were removed from the hospital by security. Eventually there is going to be hell to pay because of how many people died who could have been saved by them.

Sorry if this is garbled. Insomnia again so up way too damn early so my brain is slow to function.

right on target! We have been murdering people by withholding effective treatments.

My other big beef is not promoting preventative measures like Vitamin D and zinc. I hope people do rise up against these policies and stand up for bodily freedom. I mean if you can't decide which chemicals are injected into your body, what freedom do you have?

Thanks for posting the clip in your morning daze!

She is correct about masks, our impotent vaccines and the criminality of the systemic withholding of safe and effective early interventions that would have prevented a sizable majority of COVID deaths here in the US and around the world.

that are worth a look if you missed them. Including the one on the lady I’m talking about. Good videos in them too. There’s so much information posted in the daily dose it’s hard to keep up.

Here’s another take down on what happened at the SC Friday.

Get The Courts Out Of Science

Yesterday morning I listened to the oral arguments in the case of the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates as enforced by OSHA. It was a demoralizing experience.

I heard some crazy things, such as a claim that “750 million” Americans just got Covid yesterday, and that 100,000 kids with Covid are in the hospital, many on ventilators. The correct number is 3,300 with positive tests, but not necessarily suffering from Covid. I further heard strong claims that the vaccines block disease spread, despite every bit of evidence to the contrary.

It was my first time hearing oral arguments in the Supreme Court. I might have thought that facts on the ground would actually matter to people who are holding the fate of human liberty in their hands. I might have thought that they would be getting their information from somewhere other than their political intuition, mixed with wildly inaccurate claims from bloggers and media pundits.

I was wrong. And that is deeply alarming. Or maybe it is a wake up call to us all. We have learned today that these people are no smarter than our neighbors, no more qualified to address complicated questions than our friends, and arguably far less informed than the Twittersphere about basic issues of Covid and public health.

The backdrop of today’s arguments is that 74% of Americans of all ages have had at least one shot. Meanwhile, case numbers are up 500% in many places, and 721,000 new cases have been logged throughout the country, and that’s obviously a large underestimate because it does not count at-home tests which are selling out in stores around the country.

The extremely obvious point – the most basic observation one can make about this data – is that the vaccinations are not controlling the spread. This has been granted already by the CDC and every other authority.

No matter what people say in retrospect, I seriously doubt that anyone would have predicted a future in which the pandemic highs would be reached following mass vaccination. It’s not only true in the US but also all over the world. However much they help with mitigating severe outcomes of the disease, at least for a time, they have not been successful in stopping the spread of the virus. They will not end the pandemic.

Apparently there was not one mention of natural immunity during the oral arguments, which is truly astounding. From what I could hear, there was a strangely truncated environment in which no one was willing to say certain obvious truths, almost as if a pre-set orthodoxy had been defined at the outset. There were certain givens that simply were not questioned; namely that this is a disease without precedent, that the state can stop it, that vaccines are the best ticket we have, that the unvaccinated have absolutely no good reason to remain that way.

Hopefully that’s enough to peak your interest and you’ll read the rest.

One tweet I read yesterday was since the justices were so ill informed about Covid will Walensky put out a statement correcting them or will she stay silent since it furthers her agenda? The answer will be telling. They have access to the brightness help available and they could have had their law clerks get as much information for them to make this decision. They only have one thing to decide on. Can the president force people to take something that they do not want to take and if he can what else can he force people to do whether medically or something worse? Laws are supposed to be made by congress not the executive. Their job is to rule on the constitution. Period. They just basically repeated big pharma’s talking points.

Make it an overwhelming victory for our rights. He said that this case should never have gotten there in the first place and that the lockdowns should have been overruled immediately. The courts said that Biden couldn’t keep people from being evicted, but they might rule for mandatory vaccines?

Here’s another one he wrote about Sotomayer's boneheaded statement.

In defense of regulatory mandates during oral arguments, the following words were spoken by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor: “Why is a human being not like a machine if it’s spewing a virus?” For her, it is a simple matter: regulatory impositions rule the machine world so why not the human one too?

The question came across to listeners (millions heard these arguments for the first time) as shocking. How can anyone think this way? Human beings carry pathogens, tens of trillions of them. Yes, we infect each other, and our immune systems adapt as they have evolved to do. Still, we have rights. We have freedom. These have granted us longer and better lives.

The Bill of Rights doesn’t pertain to machines. Machines don’t comply with Constitutions. Machines have no volition. Machines are things that must be powered by external sources, programmed by humans, and behave exactly as they are managed to behave. If a machine doesn’t do what is expected, it is broken and therefore repaired or replaced.

That shouldn’t need explaining!

full of interesting news like:
https://www.keeptalkinggreece.com/2022/01/08/greece-deputy-health-minist...

Deputy Health Minister Mina Gaga told media on Saturday that the Covid-19 pandemic will soon be over and that people will have to live with it like with a common flu. In an interview with news website iefirmerida.gr, Gaga estimated that things will be better in two to three weeks. however, people should comply with the measures. She predicted a quick de-escalation saying that soon the whole issue will be over.

The deputy health minister, who is a medical doctor by profession said that the Omicron variant seems to be now the dominant strain of the virus in Greece, as it concerns up to 90% of new Covid-19 cases.

“Internationally – and in our country – with the predominance of Omicron, there is a tendency of stabilization in the so-called hard markers (admissions to ICUs and deaths), which supports the view that this mutation causes a milder disease, especially in the fully vaccinated population,” Gaga told iefimerida.gr.

Why can't we have similar messaging. All we get is third jabs.

Together Trial ivermectin trial (prematurely ended in July 2021) done in Brazil was designed to fail. They only used 36mg for 90kg person (400mcg/kg). Dr. Kerr says that ivermectin is dose dependent: 180-240mg = 1 death; greater than 240mg no death. Very safe drug.

The Together Trial was financed by Gates. McMaster has a new nasal vaccine in Stage III trials so has a conflict of interest - they can't get a EUA if ivermectin works.

Gates Open Research

This trial was also investigating hydroxychloroquine which ended in September, 2020. I was debating Alligator Ed at the time and used this trial's failure to support my (mistaken) position that this prophylaxis not only did not work, it actually caused more deaths. We didn't know at the time that they were giving extremely high doses in late stage of COVID without the necessary zinc - ANOTHER TRIAL DESIGNED TO FAIL. I wish I could give my mea culpa to that fine man.

Science is dying; superstition disguised as morality is returning. And we’ll all soon become poorer, angrier, and more divided.

Many good things said at the link...

Ivermectin. Early treatment of the disease was completely neglected by policy. Frontline doctors trying to McGyver their way into solutions using Ivermectin and other drugs were shut down completely. Careers were destroyed. The public was duped by a massive media campaign and overt censorship. All this was to ensure that the vaccines and patent-protected antiviral drugs could be developed and sold. There are, however, darker and more sinister interpretations.
The lockdowns and social distancing policies came almost exclusively from the medical authorities paying no attention whatsoever to the socioeconomic and other health consequences.

The irony that Fauci never “followed the science” makes my head hurt.

It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.

You probably heard that Covid increases the risk for diabetes in kids recently. But does it really?

https://vinayprasadmdmph.substack.com/p/does-covid19-cause-diabetes-in-kids

Now why would they be saying something like that when it’s not verified and probably not true? Because parents are leery about getting their kids jabbed. And big pharma needs kids jabbed and the vaccines authorized for them so they can not get sued. Period. Kids are not at risk of serious illness or death unless they are compromised bigly. Just more fear mongering to push the jab. As the doctor said, they are destroying people’s trust and gawd help us if a more serious virus comes for us?
But I’m thinking that Walensky is going to be thrown under the bus soon. Yesterday she said that omicron (oh-come-on) is basically taking out people who have lots of comorbidities and that’s a good thing. People accused her of being a eugenicist. Ouch.

It’s very long, but filled with great information. How many times have we seen the leaders out and about without any masks on, but in front of the cameras they wear them? Or high poluty events where only the staff is masked? This really shows the stupidity of making kids wear them.

E05C1355-7A32-48C5-876E-DE853F10C045.png

I’m at the point where it’s talking about how badly kids schooling was done during the epidemic and many parents are holding their kids back a year cuz they didn’t learn anything. Babies need to see people’s faces during development and their IQs have suffered because of the stupid masks. There’s enough information on them that shows they don’t do much to prevent infections. I see older people out walking with them on. One guy came to the cemetery and put his on even though there was no one near him! You’re outside in the sunshine with a breeze for gawd’s sake! What cracks me up are the people who are alone in their cars wearing them. Jimmy did a show on how many people canceled Xmas even though they were double jabbed and boosted. How do people recover from this hypnosis? Anyhoo back to reading it. Great snarkiness too.

The Dose many many times, by presenting a skeptical view and/or links to the evidence for that dim view of the "heroes" of the anti-vax movement. It appears that I get no points here for that. I have been called "a troll", had my mental status questioned (I am "fucked in the head"), accused of working for big pharma, and told to "take your jab and shut the fuck up about it". When this has happened to me here on C99, I see little support despite the site's mandate not to attack people personally. So pardon me if I don't express sympathy for these four men of the apocalypse and their sad tales of censorship. I personally don't think that censorship is the best way to handle any of them. I prefer to keep on seeing their statements and claims so that they can be refuted if necessary.

"Those that question accepted narratives are ostracized and punished. We should all be grateful to these courageous people who are willing to sacrifice their careers to educate us and serve their patients rather than their pocketbooks and professional status." If you really think that these men have not seen financial benefits from the millions of dollars that flow from anti vax or right wing support groups or from the social media and webcasters who interview them, then you need to look into the system a little closer.

Here are brief sketches of just some of the reasons I don't fall into line with the massive amounts of conspiracy information that is posted daily on The Dose.

Marik, Malone, Kory and McCullough have made unscientific claims I have pointed these out several times over the last months.

Marik- sued his hospital for the right to use Ivermectin on Covid patients despite the fact that studies have either shown it to be ineffective or the studies themselves were withdrawn. He promoted the HAT method for dealing with sepsis and made claims about its effectiveness that were finally studies and shown to be false...https://www.acepnow.com/article/vitamin-c-not-a-magical-cure-for-severe-...

Malone- falsely claimed (and still claims) to be the "inventor" of the mRNA technology. Tons of articles have disputed his claim. He claimed the spike protein in the vaccines was cytotoxic and that the vaccines change your genes, both claims proven false by scientists. He claimed that tens of thousands of people have died from the mRNA vaccines and that the vaccines can cause brain lesions in children. Now he claims to be a social psychology expert and that people who have taken vaccines are victims of "mass formation psychology". There are plenty of take downs of this claim already.

Kory- claimed "Mountains of data" show drug ivermectin "basically obliterates" COVID-19 transmission. Kory called it a "miracle drug" in his testimony to Congress. Despite putting himself and his daughter on Ivermectin, both got Covid. He claimed on social media that 100-200 members of Congress were being treated by a colleague of his using Ivermectin. He refused to name the colleague and never offered any evidence for the claim. His group FLCCC had to withdraw a clinical study paper promoting Ivermectin because of errors with the study.

McCullough- Claimed that the pandemic was planned; the COVID-19 vaccines are experimental; previously infected people have “permanent immunity”; masks don’t work; using three or four doses of vaccine is “wild”; VAERS shows vaccines killed thousands of people, vaccine-induced spike protein causes damage, and Omicron comes from vaccinated people". This article addresses all the other claims that McCullough has made...https://healthfeedback.org/claimreview/joe-rogan-interview-with-peter-mc...

Along with RFK Jr., these four men are not heroes. They have added to the confusion and misinformation about science and facts about viral behavior and vaccines. They have elevated the practice of fear mongering, especially among parents who are trying to sort out what is best for them and their families in the middle of an unprecedented public health disaster. I don't think they are criticized enough.

And before anyone starts in on me about "defending" Fauci.... I think Fauci is a political hack... a partisan political hack, and should not have the power he has been given. His recent attempt to lower the number of days for quarantining demonstrates that he is not giving advice based on science. He should also lose his job (but not be thrown off of twitter- ha!)

As one of my admirers says... Rant now OFF.

@Fishtroller 02 @Fishtroller 02 (edited: added NOT, clarified Brazil's use of ivermectin)
Bangladesh and India (in majority of provinces) have rolled out it's use almost from the beginning. Brazil use has been steadily increasing despite considerable push-back from Gates funded "rigged to fail" studies and negative press saying it doesn't do anything.

covid-vaccinations-vs-covid-death-rate(1)_1.png

How do you explain these graphs? Better health care?

United States 2018 US$10,623.85 per person
Brazil 2018 US$848.39 per person
India 2018 US$72.83 per person
Bangladesh 2018 US$41.91 per person

The three countries doing better are using ivermectin as a prophylaxis instead of letting their people die. Brazil would not have had the huge death rate at the beginning if Gates funded "studies" had NOT temporarily ended ivermectin use in that country. Bolsonaro reversed that. Ivermectin has been completely squashed in the US.

It is apparently OK for someone like Dr. Kory to claim that Ivermectin is a "miracle cure", take the drug and still get sick. It's not OK on The Dose to point out that he was wrong about the science of Ivermectin. It's not OK to point out that the vaccines were made to address a variant of the virus that is no longer dominant. It's a wonder they do as well as they do, but that may change. What doesn't change is drumbeat of stirring up fear about the vaccines that is based upon non-science.

That’s because it is not a true vaccine, but an experimental gene therapy, but big pharma said that no one would have taken them if they called them that. It’s what they call them in their information and no I don’t have a link for the guy from Moderna saying that. It has been posted here before tho. If I see it again I’ll post it. anecdotal, but wanted to share two things.
I vacationed Christmas week to Hawaii. I planned to buy RK's new book about Fauci at an airport bookstore. I checked every bookstore in every airport that I was in (5 of them including return trip) and not one of them had a copy. Despite it being on the top of two bestseller lists. There were books on Fauci written by other authors, a book about Sanjay. But not RK's book. Felt like a form of censorship to me.
2nd anecdote, over vacation discussed the PDF Covid Facts-Points of Consensus with in laws and wife. I forwarded a link to several people. If you open the emails the message jumps around on the page, flashes onto the page and back off. Like nothing I have ever seen before. Makes it nearly impossible to find the link and click on it. Very very weird.

Thanks to everyone here for continuing to share great info!

The people who worked service industry and low wage jobs were made to keep working so the ones who worked white collar jobs could stay safe in their homes and be waited on and not get infected. Yeah who cares if the poor and minority people were snuffed out huh? But now with omicron everyone is getting infected and sick too so that plan didn’t pan out very well did it?

The initial lockdowns had a strong class-based component. The working classes were assigned the job of delivering groceries, tending to the sick, driving the trucks filled with goods, keeping the lights on, and keeping the fuel running. The professional class, among whom were the people who pushed lockdowns in the name of disease avoidance/suppression, were assigned the job of staying home in their pajamas and staying safe.

So it now seems obvious to me. This whole disaster would finally come to an end (or at least the end would begin) when it became obvious that the great strategy of class division and demarcation would fail to protect the Zoom class from infection.

That day has finally arrived, with cases soaring in many parts of the country and hitting everyone of every class, whether they are being “careful” and adhering to the “mitigation measures” or not. What’s even more striking is how even the vaccines, which were supposed to codify the wisdom of class segregation, have not protected against infection.

In other words, millions from among all classes of people are finally getting sick. At this point, we seem to be seeing a big shift in attitudes.

A lot of this comes from casual conversation. A person comes down with Covid, perhaps confirmed by the newly fashionable at-home tests. “Did you get vaccinated?” the person is invariably asked. The answer comes back: yes and boosted. That’s when the chill happens. It appears that nothing can ultimately protect people from this. In which case, it is time we change our tune.

From WaPoo

“Thousands who ‘followed the rules’ are about to get covid. They shouldn’t be ashamed,”

Feeling ashamed about getting covid-19 isn’t healthy or helpful, experts agree…. Remember: You’re not a failure. “Millions of other people have gotten sick,” (Seema) Varma says. “Unfortunately, you’re not alone. You’re not the only one. You’re not the first one to get covid, and you won’t be the last.” And that positive test, she reiterates, “doesn’t make you an irresponsible person.”

So on the piece goes, with a complete flip of the narrative they have long preached: anyone who gets Covid has failed to comply, disregards of Fauci’s advice, probably lives in a Red state, rejects the science, and otherwise bears the mark of selfishness and the desire to put freedom ahead of public health.

Bingo!

Getting Covid has heretofore been part of a human stain, consistent with the very long history of demonization of the diseased and the attempt to attribute sickness to moral sin. This impulse dates back to the ancient world, revived with a ferocity in 2020.

So powerful was this class demarcation that it overrode people’s normal political instincts. The left, long priding itself on its egalitarianism and universal class aspiration, took to the new class system very quickly and easily, as if the betrayal of all political ideals was just fine given the public health emergency. The demand that everyone go along with the experts was something that decades of American political experience had taught us to be gravely mistaken. But in a few fateful months lasting nearly two years, this demand drove out every other consideration. (They got mean too and became more intolerant and of course applauded censorship)

The driving ambition here, though never explicitly stated, was to assign the burden of bearing the disease to the lessers among us. That is a conventional model used in illiberal societies throughout history. The elites who had both granted and benefited from lockdowns took it as axiomatic that they deserved disease purity and health more than those who worked to keep society running. And that scheme seemed to work for a very long time. They stayed home and stayed safe and kept clean while the virus circulated in season after season.

Fascinating! What went wrong here? Everything.

What they attempted in 2020-21 was without precedent in the modern world. It did not finally work, even to achieve the aim of keeping the professional classes disease free. This is perhaps the moment when it all finally comes to an end, not with repudiation but with resignation, acquiescence, and surrender. You can stigmatize anyone but you go too far when we do that to the ruling class elites themselves.

Link

Gee who could have seen this coming? Maybe the doctors who warned against mass vaccinations during the epidemic! Malone, McCollough, Marik and others who have ostracized from society? At least I haven’t heard any of them saying that they told us so, but they were right after all weren’t they.

You know, I never thought I would live to see the day when demands for some immediate medical treatment to tamp down the symptoms of a horrible flu would ever be met with disdain and downright hostility from doctors! Moreover, just using some common sense at-home vitamin and supplement protocols to shore up our health to tamp down those symptoms is met the the same sentiments by seemingly well-meaning people. Ever thought shoring up your immune system would mark you as some conspiracy theorist?
Long before the pandemic was declared, I started taking multivitamins. What on earth is wrong with that?
Over time, I have introduced vitamin D3, zinc, vitamin C, and intend to add melatonin, and all of these are recommended for the autoimmune skin rash I now have, very likely caused by a bout of COVID in 2019 and the first 4 months of 2020.
I either eat some yogurt, or take an oral probiotic.
If I can find magnesium tomorrow, I will also add that.
My dr. is delighted I am on this regimen as long as the chat doesn't steer towards COVID protection reasons, which it was initially not for anything more than aiming for a healthy life, before COVVID was a thought.

You’d think people would be happy to learn that there is something available that could help keep them alive, but even after 70 peer reviewed studies have been done they still discount them because Fauci told them that it doesn’t wor because people shouldn’t take horse paste. But even though Fauci’s regime has killed more people than it’s saved they still accept that he knows what the fck he’s talking about. Seriously if anyone can explain that to me I’d be grateful.

How about masks? Fauci told us that they wouldn’t work for a virus because it’s so small it can pass right through surgical ones. And then for some reason people decided that cloth ones are just as good so they wear them. Not surprising that people still got infected anyway and are still being infected after 2 years of wearing them. I think Brazil that is fining anyone who wears a cloth mask now. It’s all Pelosi wears. Biden too as well as Fauci when he deigns to wear one at all. Speaking of masks:

It is not unreasonable to conclude that surgical and cloth masks, used as they currently are being used (without other forms of PPE protection), have no impact on controlling the transmission of Covid-19 virus. Current evidence implies that face masks can be actually harmful. The body of evidence indicates that face masks are largely ineffective.

I present the masking ‘body of evidence’ below (n=167 studies and pieces of evidence), comprised of comparative effectiveness research as well as related evidence and high-level reporting. To date, the evidence has been stable and clear that masks do not work to control the virus and they can be harmful and especially to children.

People who wear N95 masks get a false sense of security if they aren’t fitted for them which is why hospitals do a yearly fitting for people who need them for working around infectious patients. And if you use it it’s a one and done and you go get fitted for another one. It’s how my hospital worked. Guys who wear beards have trouble finding ones that work.

The great Fauci has had us doing something for 2 years and now that infections are going ballistic it’s still the only thing he’s telling us that we must do. Wear your mask, keep 12 6 feet away from people and if sick stay home 14, 10, 6 days, but get tested negative you don’t need to get tested before you go back to work. Yep. It’s working like a charm.

@on the cusp @on the cusp Hi on the cusp and Lookout. I have been adding things to my regimen, carefully, one by one, now that the 7 months sickness siege from my toxic batch of Pfizer has ended.

The first was zinc a few weeks ago. Which went well. no side effects.

This week Melatonin. The first few nights I noticed that I slept very well but today takes the cake.

The first rays of sun poked thru my window at 7:20 but I said to myself, "I am so comfy, the beds is so warm and cozy, I'll turnover and....."

The next thing I knew it was 9:30.

@Lookout Voting hasn't helped me or anybody I know. And eating the best food regimen I can come up with is far out of financial reach for my closest friends and family. I constantly provide my brother with food.
TPTB are determined we will eat Frosted Flakes, Ramen Noodles, and Mac'n'Cheese. Young cashiers ask me at grocery store check out, "What is this?" I answer, "Broccoli." They can then find it on their price list. I can't count how many times I have had this type of check out event. It just kills my soul.
You are so right about shaking all this off your shoulders, just finding beauty and meaning in nature, in growing food, in loving family, friends, and even strangers.
I had an extremely rare day where I did not have to go to the office, had no client emails to answer, so I spent it mostly on my front porch, watching the birds at the feeder, feeling the rays of the sun, just being happy and satisfied this day with my lot in life.
TPTB can all kiss my ass. I do not admire them, do not consider them clever, much less intelligent, and I will fight to prevent their absolute control of me until I die.
