I think I posted the Convoy presser yesterday. Maybe I posted it elsewhere.
Two observations. First was in regard to the 2 Doctors that Peter McCullough told us about and one's fiery assertions that "Child Vaccination is similar to the Child Sacrifices The Aztec practiced and how those did not work.
Second big point was the excellence of The Convoy Leadership. The Truckers Security Chief is ex-Canadian Military with the bearing and restraint of Joe Rogan. He was very reassuring that The truckers will be shrugging off any excalation the Ottawa PD tries.

Just a short update on our recovery experience from the Omicron variant. A month in, both my wife and I still get bouts of acute skeletal pain about every other week- significantly more than we had before getting the crud, anyway. We are both testing negative again, finally, but both of us are still having episodes of major lower back pain. This is in addition to my completely normal and chronic knee pain as my penance for playing football back in the 70s. It is definitely skeletal and not muscular, for me anyway.
When I get what I think to be a Covid-related knee pain spike, I can deal with it with an extra load of aspirin and ibuprofen, plus maybe 20mg of CBD. Or 30. Or 40. And maybe some THC, 5mg or so. And if it's really bad, an Adult Beverage floater. But if this keeps happening through the spring, it'll finally push me over the edge to deal with a pair of total knee replacements. I've known that I needed them for decades, but I was kinda hoping to keel over before having to go through recovery from yet another knee surgery.
We also seem to have some digestive sequelae around, primarily in that we have both had the most appalling bouts of methane production of our lives. My Gawd, we can both blow each other right out of bed and splat against the wall if we're not careful. That seems to go in about a 2-week cycle as well.
On the other hand, it keeps people from standing near us in lines, so perhaps it isn't all bad. On edit- and I just made another batch of dill pickle bratwurst soup, which actually seems to help damp down the outgassing.
So life continues to be, shall we say, interesting at times.

Good friend of mine had both knees replaced in a one week span and was up walking two days later. Trying to push too hard, I’d have to escort him so he wouldn’t strand himself too far afield. When I relocated he was up to half a mile, less than six weeks after.

Their govt has made these forms of protest illegal. How can you tell the difference between someone taking a nap and someone taking part in a silence protest? How can it be illegal to not go shopping?
During the uprising in Madison I was always amazed at organizers ability to out maneuver LEOs. If only political leadership could build off of this and make some serious in roads on the issues that protestors care about?

Instead of the Home Team explaining to a confused citizenry why the mandates are necessary, we see a coordinated political attack on the personalities driving those trucks. The choice now is clarified. You can believe the authorities are correct in mandating vaccination. Or you can disagree. Call it a scientific debate if you want to, but the question is the same. And if science cannot explain itself to the truck driver's satisfaction, the confrontation continues.

Two observations. First was in regard to the 2 Doctors that Peter McCullough told us about and one's fiery assertions that "Child Vaccination is similar to the Child Sacrifices The Aztec practiced and how those did not work.
Second big point was the excellence of The Convoy Leadership. The Truckers Security Chief is ex-Canadian Military with the bearing and restraint of Joe Rogan. He was very reassuring that The truckers will be shrugging off any excalation the Ottawa PD tries.

Just a short update on our recovery experience from the Omicron variant. A month in, both my wife and I still get bouts of acute skeletal pain about every other week- significantly more than we had before getting the crud, anyway. We are both testing negative again, finally, but both of us are still having episodes of major lower back pain. This is in addition to my completely normal and chronic knee pain as my penance for playing football back in the 70s. It is definitely skeletal and not muscular, for me anyway.
When I get what I think to be a Covid-related knee pain spike, I can deal with it with an extra load of aspirin and ibuprofen, plus maybe 20mg of CBD. Or 30. Or 40. And maybe some THC, 5mg or so. And if it's really bad, an Adult Beverage floater. But if this keeps happening through the spring, it'll finally push me over the edge to deal with a pair of total knee replacements. I've known that I needed them for decades, but I was kinda hoping to keel over before having to go through recovery from yet another knee surgery.
We also seem to have some digestive sequelae around, primarily in that we have both had the most appalling bouts of methane production of our lives. My Gawd, we can both blow each other right out of bed and splat against the wall if we're not careful. That seems to go in about a 2-week cycle as well.
On the other hand, it keeps people from standing near us in lines, so perhaps it isn't all bad. On edit- and I just made another batch of dill pickle bratwurst soup, which actually seems to help damp down the outgassing.
So life continues to be, shall we say, interesting at times.

We have been on a confusing ride for the last two years. My personal frustration has been most acute when facing the whirligig of shifting rationales and contradictory claims like vaccines simultaneously keep you from being infected while also reducing your symptoms when you get infected. Close behind is the weaseling bibble babble that tries to rationalize non sequiturs like that rap with numbers and comparable percentages that do not even try to defend the original lie about preventing infection.
The result of all this science inflected bullshit has been mass confusion and extreme polarization of world views.
The Convoys cut through all the crap and raise one and only one issue -- stop the mandates.
Instead of the Home Team explaining to a confused citizenry why the mandates are necessary, we see a coordinated political attack on the personalities driving those trucks. The choice now is clarified. You can believe the authorities are correct in mandating vaccination. Or you can disagree. Call it a scientific debate if you want to, but the question is the same. And if science cannot explain itself to the truck driver's satisfaction, the confrontation continues.
