Dipshit's (And Capitalist Party USA) Budget is Codified Class Warfare

If this doesn't show that the mask is off for this fuckin' porky capitalist empire, nothing will.
Don't expect the Porky Dems to offer anything other than empty token resistance to this shit because the entire Capitalist Party USA is for it.
The food box SNAP replacement idea is particularly revolting, but not terribly surprising considering how both factions (Or perhaps all three because I include Libertarian market fundies a part of this racket) of the Capitalist Party have shown open hostility to the working poor, disabled and elderly over the last four decades. And as someone who has spent his entire life as two out of three of those, I've lost any ability to care or any will to even fight back precisely because we're ignored. Perhaps some will want to kick me for that, but it's hard to believe in anything when the world constantly punches you down no matter what you do.
And besides, those who are 'fighting' are taking it out on the wrong people, be it women, black or brown people, 'illegal' immagrants, Dipshit Trump himself, all while ignoring the fact that this is end-stage capitalism in action. Then again, since capitalism is the real religion of 'Murica, we aren't allowed to question it in any mannar unless we refer to it as some conspiratorial bullshit like 'Deep State' or 'The Jews' or 'Cultural Marxism'.
I'm sick of this shit.

More on the SNAP box

He brings up good points
Especially, the administrative costs of preparing the boxes and distributing them. But also what I noticed is how nutritionally deficient these boxes would be long term, especially for children and elderly.
I am going to add one more thing. Each time SNAP is cut, it places even more pressure on local charitable programs to make up the difference. The county in NC where I spend a lot of my time has income and poverty levels slightly better than the state wide averages. Even so, nearly 1/4 of the population is served by the local food bank every year. The majority of the people who use the food banks are working families not eligible for SNAP benefits or for whom SNAP falls short of their needs. Contrary to another popular myth, food banks have strict eligibility requirements and limitations on the amount of items each family may take each month. Further, the food banks make up the gap for items such as toiletries, paper products, soap, cleaning items and school supplies. To cut SNAP even further will basically make these already strapped programs even more stretched thin beyond their limits.
This is cruelty personified. More money for bombs to kill people and less money to invest in our own population.

And why is it I am cynical
enough to see Amazon somehow ending up with a large contract for this abomination? Cruelty, pure and simple. And my anger lately with the crowd who voted for this shit over decades knows no bounds - many of them family members. Good for them I no longer interact with them at all.
Edit to add: watching the last now of Jimmy Dore. I used to be one of those Hillbot types, "not realistic." Gawd it's ugly to be reminded of old duped-ness. My friend who had a stroke at 40 put it best: "For many, this system is working for them." They have jobs, homes, decent income, for them it's all OK. Until it isn't. But most don't think about that. I had my own personal wake-ups watching my friend and dealing with my elderly mother. It didn't take me long to wake up though, and even if I had been a Hillbot voter, that primary showed me all I need to know about Democrats. That and books. It is so easy for me to only blame the Repigs too, but I do really resent people who've voted not only consistently, but willingly, against their own interests out of a need to punish others deemed less worthy. My family gave that lip service lots of nice attempts at spin about responsibility, but their cruelty showed. It has shown for a long damned time and they were infected with it as well.

No doubt.
Half of all deliveries go through Amazon at some point.
