May I suggest to Pres. DT that, with the upcoming of release of Chelsea Manning from federal prison, courtesy of Pres. Obama, that Pres. DT continue and enhance this new and positive direction for honest and ethics in government by forming a new Dept. of Whistle-Blowing for the express purpose of protecting the courageous individuals who, being motivated by pure altruism and patriotic devotion to their country, refuse to stand idly by and look the other way when enormous acts of corruption, violations of human rights, and other assorted evils run amok due to the secretive nature of the National Security State?

Rumor has it that USDA employees have been ordered
to release no data to the public. CDC has mysteriously canceled an upcoming conference. EPA employees have had to identify themselves and what they work(ed) on.
SO I do not think there will be transparency and whistle-blowers are probably still enemies of the State.

@riverlover Gawd I hope this is just
Manning's not free yet and I wonder if teh Prez will
find a way to keep that from happening. My cynicism has kicked into high gear.

Not just high gear. But you msy be like me, recuperating.
But now is the time for resistance, and as American, we suck at organized, semi-organized, Resistance.
Be intereased in your neighbors' lives, not activities. Find common ground. Harder than many for me, living in a University Town.
