U.S. Supreme Court rejects challenge to Michigan's emergency manager law
WASHINGTON – The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to take up a case questioning whether Michigan’s emergency manager law violates the rights of local voters by undermining the authority of their elected officials.
The lawsuit was filed by several plaintiffs across Michigan who objected to Gov. Rick Snyder appointing emergency financial managers in Detroit, Flint and other struggling cities and school districts in the state and handing them – not locally elected officials – authority to reorganize finances and local services. The Supreme Court declined to hear the case without comment in its order list this morning.
The decision by the court not to hear the case leaves in place a decision by the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati rejecting the plaintiffs’ claims last year. In that ruling, a three-judge panel found that despite the claims that the emergency manager law violates their rights to due process, there is longstanding precedent that states have “absolute discretion” in allocating powers to their political subdivisions.

Any person or church that doesn't follow his teachings can not be considered Christians. It's this simple.
The C Street Christians said that Jesus didn't mean that "a camel has a better chance of passing through the eye of a needle than a rich man has of entering Heaven".
They along with the Mormon church say that they have to be very rich to enter it. This is especially true for the highest level where Mormon males will become Gawds and get to rule over their own planet. He then decides which of his wives gets to sit beside him.

will give a damn about the decision to allow local agencies to continue allowing polluted water to go untreated. Unless, of course, they live in one of hundreds of small towns and large ones too, with antiquated lead piping.
Now Michiganders can look forward (?) to the governorship of Kid Rock who thinks everybody on welfare is a lazy bum. For his running mate, as lieutenant governor, he might choose Ted Nugent who doesn't believe there should be ANY limitation of semi-automatic weapons, cartridge capacity, etc at all.
