Clinton Foundation ‘Pay to Play’ Model Under Investigation [Infographic]

Just a handy graphic now that someone is looking at some REAL acts of political malfeasance.

Seven documented examples of when payments to the Clintons and their foundation coincided with political favors

The wretch is out beating the bushes for ‘20’ already. (Not the newly-rehabbed-and-now-loved-by-the-‘Left’ Bushes, but the 2020 political bushes where the nomination and votes come from.) It would be soooooo nice to see those two (I demand that she take Slick into exile with jet) sent somewhere where they can’t line their pockets at the expense of innocent people all over the planet.

The Clinton foundation and Hillary's behavior while sec state easily passes the smell test for prosecution under the rico act. She and hubby were obscenely obvious selling private favors from within their public office and the fact that nothing has been done to prosecute them is more a testament to the collapse in the rule of law within the USA. Foreign governments, corporations and people who had problems with the US state department would give money to her foundation and she would intervene for them and who-la their problems would go away. Then they would also hire Bill to give a speech for more $$$,$$$.

The book Clinton Cash has pretty much outlined how they can be prosecuted as well as tons of articles that have been written about what she did during her tenure.

Here is one time that they blatantly got cash after their pay for play

As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

IMG_2878.JPG

**
Whether the donations played any role in the approval of the uranium deal is unknown. But the episode underscores the special ethical challenges presented by the Clinton Foundation, headed by a former president who relied heavily on foreign cash to accumulate $250 million in assets even as his wife helped steer American foreign policy as secretary of state, presiding over decisions with the potential to benefit the foundation’s donors.

**
In a statement, Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign, said no one “has ever produced a shred of evidence supporting the theory that Hillary Clinton ever took action as secretary of state to support the interests of donors to the Clinton Foundation.”

*
Undisclosed Donations
Before Mrs. Clinton could assume her post as secretary of state, the White House demanded that she sign a memorandum of understanding placing limits on the activities of her husband’s foundation. To avoid the perception of conflicts of interest, beyond the ban on foreign government donations, the foundation was required to publicly disclose all contributors.

Guess what? She not only accepted donations while she was SOS she sorta forgot to disclose the money she received during those 4 years on her taxes. And of course she got off scot free.

Amid this influx of Uranium One-connected money, Mr. Clinton was invited to speak in Moscow in June 2010, the same month Rosatom struck its deal for a majority stake in Uranium One.

The $500,000 fee — among Mr. Clinton’s highest — was paid by Renaissance Capital, a Russian investment bank with ties to the Kremlin that has invited world leaders, including Tony Blair, the former British prime minister, to speak at its investor conferences.

Isn't that what has been pushed down our throats for two years whenever people talk about the people in Trump's campaign who are tied to Russia Gate? Why yes, yes that is the accusation that makes them guilty of collusion with Russia.

Huber is supposedly investigating the Clinton foundation as well as the FBI's flubbed investigation into her private email server. I'm not going to hold my breath for something to come from them. Maybe Q will let us know if something is going to come from it.

Just 7 times or just 7 times that can be proven?

More like 107 times. The infographic just documents 7 of the most egregious examples.

I fear, though, that Pricknick is right. Nothing will happen to either of them over this.

Government grants and contributions. Starting in 2010, the Foundation reported on three consecutive IRS tax returns that it received no donations from foreign government sources. It wasn’t as if they didn’t know how to report them. In prior years, the Foundation reported tens of millions of dollars in such donations. But things changed. Upon becoming Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton promised that the Foundation would stop accepting donations from foreign governments. It turns out there were exceptions, and that the Foundation’s tax filings with the IRS were less than transparent.

Government grants – both domestic and foreign – were blank in 2010, 2011, and 2012. The Foundation says it inadvertently included government grants as part of the reporting of all grants. “There is nothing to suggest that the Foundation intended to conceal the receipt of government grants, which we report on our website,” the Foundation states.

Revenue from speeches. Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton all gave speeches in 2010, 2011, and 2012. The money was reported as charitable contributions, but actually, the speech fees were payments for services. That is worth saying again: the speech fees were purely fees-for-services and not donations. What’s more, the Foundation did not send any donor acknowledgement letters to these speech hosts. In fact, it is worth asking whether Ms. Clinton will amend her own taxes too.

Changes to Schedule B. The Foundation admits that there were errors in the amounts of donations and that there were some omissions. Some of these changes led to the listing of additional donors. In several cases, the speech fees were moved from contributions to other income. As a result, there was a decrease to the two percent threshold for reporting on this schedule.

Listing of related entities. The last category of major amendments to the returns is the listing of related entities. As the Clinton Foundation has set up and invested in entities that help it do work on the ground. The amended returns now disclose and reflect these relationships.

Do Clinton Foundation Tax Refilings Cover Up Fraud?

Nothing? How about this: For years, the foundation used a charitable shell in Canada for the purpose of bundling donations from foreign nations and politicians.

That charity, taking advantage of Canada's strict privacy laws, then gave the foreign donations to the U.S.-based Clinton Foundation as one big bundle. Just another major donation to a worthy cause.

But who gave to the Canadian charity? More than 1,000 foreign leaders, national governments and others with reasons to curry favor with former President Bill and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton Foundation claims it only "inadvertently" bundled the foreign donations. It also says it mistakenly counted money received for speeches by the Clintons as "donations" rather than as revenue.

All told, some $20 million in gifts were "amended" by the foundation's refilings. It was also revealed that the foundation raised almost $178 million in 2014, while Hillary was still employed by the foundation.

Riiight! But she got away with not reporting the earnings until she got caught. And just like how she didn't turn in her emails until she got caught and then this nothing happened to her. Is there any reports that she had penalties attached for that 'error'? I'm going to have to guess no.

I'd settle for any felony charges that STUCK.

Remember Al Capone, amice. He spent most of his remaining years in Federal Prisons on a conviction for income tax evasion. The normal punishment for federal income tax evasion is: payment of all amounts due, interest and penalties, a substantial fine, and some years of probation. Capone had to spend most of his remaining years in Federal Prisons on that same charge because the prosecutor, judge and jury, well, knew what he did.

that former presidents (*cough* Obama *cough*) go down too. Not going to happen.

Personally I think our best chance is negligence or incompetence. There isn’t one thing that she’s touched that hasn’t bellied up. She should be charged with ‘gross negligence’ at the very least. Oh wait...

The whole Russiagate thing is and was to distract from the Clinton Russian ties, which were at least as deep and dirty as anybody else's. Whilst we carefully not consider how AIPAC refuses to register as foreign lobbyists and spends millions on candidates for decades, especially against any that have ever been known to like or respect a Palestinian or question Likud's zionism. Certainly the Clinton Foundation has been run and used as a personal slush fund, and Hillary used her influence selling favors for cash to fund it. Certainly it is not about 'the damn emails', it is about mis-handling classified data letting it fall into 'enemy hands', and pay to play being hidden and lied about, by destroying the emails, blackberries, servers, and laptops they were on, as approved and instructed by the FBI. Then there should be some charges for destroying the democratic party and democracy as we knew it. For their greed and egos. Megalomaniacs they are.

disgust-ometer broke this week with the Democratic San Francisco Chronicle killing itself to beautify George Herbert Walker Bush. But the bite that nearly caused me to throw up was the sound of Gentle Cream Puff James Comey saying about his testimony yesterday that, "we're talking again about Hillary Clinton's emails, for heaven's sake..." as if that subject was absurd.

I can't even describe the level of anger that is rising in this country. I hope a lot of it lands on that Cream Puff Lawyer for Lockheed.

@mimi

I found it just invaluable.

You'll know more than 99 percent of all Americans about how they have been betrayed and how they have been shamelessly used to oppress each other, while concealing the truth from themselves.

We live with horrific levels of overt propaganda, a social evil that was once tightly regulated in the US. It is appalling how the American people are treated by their leaders and by the worthless corporate-owned media. Tragically, this sabotage of the American narrative is not illegal. In 2012, Obama wrote an executive order that confers legal immunity on government employees who deliberately deceive the public. Voters are thus rendered too ignorant and uninformed to cast a meaningful vote in a democracy. I notice that this is the ONE executive order that Trump did not overturn.
