Clinton brain rot advancing faster

Yes, indeedy, Miz Clinton aims to lose this election even faster than before--ah, well, that's what dementia does for you. Take this latest genius touch onto her already flailing campaign. Does anybody think that Hillary's calling one-half of Trump's supporters "deplorable" a smart move? I'm looking around the room and not seeing any arms raised.

So now Hillary thinks that emphasizing her previous gaffe is going to do her campaign more good than harm. What, you say, can this be true? Now Hillary has escalated "the basket of deplorables" into the "basket of FUCKING deplorables"? Now don't you think that voter's already incensed by her stupid remark are going to be more endeared to Hillary because she keeps emphasizing the point.

Yes, some people backing Mr. T are deplorable, but Killary has some deplorable characters backing her--Henry Killinger, Negroponte, Kagan and the whole Neo-Con crowd.

I am embarrassed to say that Howard Dean has changed the abbreviation M.D. to Mighty Dumb:

Half might not be the right number, but it ain’t far off,” said former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean, a surrogate for the Clinton campaign. “Should she bash the electorate? Probably not. Is she going to lose votes over it? I doubt it very much.”

So, Howard, what is the correct figure? Is it 41.73%? Or maybe only 38.39%

Hat tip to Jay Elliot: apparently Her Heinous did not start antibiotics until after she collapsed and was spreading germs to political opponents such as a 5 year old girl. Good going, Hillary!

It would not disqualify her to decline the debates.

The future Feminist-in-Chief could merely say that Trump is too disgusting and unAmerican to even talk to, and to debate him would debase American politics and damage the nation's reputation, which is a potential threat to national security.

At the moment, I think Democrats of all stripes would eat that right up. So would the GOP establishment.

There's buzz about this possibility.

YouGov surveyed people across 30 different countries and President Putin was the fastest riser on the list of 3000 world figures, being voted the six most admired man in the world.

She can fudge the format and limit the number, but if Hillary ducks the debates entirely she's toast.

If she was up by as much as she was in August she might be able to pull it off, but with her numbers tanking she can't afford to take the hit. People have been waiting for the Hillary Trump debate all year, and backing out creates a lot more problems than it solves.

I can see the Trump ad now: "How can Hillary say she's ready to serve when when isn't even ready to debate? What more is she hiding? etc. etc."

Ducking the debates will also just keep feeding the health concerns, and IMO Sick Hillary is even more trouble for her than Crooked Hillary.

Two interesting points here"
1. Right eye does not abduct (i.e., deviate away from the midline). The main cause of this is 6th nerve (abducens nerve) paresis, which is extremely common in head trauma but in itself does not indicate brain damage--only isolated 6th cranial nerve injury. Remember she did wear those Fresnel glasses for a few (or more than a few) weeks after her mTBI. With fatigue, it is not unusual for the abduduction to temporarily fail and then resort to a normal appearance.

2. The droopy right eye is definitely not related directly to 6th nerve paresis. It I could see the pupils more clearly (preferably in a darker setting), I might be able to tell about pupillary size. Right now I speculate (after all, with her non-transparent medical record release) that's all we can do. My speculation is that she has Horner's syndrome, a condition in which there is decreased input of the sympathetic nervous system to the affected eye. The hallmark of the syndrome is a droopy upper lid and a constricted pupil. Causes can range from congenital (unlikely, it would have been discovered long ago), carotid artery disease, neck surgery, and brainstem lesions, etc.

You don't get Horner's from the flu/pneumonia/dehydration. She is sick physically.

that one oph thought might be due to 6th nerve paresis. I was referred to a neuro who did a SF EMG and found ... nothing.

Surely, if 6th nerve disease is the cause, that could be immediately diagnosed in the same way?

(the diplopia/polyopia was finally resolved by cataract surgery and a toric implant. Doc had a hunch, and he was right.)

The lies, bullshit, false equivalences, and pandering fear —they are all starting to wear off much too soon! This puts the election outcome into play. This is a great danger for them, and I don't think it can be held back without an extraordinary manufactured tragedy to terrorize the American People into compliance. Would Our Overlords have the nerve to do that? They certainly have the means.

Here are the facts of the terrible reality they are facing:

Donald Trump was the Populist candidate from the right.

He overthrew the Republican Party and sent the GOP and Neocon Establishment running to hide under Hillary's skirts.

Trump won because American voters supported him overwhelmingly with their votes. Despite having 16 competitors in the Primaries — he still walked away with the same level of votes that Hillary did, with only two competitors.

Bernie Sanders came in third, with many fewer votes than Clinton or Trump gathered. (Obvious irregularities were involved. In a better nation, he would have come in with as many votes as Trump did.)

At just five weeks out, the Americans are again becoming immune to the propaganda being pushed. There is not enough time before Election Day to thoroughly bamboozle them again.

Americans overwhelming support an outsider, a populist, for President. We knew this going into the Primaries. The votes demonstrated this. The two Populist candidates won more than half of the Primary votes in a field shared with 19 establishment candidates!

If the American people emerge from their current propaganda coma by Election Day, they will again vote overwhelmingly for the "Populist," just as they did during the Primaries.

You don't have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. I don't know why this election is so complicated for the pundits. It's easy to see what the American people want, even though they are holding their cards close to the chest.

The Greens are aligned to this movement, with a Populist candidate of their own. For this reason, they will win more votes by a greater percentage than ever before.

The Democratic Party Establishment did not make a mistake when they chose Hillary Clinton as their candidate. She was the only hope any of them ever had. If they go down in defeat, the Party will be returned to the American People.

...the Hamptons is not a defensible position. The Hamptons is a very rich area on Long Island that lies on low lying beaches. Very hard to defend a low lying beach. Eventually people are going to come for you.

I love the guy. He has also described austerity in a very succinct phrase...."complete horseshit".

is 'complete horseshit'. It's not that hard for ordinary people to figure out. I've never seen anything like it even on a local level. Putin did it, yeah right. It's insulting. The sad thing is that some people even those who were for Bernie will vote because Trump. Irrational fear when you look at the agenda and policy of the thoroughly owned and rotten Democratic party. the elitist press and courtiers and the pols themselves are so out of touch with the electorate that they end up just pissing people off. Lot's of funny stuff being posted from all ends of the fake political spectrum. Of course The Hairball is unfit for public office but so are the Clinton's.

Literally insult to injury. I don't care which of these insane puppets wins or loses. The story line at this point is ludicrous. What's tragic to me is that the so called progressive pols are out their stumping for the Clinton's and the Democrat's, Bernie included. Their all lying and this is not what democracy looks like. Everybody with an unwashed brain knows it. Maybe I'll write in Putin.

Nah I'm voting for Jill Stein and down ticket for every socialist, Green, or Indie who at least is running on liberal issues. We have a chance to get rid of some of these so called progressive pols that are wrecking the city and state with their blatant corporate crookedness.

What's the point of dwelling on The Mad Bomber's symptoms and illness? It's kind of gross and not really important. She was never fit for office and has always been sick in mind body and spirit. Even if she drops dead they will replace her and the austerity global killing spree for profit and power will continue. Their absurd latest talking point is blaming the millennials for Trump's surge in the polls. Interesting times and who knows maybe the Giant Meteor will win. Meanwhile why not form coalitions and solidarity with all the people who are not buying this obvious partisan farce.

I still think he's in this as a ringer, and now TPTB don't know what the fuck to do about the whole thing, as they never intended Trump to win. His reaction to Hillary's collapse on 9/11 was, IMO, very touching, if the frame you put around it is that he gave a shit about his friend Hillary (not snark).

Other than that? Spot-on, particularly this:

The Greens are aligned to this movement, with a Populist candidate of their own. For this reason, they will win more votes by a greater percentage than ever before.

"…and everything to gain by reacting tenderly toward Hillary." But I'm generally cynical during elections.

I would agree with you, he seemed pretty authentic about it, while much of his base doesn't share his empathy. Hillary has been bashing him as hard as she can since the convention ended. To the point that policy issues are no longer discussed.

I think the Dems would like to avoid policy issues altogether before the election. Trump makes that possible, so to that extent he is providing her cover, whether intentionally or not.

If Americans start to think past the propaganda and analyze why the GOP is threatened by Trump, for example, then she won't be able to hide behind Trump anymore.

IMO, is the possibility that this compromised, lying, and quite ill woman will not be our next President.

I see a real problem with him staying in at this point. Unless the vote counting is rigged to a great degree, the guy will win. Christ, the #HillarysHealth hashtag is still generating regular hits today!

The multiple-stories-in-one-day undermined this whole thing for them, particularly Big Dog's gaffe on CNN that this stuff was a "frequent" occurrence. People are not going to "come around" to their spin this time. Not about such a serious health matter as this.

Rasmussen did a poll a week ago on the importance of candidate health to voters. The results were astonishing but not surprising.

Eighty-five percent (85%) of Democrats agree with 89% of GOP voters and 85% of voters not affiliated with either major party that a candidate’s health is important to their vote ... But only 17% of Democrats think Clinton’s health is a legitimate voter concern. Seventy-two percent (72%) think questions about their candidate’s health are just being raised by her opponents to make her look bad.

Her campaign is not going to survive the 9/11 Faint. Too many lies in too short a time in the couple of days after, and the Spin Machine forcing her off her sickbed is not going to be able to cover it up until November. This is karma coming home to roost....

which, I fear, is a disease that would only be curable by a resounding Trump loss. That's looking less and less likely as the polls narrow down (or spread out, because the "other two" campaigns are slowly gaining at the expense of both Trump and HRC).

The four-way races actually look worse for Her than binary polls. There's a very real, very discontented group out there that, if they ever coalesced around just one candidate and showed up in force on Election Day, could really change the picture.

and reenter the campaign as an independent? He is the only one who could beat Trump and Clinton. Can't for the life of me understand why Sanders and Stein don't work together. Even morally and ethically I think the responsible thing for Sanders to do is running for President again on his own. He has done everything he could to be supportive of the Democrats and Hillary Clinton. But it looks more and more as if that decision was more damaging for the political process than responsible and protective of the voters.

It's a shame. And the whole thing a disaster. Better to have this kind of chaos before election day than having to deal with all the slow motion disasters that will come after the elections.

Why can't Sanders leave his promise to support Clinton behind, and reenter the campaign as an independent?

Putting aside the fact that it's probably too late for him to get on enough ballots as an indie, I suspect very highly that he was told, in no uncertain terms, that was not an option for him.

couldn't every voter at least just writein his name, independent of him running as an independent? Or is that also not possible? What a macabre joke of a voting system this is.

It's rather looks like it's been deliberately set up to disenfranchise as many Americans as possible, doesn't it?

Yes, in the states that allow write-ins, which I don't think all of them do (though I am not sure how many there are).

I want to also say I read somewhere not long ago that Bernie would have had to file in each state to be considered "a vote in the write in section" of a given ballot. I mean, seriously, how about that shit? You have to tell the states that on their write-in section, someone "might" write you in? Jesus, I'd never heard that before, and hope I misunderstood it....

a lot of it is calculation(s) regarding power in the senate. Bernie recognizes that Hillary sycophant, Chuck Schumer, will be the next majority leader. If Bernie had reentered the race as an Independent (or Green) and had lost, he would have lost seniority in the Democratic Party (only corporate Dems can betray the party and not lose seniority, see: Lieberman, Joseph I). As Ranking Member of the Budget Committee and a strong chance to take the chair of the HELP Committee, Bernie was set to lose the ability to make positive change inside the senate.

…he would split the Democratic vote and Donald Trump would win for certain.

I think that window closed for good at the convention.

What the Democrats really needed was a Candidate with coattails to shift the balance of power. Either candidate could have pulled that off, as long as the vote was true. Bernie because he owned the prevailing trend as an Outsider. Hillary because she owned a Party where loyalists are rewarded.

When the election process went crazy and unreliable, all bets were immediately off. Neither Bernie nor Hillary could move forward. The party had sabotaged itself.

Indeed - since Indies are the largest voting group, if they were all/predominately to vote Green, guess which leader of which small-d democratic non-corporate party out of the one running would win the actual Presidential voting. 'No more war', and many of Bernie's other priorities would then still be fought for from the top down, even if no Bernie miracle could be achieved.

The Greens and the Libs are going great guns. Stein is on more ballots than any other Green in history (including Nader).

Right here in my state of WA, the latest polling is:

Clinton: 41
Trump: 32
Johnson: 16
Stein: 7
Undecided: 5

So a quarter of the electorate here is voting for someone else.

The Greens spent all their cash and energy to get on the ballot nationwide - and it took until 60 days before the election. If they can pull in 5% then they can start campaigning right away in 2020 instead of going back to the starting line.

So yeah, the EC is a done deal here, but if Hellery wins without a majority and a decent third party is ready to go next time, that is a big win.
