Its very title suggests otherwise, as the so-called "Syrian Civil War" isn't a "civil war" at all, but a proxy war fought in Syria by representatives of external major powers, and at its roots having precious little to do with the will of the Syrian People at all.
Of course, I could be wrong; I have no acquaintance with the material as I don't do reddit.
A quick examination of the subreddit shows it is mostly a collection of news releases first published elsewhere. I also note with approval that the biases of obviously biased articles are clearly labeled thereon.
Nonetheless, Cat help you if the Hillary drones infesting reddit take an interest; you'll end up facing the same insoluble problem Thumb is now wrestling with!

n like most people don't care about the Syrian war. It's mostly populated by war nerds, new addicts, and people directly impacted by the war. It used to have way more rebel supports before the tide changed. It actually used to be way better, but it's still pretty dam good. You are right about it being a news dump, and rebel supporters and government supporters (especially back in the day) are far more concerned with the actual facts on the ground then cheerleading any one fraction. It plays a vital role in documenting the war, and provides stone cold proof of the US propagating fake news, ex when Russia first entered the war they managed to broker a cease fire, it was soon broken by major offensive by Al Qaeda and the first Coastal devision on Khanser road, we know this for a fact because not only did AQ and the First Coastal Division official media departments announce it in advance, the first Coastal devision video taped it. They video taped it because they are apart of the US TOW program, and are required to record every time they use a TOW, in order to continue receiving TOWs. Every MSM outlet reported that it was the Syrian government who violated the cease fire.
