Happy 4th. I hope everybody is enjoying the holiday.
Went by the Balboa Park rose garden last week with the macro lens. Just like when I was there last month the pick'ns were slim. I hope the lack of bugs is temporary and does not become a permanent condition. On the plus side, I found a Green Lynx spider. It's the first time in six years since I've found one in the garden.

QMS was keeping track of people's contact info, in case of outages and emergencies. But we haven't formalized that or updated the concept in a long time. This is a problem that vexes many long-term online communities. People just disappearing. I think we can do a better job with this Just out of respect for one another. This info does not need to be posted online. It can be managed by one trusted member (and a back-up.)

It doesn't feel natural to me that Snoopy would be so long out of touch in times like these.

Thanks for the close ups. I especially enjoyed the bee at the day spa, with good food and drink in the comfort of a silky rose.

I enjoyed the bluegrass tune, it's beat celebratory, but its lyrics sobering.

What equipment are you using?

I have recently upgraded from a Canon 60D to a 5D, and a few wide angle lenses. The 60D has been a real workhorse for the last 13 years, but it's shortcomings are hindering me. I got the 5D while there are still a few left..last of the DSLR..

I have a new website up, mostly bands in the Seattle area, some artwork. https://blurrypics.art/

I have tried to post pics here in the past.. I don't recall it being easy, LoL. I will have to see if I can post links here from my website..

I clicked on your link to check out your photos and all I got was "Page Not Found". For posting photos here I've found it's easiest to embed the images directly from my flickr page.
As for gear I'm shooting a Nikon Z9. For lenses I have a 105mm macro, 14-24mm, 24-120mm, 100-400mm, 200-500mm, and 180-600mm.
