(BOMBSHELL) The case of Seth Rich's murder (and it's connection to the DNC email leak) has been solved.

No clickbait, no bullshit, just me presenting the result of countless hours of painstakingly researching, connecting dots, and critical thinking/deductive reasoning. Here is the summary of my findings.

https://www.bitchute.com/video/FOPAbcZ97CB1/

Methodology : (For those who research)

I read and watched as much as I could about the case and compiled a list of "claims" that have been made about the case, regardless of how believable or credible I initially found them to be.

I then painstakingly analyzed every claim and piece of evidence I had found and verified them (or debunked them). I listed the verifications and corroboration (or contradictions) for each claim.

Once I had completed the list I compiled a new list of every verifiable, undeniable fact that resulted, and I sat down and honestly examined their implications. I tried to find a reality where all of them could fit together and still be true, one in which not one fact had to be ignored or invalidated to make things fit. I found that there is only one such reality.

The only reality in which all the facts presented here can exist together in harmony is one in which Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails and was murdered for it. It is the one in which our federal intelligence and law enforcement apparatuses knowingly covered this fact up by inventing a Russian Collusion narrative that they later used in an attempt to oust Trump from office. (And to continue the cover up and avoid exposure).

This video is an overview of my conclusions. It uses a video of S. HERSCH describing what he knows as a basis because I found it to be the most accurate and complete account of the truth I could find. In this video I settled for presenting 1 verification per claim. I was often able to find 6 or 7 verifications for some of these claims, but if I went over each in the detail they deserved the video would be half a day long. I could literally write a book presenting it all and logically examining what it all tells us, but no one would read it. I am just a guy who loves his country and wants to expose the crimes of those who do not.

For now, I want other researchers to have access to this information so they can better target their research and possibly build upon my work. This is where it all began. Knowing that the entire Russian Collusion narrative started as a blatant lie to cover up a political murder really makes every subsequent actions the deep state took make perfect sense and is the context everything needs to be examined under.

It has been impossible to get anyone to take me seriously so far, but I won't stop trying. Hopefully this site will help.

I will watch it tomorrow morning and get back to you. Just didn’t want to leave you hanging.

If you have done any reading of this site you will see that most of us questioned the Russia interference story from the git go. If you’re interested in our coverage of it you can put Russia Gate in the search bar on the left and see what we’ve written. But in my opinion the Russia propaganda started before Seth’s death and for lots of reasons.

I’m curious about how you found this site?

But in my opinion the Russia propaganda started before Seth’s death and for lots of reasons.

But it's a fact and not a mere opinion. DNC claim "we wuz hacked" and the "Russians done did it" was published 15 June 2016 in WaPo. As yet we don't know precisely when the Russiagate project began, but it existed before Fusion-GPS was hired by the Clinton team (iirc first week in April 2016). Why would they hire Fusion-GPS at all considering that the shop was on the opposite side of the Magnitsky matter from Clinton etal?

@Marie

Didn’t the republicans first hire Steele to write his dossier and then Hillary’s campaign took it over after Trump won the primary? As for the Magnitsky act didn’t that have something to do Bill Browder and his being wanted in Russia for tax evasion? Good grief there were so many players involved with this Russia Gate farce it’s hard to remember all of them.

Ray McGovern has a article that debunks the scalps for dollars crap from the NYT. I thought it came out to derail the peace talks, but Ray thinks it to derail Durham’s report on the origins of Russia Gate. I’m still reading it.

https://consortiumnews.com/2020/06/29/ray-mcgovern-russiagates-last-gasp/

This is on the house learning 2 1/2 years ago that CrowdStrike found no evidence that Russia did the deed.

House Intelligence Committee documents released Thursday reveal that the committee was told two and half years ago that the FBI had no concrete evidence that Russia hacked Democratic National Committee computers to filch the DNC emails published by WikiLeaks in July 2016.

Ranking Member Mr. [Adam] Schiff: Do you know the date on which the Russians exfiltrated the data from the DNC? … when would that have been?

Mr. Henry: Counsel just reminded me that, as it relates to the DNC, we have indicators that data was exfiltrated from the DNC, but we have no indicators that it was exfiltrated (sic). … There are times when we can see data exfiltrated, and we can say conclusively. But in this case, it appears it was set up to be exfiltrated, but we just don’t have the evidence that says it actually left.

Mr. [Chris] Stewart of Utah: Okay. What about the emails that everyone is so, you know, knowledgeable of? Were there also indicators that they were prepared but not evidence that they actually were exfiltrated?

Mr. Henry: There’s not evidence that they were actually exfiltrated. There’s circumstantial evidence … but no evidence that they were actually exfiltrated. …

How is it that people who go through every page of reports from congress and Mueller didn’t pick up on this damning information that totally destroyed the Russia narrative? They picked through the ones that had been blacked out and then they filled in the blanks to fit what they think they knew, but when all of it comes out they just lost interest?

Here’s an older article that totally debunked we wuz hacked.

https://consortiumnews.com/2020/06/15/ray-mcgovern-how-an-internet-perso...

I’m looking forward to how Rachel Moscow reacts when Durham releases his report. I hope he’s going to be honest with us even if people like Obama get to skate. I’d love to see Strzok get his smirk wiped off his face. Good lord I’ve spent too much time on debunking this crap. But I’m glad that I saw through it from the beginning.

@snoopydawg The Washington Beacon hired Fusion-GPS (iirc September 2015) to dig up dirt on Trump. This effort was to benefit Rubio. Fushion-GPS came up nothing of use by Wash-Beacon and by the first of March 2016 would lose that fat monthly check for oppo-research. So, they pitched continuing their effort to someone on the Clinton/DNC team. (Fusion claims the pitch was made to the attorneys for the HRC campaign. Probably not true.) They were formally hired a month later by the attorneys.

Fusion/Simpson claims that he hired Steele in June 2016 but couldn't recall the date and Steele doesn't dispute that. Vague but so too is why Simpson would have hired Steele.

The Magnitsky Act -- Browder's scam on Congress and the UK Parliament -- was passed in 2012 (when HRC was SoS). What's relevant to our discussion is that the act had serious financial implications for Denis Katsyv In 2015, he hired Rinat Akhmetshin as a lobbyist and Veselnitskaya as his attorney. Rinat and Simpson has some association prior to 2015 and Veselnitskaya hired Simpson to do research on this mess. Based on his research, Simpson was an advocate for his client and that was known before being hired by the HRC team. Noise or relevant? I don't know.

Sergei Skripal was one of Christopher Steele's resources for the preposterous Dirty Dossier. When Skripal was a double agent, his M16 handler was Paul Miller. Later Paul Miller joined with Steele in forming Orbis Business Intelligence. Skripal and his daughter were dosed with Fentanyl not Novachok. They have since disappeared off the face of the earth.

Gives one some idea how big this cover-up is.

@Azazello

I think of Moscow Times as the voice of Kiev c.February 2014 as interpreted by Bellingcat. After the US overthrow of the elected Ukraine government in March 2014, the Moscow Times was utterly transformed. It overflowed with outrageous anti-Russian propaganda trying to cast blame for the downing of MH-17 on to Russia, and established the hallucination that Ukraine was invaded by the Russians, for which there is not yet one shred of photographic or satellite evidence. The publication subsequently moved to the Netherlands.

But it is hard to see Moscow Times as anything other than a counter-intelligence operation — any original reporting is always suspect. That photo of Yulia Skripal, I have it in my files. It was taken before the poisoning incident. The way it is used without a caption in the Moscow Times article is a disinformation 'push' to add a sense of immediacy and authenticity. (Besides, why would cointel publish such devastating doxxing information — unless it is a cover-up for something far worse, god forbid?) While I am predisposed to welcome the information, which comes as a relief, I must remain neutral to its veracity. It would be good to see it in a publication that is not dedicated to Five Eyes propaganda.

Wikipedia, of course, is a CIA-edited publication, but the "Talk" pages are sometimes informative if you catch them before they are wiped clean.

@Pluto's Republic No evidence for it, and it's impossible to track down the original source of the claim. Could be nothing other than internet 'sleuth' chatter among the Pablo Miller obsessives or carefully planted MI-5/6 disinfo without fingerprints. My guess it's the latter because it emerged early when people were struggling for a reason why Russia would have any interest in Skripal. Either way, Skripal would have had nothing to contribute to the Steele dossier as the alleged events in it took place long after Skripal had retired and he wasn't even in Russia at the time. Among his old GRU associates he was presona non grata from the moment he was busted in December 2004.

A plausible consideration is that if Skripal had died and the heat on Steele's dossier increased (as it was doing in March 2018), he could blame it all on Skripal and the public would overlook why Steele had relied on a long-washed up, low level GRU agent.

It is a hodgepodge of fantasy scandals and old myths with new names attached. Skripal was an expert on the unique processes and the infamous corruption inside the KGB GRU. He had instincts and knew things only a Russian insider could know. Paul Miller was a neighbor in Salisbury, where he grew up.

Personally, I always believed that Nellie Orr supplied the modern storylines.

@Pluto's Republic Disagree that Skripal ever had any of the skills/knowledge that you ascribe to him. Even if he once had a smidgen of what you claim, it was woefully outdated by 2016. Skripal was no James Bond (except possibly in his own Walter Mitty mind). His spying for MI-6 consisted of passing over the identities of covert GRU agents, such as himself that were attached to embassies, for cash. Wouldn't have been that much when he was a "walk-in" in Spain, but once back at Moscow headquarters and assigned to personnel, he had access to the whole damn directory. He sold it piecemeal to the Brits and continued doing so after he retired 1999-2000. MI-6 was beginning to become suspicious before Skripal was busted because some of the information was out-of-date.

As the GRU had busted Pablo Miller in 1999-2000 (irrc Latvia), not plausible to me that he could have been running Skripal in the subsequent years without being detected. A Spanish double-agent for Russia exposed Skripal and it was only years later when he was discovered by Spanish 'security.'

...to collect the big bucks. Nellie rewrote every word of it for Fusion GPS, and they got their fee.

It wasn't being written for an Intelligence agency. I read it at the time, and it looked ridiculous and amateurish. I found it impossible to imagine that the FBI or FISA could get past the first page without seeing right through it.

I will never believe for one moment that the DOJ took a document this dumb, seriously.

Unless they were in on the hoax from the very beginning.

I really don't know why the Brits poisoned the Skripals with Fentanyl. Probably a CYA operation.

However, they used the sensationalized event to frame Russia and expel many Russian diplomats from the UK. The UK demanded an explanation and refused to send Russia a sample of the "toxin." Teresa May's screeching histrionics shot her to the top of my disgust list, where she remains to this day. I remain hopeful the Brits didn't just kill the Skripals.

@Pluto's Republic that he tried (very hard) to get several MSM journalists to report sections of it during the campaign. Only surprising that it didn't meet the low standards of those journalists to run with it,

Do we know for a fact that Nellie Ohr rewrote Steele's memos? There's so much CYA and spinning after the fact that it's much too difficult to sort out. For example, did Nellie keep Bruce informed of Steele's reports? If so, wouldn't the later Steele meeting with Bruce be nothing other than to hide Nellie's involvement and Bruce's knowledge throughout the process?

Personally, I don't think the FBI was in on what was a conspiratorial plot to tie Trump to Putin. It was just the passive recipient of multiple reports from various sources that it was duped into acting on. There may have been more than we know about, and to me it appears that it was compartmentalized enough that several actors didn't know about the others. Three were independently engaged in stings on Papadapoulus: Mifsud, Downer, Halper. That's an indication of how little the conspirators had to work with.

IMO not accidental that most of the activities took place abroad. Steele's first contact with the FBI (iirc July 2016) was at the Rome field office. Coordination of the effort would have been very difficult without the active involvement of the CIA and tips etc. from there likely flowed to the FBI.

How close to the center of action was Bruce Ohr? How could someone with the following on his resume have been snookered (and given a pass since then):

In 2014–2016, Bruce Ohr was involved in a wide–ranging [failed] clandestine effort by the U.S. government to recruit Russia's richest men close to Vladimir Putin, such as Oleg Deripaska, as informants for the U.S. government. During this time, Ohr had contacts with the former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, whom he had first met in 2007.

The Carter Page component is so messy that I haven't delved into that aspect. There are so many conflicting interests and toes in this whole thing that I don't expect we'll ever know the full story.

I need to digest them.

As for Nellie, that was one thing that was very transparent. She was hired by Fusion for that purpose. Everyone on the production end of it was in it for the money. I don't know what Hillary was planning to do with it. But at some point, the FBI picked up the tab. I think it grew organically. The only plan was to smear Trump, but some of the players thought it was true. They watch too much TV.

Steele has many Russian sources he was paying. I got the impression they were all retired. I don't know if he really believed it. Maybe his salary was dependent upon him believing it. Toward the end, they were all pitching it to the media or leaking it, trying to get some traction. The FBI used parts of it for FISA warrants in September, but that was cosmetic. Their real spying took place months earlier in New York as part of the Obama administration interference.

Honestly, I have a hard time believing that any of them believed in the Russian collusion, they just wanted to cast that shade on Trumps campaign. They sure didn't want to have to prove it. But again, the money was great, so they faked an investigation. Page testified that she knew there was nothing there for Mueller to discover. Mueller is famous for mounting investigations that are nothing but cover-ups. I think he thought he could pull that off. I give the Mueller Report an F. His citations were circular, and mostly from propaganda media outlets like the NYT and WAPO.

Thanks again for the useful observations.

had called 'coincidence theory', and i'm so long for some zzzzs i was just going to quote w/out evidnce:

but ambassador craig murray has told the same story, both in his dec. 2016 'the CIa’s absence of conviction’ , including:

Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan, who is a close associate of Assange, called the CIA claims “bullshit”, adding: “They are absolutely making it up.”
“I know who leaked them,” Murray said. “I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things.

“If what the CIA are saying is true, and the CIA’s statement refers to people who are known to be linked to the Russian state, they would have arrested someone if it was someone inside the United States.

“America has not been shy about arresting whistleblowers and it’s not been shy about extraditing hackers. They plainly have no knowledge whatsoever.”

but i was glad to discover i'd actually remember this reasonably well: Where They Tell You Not to Look’ 30 Apr, 2018, by craig murray, april 30, 2018

At the very beginning of the of the Skripal incident, the security services blocked by D(SMA) notice any media mention of Pablo Miller and told the media not to look at Orbis and the Steele dossier on Trump, acting immediately to get out their message via trusties in the BBC and Guardian. Gordon Corera, “BBC Security Correspondent”, did not name the source who told him to say this, but helpfully illustrated his tweet with a nice picture of MI6 Headquarters.

MI6’s most important media conduit (after Frank Gardner) is Luke Harding of the Guardian:

A number of people replied to Harding’s tweet to point out that this was demonstrably untrue, and Pablo Miller had listed his employment by Orbis Business Intelligence on his Linkedin profile. That profile had just been deleted, but a google search for “Pablo Miller” plus “Orbis Business Intelligence”, without Linkedin as a search term, brought up Miller’s Linkedin profile as the first result (although there are twelve other Pablo Millers on Linkedin and the search brought up none of them). Plus a 2017 forum discussed Pablo Miller’s Orbis connection and it both cited and linked to his Linkedin entry.

You might think that any journalist worth his salt would want to consider this interesting counter-evidence. But Harding merely tweeted again the blank denials of the security services, without question.

well, that's enough; i rest his case for now.... ; )

@wendy davis hints at things that he doesn't know.

Murray seemed to be on more solid logical ground here:

It never seemed likely to me that the Russians had decided to assassinate an inactive spy who they let out of prison many years ago, over something that happened in Moscow over a decade ago. It seemed even less likely when Boris Johnson claimed intelligence showed this was the result of a decade long novichok programme involving training in secret assassination techniques. Why would they blow all that effort on old Skripal?

Pablo Miller is like the boogeyman for armchair conspiracists. As if MI-6 has but one spy. Once it was known that Steele was behind the dossier it should have been a short hop from there for the conspiracists to tie him to Miller. They didn't. Even as it apparently wasn't a big secret in 2017 that Miller was affiliated with Orbis. Wouldn't be surprising if Miller contribute some garbage to the dossier.

As for Miller having been Skripal's handler for twenty years, doesn't pass my smell test. The only public report of an association between the two came from a not so definitive Russian government claim during or after Skripal's trial that Miller had been his handler. If true and Skriapal revealed that when he sang, why would Russian authorities reveal that? Suspect it was Russian disinfo to confound MI-6.

then dogged, as well. and of course i'm assuming you believe the horowitz report is accurate and honest?

RT had a piece up a couple weeks ago saying that sergei's niece doesn't believe for a minute that he and yulia are in NZ. ‘They’re still at Porton Down’: Skripal’s niece doesn’t trust reports of poisoned ex-spy & daughter moving to New Zealand
7 Jun, 2020

i vaguely recall victoria calling bullshit on the call she'd allegedly received from yulia saying they were both okay. it may have been close to: 'It wasn't her voice'.

and re: smarter (and it's hard not to frame this awkwardly as all giddy-up): i wonder sometimes if intelligence might bring one to believe, rather than to trusts one's instincts as well. murray and jonhstone may be two of julian asangee's staunchest supporter (i'll add stef maurizzi (sp) who aren't on his legal team, so i tend to trust craig's instincts, although i'm often influenced by confirmation bias. oddly enough, i went back to grab his link to the UK news embargo D-notice hyperlink, and found this:

Probable Western Responsibility for Skripal Poisoning 635, 28 Apr, 2018

UPDATE: Stupidly I had forgotten this vital confirmation from Channel 4 News (serial rebel Alex Thomson) of the D Notice in place on mention of Pablo Miller.

Back then I did not realise what I now know, that the person being protected was Pablo Miller, colleague in both MI6 then Orbis Intelligence of Christopher Steele, author of the fabrications of the Trump/Russia golden shower dossier. That the government’s very first act on the poisoning was to ban all media mention of Pablo Miller makes it extremely probable that this whole incident is related to the Trump dossier and that Skripal had worked on it, as I immediately suspected. The most probable cause is that Skripal – who you should remember had traded the names of Russian agents to Britain for cash – had worked on the dossier with Miller but was threatening to expose its lies for cash.

as in: another man who knew to much, or so i take it. craig includes a lonish comment by Clive Ponting, doyen of British whistleblowers, too hard for me to read: italics, no paragraph break...save for:

Addendum

I meant to add that the policeman who ‘just happened’ to be around was almost certainly the special branch ‘minder’ who was keeping Yulia under surveillance. The media are not allowed to mention the existence of a D notice.

@wendy davis My assessment is that it's honest and accurate within the constraints they had no control over. They likely had access to all the relevant electronic and paper documents on file at the DOJ. Doesn't mean that some paper hit a shredder before the IG began its review. The serious constraint was what the witnesses were able to recall and able to tell them. Still, it's a thorough and hard hitting review of DOJ processes and activities on "Russiagate," exhaustively so wrt the FISA warrant applications. The meat is presented in the Executive Summary, the first twenty or so pages. But I'm still reviewing a few sections; so may have more to add later.

wrt Viktoria Skripal - she has no more idea where her uncle and cousin are than you or I. My take on her is that she's honest,well-meaning, and naive. She hasn't seen Sergei since at least 2004, and probably not often in the two decades before then. She and Yulia aren't close which is understandable given the large age difference between the two and not having lived in close proximity to each other during formative years. Anything she thinks she knows is almost exclusively based on what Sergei told in in phone conversations and Sergei is a liar. Considering the source, what Viktoria has said makes for interesting reading. Absent from Viktoria's report is anything about Alexander. Curious since she and Alexander were much closer in age and if there had been close family ties in their early years, she would have first hand knowledge of Alexander.

A D-notice is automatic whenever PM's name surfaces in regard to any current news event. Had anyone spotted and raised the issue of PM's Linkdn Orbis ties prior the the Salisbury incident a D-Notice would have gone out on that. As MI-5/6 were directly involved in the Salisbury incident before the public and media knew that an incident had occurred, they've been manipulating and controlling everything about the incident. My recollection, which could be wrong, is that the D-Notice was issued after there was chatter about the PM link to Orbis (and in real time even I knew that the D-notice referred to PM). (As I mentioned, the alleged PM-Skripal link has been around for years.) My guess is the MI-5/6 wanted the Skripal-PM-Orbis-Steele-dossier chatter out there and a D-notice kept it alive. The reason is quite simple - the day after the event Boris Johnson was screaming that the Russians done did it to the Skripals and yet, there was no reason why GU/FSB would have had any interest in Skripal much less to harm him and his daughter.

I've followed this off and on and believe what occurred is basically as you've presented it.

If Barr ever makes real headway cleaning out the FBI and as the civil suits progress more, maybe a lot more, may be revealed.

I don't know if I have links to or copies, but at one point I read an account by a person claiming to have been on duty in the ER at the hospital Rich was taken to. The doctor (actually, resident, I think) stated that Rich's wounds were not life-threatening - that the main thing he needed was re-sectioning of his intestine which had been damaged by a bullet.

It was not considered something requiring immediate surgery and they cleaned the area and closed off the intestine above and below the damaged area and the resident assumed that they would operate to do the actual repair the next day.

At some point (can't remember the details) Rich's care was taken over by other doctors and staff that normally would have been dealing with him were excluded. The resident was shocked to learn, the following day that Rich had died.

Can't verify the above, or even point you to a source at the moment. Still, though - I assumed for several years after Rich's murder that he died at the scene or on the way to the hospital, and that it was the initial gunshot wounds that killed him. But if the above account is true, he may actually have been killed at the hospital...

Oh, here it is after all - hiding in plain sight:

As well as the info in the video. Also Donna Brazille and the DC mayor were at the hospital. There might be links in some of the earlier work on this that can verify this info but I don't have the time to look through all our work.

And it seems like his case has not been settled or that there is anyone working on it. He died and that was it. But the damning infomation comes from Wikileaks, maybe Hersh because he has since denied that he knew anything about it. But Craig Murray has stated that he was directly involved with getting the information from Seth to Wikileaks.

And damn I really wish if Wikileaks did have a dead mans switch they would pull it before Julian dies in prison. His risk is too high for him to stay in there much longer. F you Obama for going there in the first place.

the cliffs notes on that long (to me) video? i was glad to learn that rod wheeler isn't sheriff david clarke who also investigated rich's murder. oddly enough, both were commentators on fox news earlier.

wish i could remember more of mike whitney's coverage at counterpunch of clarke's investigation, but i've never trusted him since that day. clarke was allegedly going to be trump's choice to head the DHS....

only thing i cold dig up was this page: Twitter gets interesting when Sheriff Clarke notices family of murdered DNC staffer is looking for help, March 23, 2017

While acknowledging that he did not know all the facts of the July 2016 crime that took place in Washington, D.C., at the height of Hillary Clinton’s failed presidential bid, Clarke posed an interesting question, asking if Rich may have been killed “because he knew too much?”

Aaron Rich, the brother of the victim, said on the GoFundMe page the effort will help “keep the investigation active, to seek leads and to follow-up on investigations,” in the quest to “make sure we are doing what we can to aid Washington’s police department.”

Rich stressed that because of “the caustic political environment we find ourselves in today, many people have used my brother’s murder for their own agendas.”

There was a strong reaction to Clarke’s tweet… and it was no surprise that Hillary Clinton’s name came up often. And while speculative, as one user noted, the family deserves to know the truth.

Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter: (this is thee most incendiary one):

@Blue Republic
after the shift changed, a number of police entered Rich's room and prevented others from entering; when they left Rich was dead.
Likely the info came from a post here as my online reading is relatively sparse.

An interview with Seth Rich investigator Rod Wheeler who has been virtually shut down by those that should be the most interested in getting to the truth.

I'll try to watch your video this evening. To my mind, once Julian offer the reward for Seth's murderer that sealed to suspicion to me.

"There will be no end to the troubles of States, or of Humanity itself, until Philosophers become Kings in this world — or until those we now call kings and rulers truly become Philosophers." — Plato

is like an icon of truth for me. From the years of the Vietnam War through today, on a scale of TRUTHFULNESS, my experience is that:

CIA truth = 0% = Zero

Sy Hersh truth = 100% = Reliable

Therefore, I tend to believe him. But I found the audio recording to be somewhat unsure. That Seth was in communication with WikiLeaks seems possible, but that he was the source of the DNC emails attributed to Putin is not clear to me from what Hersh said.

I heard Assange saying Seth was a potential source in the Megyn Kelly clip. So even if Seth was negotiating to offer information to WikiLeaks, and even if he was killed for that, it doesn't prove Putin didn't hack the DNC emails.

What proves Putin didn't hack the DNC emails is that there is no evidence of a hack, not from Shawn Henry, not from CrowdStrike, not from the NSA, not from the FBI. If there were evidence, they would have presented it, and they haven't.

@Linda Wood

It always comes back to that.

What proves Putin didn't hack the DNC emails is that there is no evidence of a hack, not from Shawn Henry, not from CrowdStrike, not from the NSA, not from the FBI. If there were evidence, they would have presented it, and they haven't.

And, of course, the mad hysteria of the US government to suspend or censor all critical thinking in this matter was and is somewhat damning.

Your analysis, in part, reflects the VIPS conclusions.

@Pluto's Republic

Congressional testimony, under oath, that he did not have evidence of a hack is the end of the Russiagate story. The end of the narrative. It's over.

This testimony was given on December 5, 2017 and has been kept secret from the public until several weeks ago. Schiff and the others who heard it and kept it secret have been lying all this time to the press, to the public, and to hearings in Congress.

sy, myself, although he may have gone a bit astray on reporting on bin laden; but that's neither here nor there for these purposes.

but yes, this is from the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, March 13, 2019, consortiumnews.com

“Recent forensic examination of the Wikileaks DNC files shows they were created on 23, 25 and 26 May 2016. (On June 12, Julian Assange announced he had them; WikiLeaks published them on July 22.) We recently discovered that the files reveal a FAT (File Allocation Table) system property. This shows that the data had been transferred to an external storage device, such as a thumb drive, before WikiLeaks posted them.

FAT is a simple file system named for its method of organization, the File Allocation Table. It is used for storage only and is not related to internet transfers like hacking. Were WikiLeaks to have received the DNC files via a hack, the last modified times on the files would be a random mixture of odd-and even-ending numbers.

Why is that important? The evidence lies in the “last modified” time stamps on the Wikileaks files. When a file is stored under the FAT file system the software rounds the time to the nearest even-numbered second. Every single one of the time stamps in the DNC files on WikiLeaks’ site ends in an even number.

We have examined 500 DNC email files stored on the Wikileaks site. All 500 files end in an even number—2, 4, 6, 8 or 0. If those files had been hacked over the Internet, there would be an equal probability of the time stamp ending in an odd number. The random probability that FAT was not used is 1 chance in 2 to the 500th power. Thus, these data show that the DNC emails posted by WikiLeaks went through a storage device, like a thumb drive, and were physically moved before Wikileaks posted the emails on the World Wide Web.

This finding alone is enough to raise reasonable doubts, for example, about Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officers for hacking the DNC emails given to WikiLeaks. A defense attorney could easily use the forensics to argue that someone copied the DNC files to a storage device like a USB thumb drive and got them physically to WikiLeaks — not electronically via a hack.”

as in: a Leak, not a Hack

as far as any hacking being done by foreign powers, most especially blamed on russia, china, and iran, in my ‘CIA Incompetence Led to WikiLeaks’ Vault 7 Publications’ june 20, 2020, i finally bit the bullet (so to speak) ; ) and did some digging; (from slightly helter-skelter comments):

from vault 7:

i followed a few seemingly false trails as the cia program that crates false flags, from Umbrage to Hive…but finally saw Marble in a video. see what you think; i’m quite a luddite.
Marble Framework 31 March, 2017

Today, March 31st 2017, WikiLeaks releases Vault 7 “Marble” — 676 source code files for the CIA’s secret anti-forensic Marble Framework. Marble is used to hamper forensic investigators and anti-virus companies from attributing viruses, trojans and hacking attacks to the CIA.
Marble does this by hiding (“obfuscating”) text fragments used in CIA malware from visual inspection. This is the digital equivalent of a specialized CIA tool to place covers over the english language text on U.S. produced weapons systems before giving them to insurgents secretly backed by the CIA.

Marble forms part of the CIA’s anti-forensics approach and the CIA’s Core Library of malware code. It is “[D]esigned to allow for flexible and easy-to-use obfuscation” as “string obfuscation algorithms (especially those that are unique) are often used to link malware to a specific developer or development shop.”

The Marble source code also includes a deobfuscator to reverse CIA text obfuscation. Combined with the revealed obfuscation techniques, a pattern or signature emerges which can assist forensic investigators attribute previous hacking attacks and viruses to the CIA. Marble was in use at the CIA during 2016. It reached 1.0 in 2015.

The source code shows that Marble has test examples not just in English but also in Chinese, Russian, Korean, Arabic and Farsi. This would permit a forensic attribution double game, for example by pretending that the spoken language of the malware creator was not American English, but Chinese, but then showing attempts to conceal the use of Chinese, drawing forensic investigators even more strongly to the wrong conclusion, — but there are other possibilities, such as hiding fake error messages.

The Marble Framework is used for obfuscation only and does not contain any vulnerabilties or exploits by itself.

Ed Schultz at RT (2027) had mentioned Hive in regard to Kaspersky Lab in moscow, but a former CIA said: Nah, the agents wouldn’t do anything illegal…i’ll go look and see if i can make any sense of Hive.
………………………………………………………………………………………
i looked for Umbrage on the cia vault 7 list
and discovered i’d had to do an internal search. it popped up in several related parts, but it was far beyond my ken, so i bingled externally for it and found:
‘WikiLeaks: CIA hacking group ‘UMBRAGE’ stockpiled techniques from other hackers’, march 2017, usatoday.com

A division of the Central Intelligence Agency stockpiled hacking techniques culled from other hackers, giving the agency the ability to leave behind the “fingerprints” of the outside hackers when it broke into electronic devices, the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks alleges as it released thousands of documents Tuesday.
………………………..
The documents also suggest that one of the agency’s divisions – the Remote Development Branch’s UMBRAGE Group – may have been cataloguing hacking methods from outside hackers, including in Russia, that would have allowed the agency to mask their identity by employing the method during espionage.

“With UMBRAGE and related projects the CIA cannot only increase its total number of attack types, but also misdirect attribution by leaving behind the ‘fingerprints’ of the groups that the attack techniques were stolen from,” Wikileaks said in a statement.

the reasons for his murder, his killer's identity? and why did doug2 never come back?

A new member drops this video and asks us to opine on it, but then doesn’t partake in the discussion raises lots of red flags. So far though no one has opined on the video. But it is a good discussion between those of us who have so darn much or too darn much information rattling around in our heads. I’m looking forward to Durham’s report and hope he is really looking for the truth of what happened with all the players involved. Mueller’s job I think was to just muddle the facts and let people take whatever opinion of it themselves. Mueller knew early on that Russia did not hack the DNC’s computers because CrowdStrike never completed their report and the FBI never even looked at them. It was just another snipe hunt for the rubes.

The Horowitz report is more interesting than the limited internet chatter that I read. Yes, the scope of it is necessarily limited, but within those limits it reveals a DOJ more like Keystone Kops than one would expect. Some pieces are comical.
