Bill Clinton's great advice

Maybe I should start writing essays on "Today's hypocrisy" as opposed to "Today's Humor". I see very little funny in current political news. Maybe I have a shriveling sense of humor (though some might doubt I ever had one). You can't go 24 hours without some monumental bits of hypocrisy. They are so common as to be as grains of sand and therefore ignored due to desensitization.

Now, before I get to the great advice, let us track Bill's career (truncated for sake of space requirements).

Bill Clinton at one year old:

Then as we all know he served (whom?) as president. There are only pictures available of his impeachment proceedings, which I thought not appropriate for his biography here.

After the White House, Bubba became a great philanthropist (his favorite charity of course being himself). Alas, though I tried, I could not find any pictures of Willy giving money to people, yet there were many irrelevant photos of him taking money from people--but we won't go there.

After spouse Killary lost to the worst candidate, besides herself, he vanished from the scene. This aroused considerable speculation about his health and whereabouts. In fact, I have located this photo of reporters trying to elucidate his well-being:

In hushed tones, the reporters asked "is he dead yet?"

After receiving a brief course of treatment with green poultices, he morphed into an elder statesman, from which position he now advises the American people on what they should do. This is a recent picture:

Now here, for the first time in months following the near-drowning of spouse Killary, are his words of advice.

People who claim to want the nation-state are actually trying to have a pan-national movement to institutionalize separatism and division within national borders all over the world...

Many think that George Soros had a hand in writing this, which is untrue, but I digress.

He goes on to state:

It's is a very old story and it always comes down to two things...are we going to live in an us-and-them world, or a world that we make together?

It is my belief that he was seriously mis-quoted. First quote has been corrected:

People are actually trying to have a pan-national movement to eliminate national borders all over the world...

Secondly, we must accept the second part of his advice:

It's is a very old story and it always comes down to one thing...are we going to live in a world that we takeover ?

Bubba does not think Mr. Trump is taking the correct actions in Syria, because there are not enough of our Armed Forces in Syria to rescue their citizens from Assad (or from Sadam or Gaddafi or who remembers all those guys).

I have clear, photographic refutation that Bubba is mis-informed about our troop deployment.

To enhance his goal of getting together, he hopes to invite Mr. Putin to a UNITY talk about Syria, ships and sealing wax, and cabbages and kings. My informants, who of course must be kept secret, tell me that Vladimir Vladimirovich does not want to have a tea party with Bubba or President Trump.

I am told that Mr Putin had a rather graphic response to this call for UNITY:

The one factor that will allow the world to follow its own course, divergent from American hegemony, is Russia's nuclear capability. When in all of history has the major dominant world imperialist power been threatened with total destruction within minutes by the push of a button? Bill Clinton started a very aggressive NATO expansion and is confirmation of Russia's worst fears.

Its not just Russia. China has had a policy of rapid economic growth, and a soft military posture as they saw what happened to the Soviet Union when they played that game with America. About 10 years ago they had the same realization that Russia has had, they had better be able to challenge the US militarily, or be blackmailed, isolated and broken into pieces. China has budgeted $147 billion for the military this year. Corrected for actual purchasing power withing China that's about $245 billion compared to the US $600billion. But the US spends money on a world wide war effort of nearly 1000 foreign bases and somewhere around five active wars, depending on how you count, plus ongoing commitments to veterans of our many wars. China spends its military money on defense at home and preparing to fight in the near abroad. I have no doubt that within a few years China will have total nuclear annihilation capability of the US mainland, and the ability to challenge the US in any regional military opposition. No one should be surprised at this as it is the logical response to the actions of an aggressive hegemon.

Capitalism has always been the rule of the people by the oligarchs. You only have two choices, eliminate them or restrict their power.

Together, Russia and China have superior strategic and tactical nuclear force in place than the United States for both first and second strike by air and sea.

I am so sick of all of them, and I am not alone.

This new poll from Suffolk University illustrates just how that’s possible. Here are the base results of the poll with favorable/unfavorable ratings.

Pence: 47%/35%
Trump: 45%/47%
GOP: 37%/48%
Media: 37%/50%
Dem Party: 36%/52%
Hillary: 35%/55%
Congress: 26%/52%

@dkmich @dkmich then he'll really be making a statement. Bill don't need pussy hats, he prefers the real thing.

Next week, we see BHO doing lay-ups with the 76ers.

Awww, he's so coooooooooooool!

How's this outfit gonna go over with the youngins?

But you may object to this picture of the servile Barack? After all, hasn't he just been the perfect neoliberal who would make all "folks" as poor as they can be--then 99% would be servile.

As was already stated above because he's not Trump, who was not Clinton; because he hasn't publicly done anything awful yet that the media's carrying and because they don't know that Pence's the PsychopathsThatBe's back-up Doomsday weapon, in case the Current Trump of Doom among their approved Weapons of Mass Destruction in current use fail to cover the corporate/billionaire death-wish list in the approved fashion.

To sane people, who would both like to live and to do so in a democracy with such things as human and citizen rights respected, breathable air, drinkable water, safe water, food, products, workplaces and infrastructure one can travel on, to know anything at all about Pence is to not like him, to put it mildly; however, as VP, Pence gets to stay quietly in the background like some monstrous psychopath lurking in the basement unseen until the shadow cast is seen as innocuous and accepted as 'safe. Which I feel actually describes the situation rather well, unfortunately.

While very young, he went to Washington, D.C. where he met JFK and acquired Senator Fulbright as a mentor and benefactor.

He cites JFK and Carroll Quigley as his two biggest influences. Among other things, Carroll Quigley preached the markets benefit when there is little change between one Presidential administration as the next.

He was Al From's pick for first DLC President.

@HenryAWallace When I found out about Quigley, I was horrified.
He's right up there with Milton Friedman as a murderer of the principles of representative government and a livable economy.

Corporate politicians of the Clinton's type don't believe in upholding agreements just because they're on a piece of paper. Look at their history regarding the US Constitution, international and US domestic law...

I prefer the form "TragiComedy" because I am less than subtle than most. Tragicomedy has the advantage of being a legitimate theatrical term. And, including the ironic amongst the various other literary devices is much encouraged. So, break a leg.

Lol - but probably best to specify whose leg, so they don't break those of other people, rather than any of their own.
