Who led America out of economic destruction brought about by far-right greed? A Democratic Socialist.

Who led America and the world when it defeated the Nazis and the fascist dictatorships of the 30s and 40s? A Democratic Socialist.

What single president is most responsible for the prosperity of the common human in the 20th Century? A Democratic Socialist.

Who taught us how to gird ourselves against Fear (and fear mongering)? A Democratic Socialist.

Who created Social Security? A Democratic Socialist.

The Democratic Party is the party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And of course many others. But don’t tell me that America won’t elect a Democratic Socialist, they did 4 times in a row. And don’t tell me that a Democratic Socialist isn’t fit to be Commander-In-Chief. That’s bull.

And don’t tell me that Democratic Socialist policies can’t help the economy. The New Deal did. And the Real Deal will.
