some of your selections bring back the ghosts of
the underground FM stations which grew me up
Geremia and Blues Magoos being a couple of them
the river is deep and wide ..

I have seen them in concert several times since 1970/71, met the drummer who testified for my client, 2010 or so, and I have told the story about my brother being a frequent visitor of the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. La Grange.
Ah haw haw haw haw.
Never heard so much volume and tone, fleshed out music, from 2 guitars and a drum in my life. They sounded like a 5 piece band.
Thanks, joe!

@joe shikspack I faked a cough and cleared my throat, and it came "ah haw haw haw". The judge and bailiff, the drummer on the witness stand, laughed so hard, we had to pause for a few minutes.
Good times!

Hi Joe,

Great stack o' disks as always! Love Bo and B.B.

Duly have the Fandango vinyl here... Saw them a few times back then at that time 74-77. The speaker cabinets they played had Fender type logos across the front of them, but they said "Rio Grande". Of course there ain't no such animal, they were custom made. And seemed a big part of that unique sound they had. Not sure what the heads were, likewise custom I presume. Totally unique sound they had. And sure a lot of it for three dudes in a lil' Ol' band from Texas. Smile

Thanks for the great soundscapes!

@dystopian

glad you dug the tunes!

zz top when i saw them in the late 70's had a bunch of custom-looking gear that i couldn't really identify. they were in their spectacle stage (playing big arenas and stadia) and i never got close enough to really get a good gander at their stuff. i just started cleaning up their rio grande mud album last week, so maybe i'll post that in the next couple of weeks and i've got another bb album cleaned, recorded and ready to go this week.

have a good one!
