We would have been better off without Clinton and Obama. Takes a Democrat to screw a Democrat.

Will try to listen later tonight.

"Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich."--Napoleon

@dkmich used to be carried out with all the process due. Which wasn't much.

Actually, the last major revision of the Immigration Act was in 1995, and that eliminated most of the humanitarian and family unification waivers that had until then been available along with work authorization for Asylum applicants. The changes in Immigration Law also did away with judicial review of most orders handed down by the Immigration Service and Judges.

Note that the solution called for by the Democratic candidates last night was more Immigration Judges at the border. IOW, more deportations with all the process due.

Clinton also involved the US military in interdicting refugees on the high seas, at that time. But, we didn't hear much about that, either.

Not a complaint was heard about immigrants and refugees in the corporate media or the Democratic Party. Interdictions and mass removals were completely bipartisan. We were so much better back then -- and memories are so short and selective.
