Occupy was the first stage and it is not going away. And this guy is so right on the money with every word he said.
Unlike some occupations, the city of Tallahassee Commission decided to allow Occupy Tallahassee stay on a vacant city lot with only one condition and that was Occupy had to provide sanitary facilities on the site (Port-o-lets).
One of the more contentious things during the GA's was that the full time Occupiers had with the problem with homeless people in the Occupy camp who were not participating or contributing to the work of the camp. Because Occupy was supposed to be open to all, we voted to allow the homeless to stay. But what ultimately led to the Occupy Tallahassee disbandment was when one of the homeless people died in the camp.
It is unconscionable that we (society) have billions of dollars to spend on things like wars and tax cuts for those who do not need any more money and yet we cannot find a way to care for our own. Taking care of the homeless is not just a moral issue, but it is good economics too for the rest of us.

children dying on the streets.
While that guy was worrying about their sensitive ears.
AnarchoDad had his priorities right.
I especially liked his farewell - "Marx".
I've never seen the word used that way before.
My only criticism would be that Marx wasn't an anarchist, but I won't hold it against him.
#4 Early on I could hear something to the effect of, "There are children here, sir." Fortunately, AnarchoDad paid that no heed.
@gjohnsit
what he was doing. As someone who worked in local govt. and went to many commission meetings, I can say from experience that this was not his first rodeo. His speech was perfectly timed for maximum impact. And I loved it.

But here in America's Wang (Flawer'Duh), that would be suicide considering the blue beards rule everything down here. It's the main reason we younger folks have nowhere to go in terms of employment, public office, education, etc. There's literally nothing left.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.
Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.
Of course, we can expect retaliation against him, especially because he mentioned he had kids. I hope to god that his house is clean, his kids are not into any sports that cause bruises, and he doesn't have PTSD. All of those are excuses to get the family courts into your life, and that is a particularly hard ankle chain to get off.
Sorry, just the first thoughts that go through my mind, because any time the Army tried to retaliate against me, they went after my kids first. (I can trace 100% of the worst cascading behavioral problems to denied childcare and CPS involvement) Seeing as the child services system is just now getting in the news after I've been dealing with it for years, I hope it's no longer considered a MRA single father issue to bring that up.
Of course, we can expect retaliation against him, especially because he mentioned he had kids.
Just one more reason I thank God/dess I'm childless!
Your elaboration of the same was excellent, and has all the hallmarks of "been there done that" written all over it:

How horrible it is, that merely being a parent is so easily abused by the powers that be to enforce conformance in ways that have nothing to do with the well-faring of those children! And meanwhile, genuine abuses of children keep happening with little impediment!
Grrr!
And he was enlisted as hell.

Funnily enough, if they had a shred of consciousness among them, they wouldn't be doing most of the things they were doing, especially that rat bastard Paul Elam and his ilk.

@The Aspie Corner
There really are times when fathers get screwed by the family courts system, even when the father is the stable one. And, not all mothers are automatically maternal. So yeah, they could have been a legit go-to place for help, but they started spewing verbal and written diarrhea.

Damn right.

the turn is NOW,
all the power to the ones who 'turn'.

It's OUR turn, dammit!
And unlike Her Heinous, we AnarchoSocialists actually have the right to say that!
