kos just said that all you guys and gals
are nothing but enablers of racists getting in power and that Bernies superdelegate coup is motivated by white privileged feelings of entitlement ... or somesuch.
A Sanders superdelegate coup doesn't need to be motivated by racism to be white privilege
I guess someone likes to incite some hot feelings on dailykos and profit from the excitement and the clicks. Unforgivable.
If this were to happen, our party’s voters of color and the woman they back would be nullified in favor of the white male candidate predominantly supported by white men. This doesn’t mean that those pushing for this outcome, or Bernie Sanders himself, are racist. But it does betray a breathtaking amount of white privilege—a willful refusal to see that the policies they are advocating, for the benefit of themselves, would once again disenfranchise communities of color. They’d get the outcome they wanted, so what’s wrong with that?
To be clear, if you are advocating for Bernie’s superdelegate coup, you are not racist. You certainly have an autocratic lack of respect for the will of the voters, but that doesn’t make you racist. But the outcome of that superdelegate coup would absolutely be racist, And sexist.
Nice try, kos.
Try something else tomorrow. May be you read Jonathan Turley and Bruce Fein on Breaking Through Poser ... just for your own benefit. And think about the egg and chicken problem. What came first? Or may be which coup came first? Who violated "due process" first?

Markos is right
I just got back from burning a few crosses and then forcing some random women to wash my KKK sheets.
Because that's what I do in my spare time.
He is giving people a story to believe to
demonize Bernie and his supporters.
Remember in 2008, he said Hillary was a racist darkening the picture of Obama.
All said for effect. Clicks.
Apparently
it is more about keeping Clinton supporters fired up than it is about attacking Sanders supporters. .
There is some academic work on this approach that I will dig up when I get the chance.
“To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize.” -Voltaire
What's he talking about?
I can't understand a thing he writes. I don't know what he believes in.
It's all just clicks and pops. Makes no sense.
The more people I meet, the more I love my cats.
outside the South Bernie is ahead
if I'm reading this correctly, Bernie's pledged delegate count outside the South is 1146 and Hillary's is 1063. That's kind of interesting.
Wonder what its been since the beginning of this year.
Seems like after the initial surge, Sanders has kicked her ass.
Mostly, but that tide has been stemmed
pretty effectively by election fraud and voter purges.

and that's with proven fraudulent state primaries
there were only 2 state with fraud detected at less than 50% probability: NH and OK.
Only 2 southern states were less than 90% fraud: NC and VA. And those were high enough to be suspicioius. See Richard Charnin's recent data.
BTW technical accuracy of optical-scan voting has been calculated to be 99.99%. That's equivalent to 5-sigma on a production line. The machines work, it's the data that's being altered when it's uploaded to central tabulators.
So what we have is the complete opposite. These are machines with error rates at 99.99! That's not 99.99% accuracy, that is the actual error rate! This is obviously deliberate sabotage of the democratic process.
I just don't get it. Why isn't this a major issue for the candidates? Is Richard Charnin the only guy who really gets it?
I am glad Bernie did this. It is better to remove all doubt.

Grimes publically supported a Hillary win
and there were observed vote spikes in Jefferson County that were off the chart.
Recounts were done be the same group who were in control of the first count.
No exit polls, Kentucky was cancelled along with California and NJ.
Votes were internally fractionalized by machine as 100/100 instead of a discrete integer (1). Why? You either vote or you don't. Zero or one. Obviously software is manipulating the final counts.
Stuart Davies is working with MoveOn for funding an exit poll for California.
There are 10 kinds of people.
Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
you mean "2" kinds not "10"
BTW on the subject of discrete integers, the ancient Maya had no clue of fractional arithmetic, they never divided the day into hours, minutes, seconds. Only night and day. Yet they dealt in sufficiently large integers to get a true idea of the solar year at 365.2419355 days.
The largest integer in the Mayan vegisimal system of counting is carved into a well-known stelae at Copan, Honduras. In the hundreds of millions of years. Go figure what that was about. Definitely descended from a culture from outer space, far, far away. You can't make this stuff up out of the blue from living in caves and worshipping spirits in cenotes.
A ratio of 2 sufficiently large integers can approximate any irrational number.

There are even tee shirts sporting the geeky joke. An engineer friend in Germany owns one.
1 0 binary. Remove space. . .10?
Hey, I love corny jokes.
Fascinating stuff about the Maya. I've seen some documentaries about North American Native Americans and wall work that implied aliens, or at least flying objects.
Twelve years of tolerance
for my opinion and for many of those I respected (as well as for those I didn't).
All thrown away for a candidate under FBI investigation, who doesn't really stand for anything except herself and her syndicate and whose sense of entitlement is off the charts.
It seems a no-brainer at this point to guess that Markos didn't have a change of heart so much as a change of income source.
“When there's no fight over programme, the election becomes a casting exercise. Trump's win is the unstoppable consequence of this situation.” - Jean-Luc Melanchon
I don't know. I think tolerance
is easy so long as one being tolerated is not a threat to have an impact. Bernie became a threat. He won. He almost defeated Hillary. He un-demonized the word "socialist," which may be his greatest accomplishment and biggest threat to folks like Kos.
Kos was never left, but tolerated the left on his blog so long as he could keep them in his project of "more or better" Dems. "Better" Dems, however, meant different things to different people.
I think this is Kos ideology.
Sure, Markos has an ideology of that sort.
He didn't, however, really care too much about what was on his blog as long as we didn't promote third party candidates or Republicans. And he didn't seem to care a lot about the Berniecrats, either, until March 1st of this year.
If Markos had been motivated only by ideology I would have thought some of those earlier polls would have raised big red flags for him -- forty-point Clinton leads vanishing in a few weeks and such. But everything was fine over at Orange until March 1st. I'd like to know if Markos received an invite to the Clinton syndicate, or not.
“When there's no fight over programme, the election becomes a casting exercise. Trump's win is the unstoppable consequence of this situation.” - Jean-Luc Melanchon
Good points.
I doubt we'll ever know his motives.
Not Really
If he supported the better part of more and better, he wouldn't have biased the front page toward Clinton for the past year. More and better dems doesn't mean anything. It is just to fool a liberal audience, than use relational peer pressure, and gang censorship to force votes for "not better dems" like Hillary.
Don't understand what you are disagreeing with in my
comment.
His definition of "better" is not our definition.
He claims not to like Hillary but that she will win. He started saying that last year, last summer.
But his "better" usually included many who were not very left.
"Accuse the other side of that which you are guilty."

There's nothing more racist than U.S. imperialism and
Clinton is a champion of it. Those supporting Clinton are supporting a mass murderer. I'm not the only one saying this, there are many and it's true. Obama is a mass murderer, like Kerry, like Bush. It has to be said that way I believe. If we don't say it that way we are excusing heinous crimes against humanity.
The little CIA dude is a racist by supporting a racist, he owns it. Daily Kos owns it. Daily Kos is a racist hate site, always has been really, I've said that many times too. They're far from alone but it is what it is.
This nonsense that because SOME people of color naively or ignorantly support Clinton which makes selecting a white male for the party's candidate racist is as absurd as it gets and made even moreso coming from a racist supporting racist.
distraction
Markos keeps repeating the 'white men is most of Sanders' support' meme, I speculate to distract from the real divide, which is the young vs the old. Clinton has no chance with the new voters or those born after the 60s. That is a huge problem for her and will be very hard to overcome. I am done with Daily Kos. Nothing but an anti-Trump site now - and anti-progressive at the same time.

There. First comment here, and I said it.

Worst gate crasher ever.
Nothing like calling everyone that disagrees with you a racist for refusing to bend to your will. And he's claiming that we're autocratic? He's the guy that literally bans people from his site for refusing to toe the party line. What a joke.
Boy did I call that one
from over a month ago
I'm going to do a victory lap
I was called a right wing Bernie troll on Twitter lol
One person called me a bitch first, then a bastard. Same person. I wanted to tell them to make up their mind.
Another called me a right-wing Bernie troll on a meme with an obese, naked, white guy sitting at a computer, and blocked me. He implied I didn't have enough followers to be legit - which is opposite of reality. Fakes, like #$Hillary buy their bots & shills. But whatever.
Someone at TOP commented once that 'truth is to Hillary supporters as sunlight is to vampires.' Perfectly priceless!
Oh boy the saner Hillary
Oh boy the saner Hillary supporters are starting to panic. Several "serious" posters like Brainwrap are posting vain attempts at compromise as they see the site they have invested so much personal time in go up in flames.
I know it's wrong to laugh about this, but they wouldn't be told when this nonsense kicked in hard last October.
Kos: "support my candidate or you're a racist sexists asshole
rolling around in your white privilege."
This guy couldn't analyze his way out of a paper bag.
I guess the women and people of color who support Bernie don't exist... or something. And all of the white men who support Bernie are rich..or something...
Whatever Kos.
So some rich former Republican gets to tell working class people who they should vote for and insult them and berate them if they don't do as he commands. Wow, that kind of screed should really work out great if his goal is actually to win more votes for Hillary!! Esp the millennials they just love to read how racist and sexist and full of white privilege they are!!
Bet his screed will bring the millennials rushing to his web site also, because we all know that's how the millennials roll, constantly ranting about "white privilege".
Do I need a snark tag? (truth is I know a lot of millennials, most of them people of color and I've never heard any of them ever use the term "white privilege". And esp not where Bernie is concerned.)
Whatever Kos. Hey listen Kos: nobody takes you seriously except the sycophants over there on your ever shrinking and increasingly irrelevant web site.

Never be deceived that the rich will allow you to vote away their wealth.-Lucy Parsons
Markos is slightly more subtle than that
It's more like, "Any attempt to sway the votes that Hillary legally purchased is racist and sexist."
I added a comment there, kind of late in the process, hope
he'll see it. Tried to be the adult in the room.
But first he says (paraphrased), "Clinton has won the nomination. It is over."
Then he says, "For Bern to try to get the supers to vote for him is disenfranchising all those people who voted for Hill."
So I see complete illogic there. Either the votes of supers are good, or the votes of supers are bad because they thwart the will of the people. You can't have it both ways. I tend to agree with Kos that it's the second.
But then, if you believe that, you can't call the election yet! Because neither candidate has 2383 without supers, several states have not yet voted, and to use the supers would be thwarting the will of the people!
So I told him to stop disenfranchising California and the other states that haven't voted yet. And since he doesn't like supers taking over the vote, stop counting them. Just go by pledged delegates.
Like I said, I hope he sees it.

The most radical overthrow of the will of the voters
I've ever heard of was when the Democratic Party cleared the field and Clinton corralled all the super delegates before even declaring her candidacy or before a single vote was cast.
The Democratic Party said "Hey! Here's our candidate. Like it or lump it. Supreme Court. Enjoy President (Bush, Cruz, Christie, Rubio, . . . . . TRUMP)!
" “Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.” FDR "
She is such a weak candidate.
Polls showing Trump winning. Just amazing.
They would rather lose with Hillary than win with Bernie.
But the point is, the Party decided they didn't need their
own voters! We all had to fall obediently in line for the selection made by the insider elites. Who's ever heard of any modern party dissing its own followers that way? Who wants to be part of a party where the voters are dismissed and insulted and where votes are owned, not earned?
" “Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.” FDR "
Kos is selling out to sell
Kos's site which used to be a great forum is turning into all establishment, all the time. I believe he was trying to set up his site for a big $$$ sellout, ala Huffington (but not anywhere near as big).
Kos realized that there is no money in progressives, at least not truck fulls like Oligarchs he is now serving
No Doubt
Hillary's Oligarchs are setting the deal up, for a piece of course
Or maybe he already sold?
It reminds me lately of when your neighborhood restaurant has a new owner but the old owner hangs around to help the transition stage. Meanwhile the overall quality goes down the tubes and all the regulars drift away.
" “Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.” FDR "
Maybe Kos knows something we don't know!
Reading his comments made me think he was overreacting to the idea that Bernie is 'disenfranchising' voters... meaning maybe (if indeed he is in with the Clinton campaign) things on the ground might be changing and leaning towards Sanders... That would explain the hostility in his posts... *hehehe...
Markos: Fuck You. You're a
Markos: Fuck You. You're a worthless piece of conservative enabling shit. That's all you are and all you ever were you CIA fuck.
I'd say it to your face, but I sure as shit won't give your worthless website the hits. Go fuck yourself.
TOS look calmer this morning
Maybe folks have started to realize race baiting on the left will not bring Bernie supporters in for David Brock's big group hug in the fall. Maybe folks woke up and said, "Wait. How can Hillary lose to Donald Freaking Trump!?"
Or maybe kos just has to sleep off his hangover before dropping the next steaming cow pie for human consumption?
