Here's a hopeful video for our morning coffee. Its the 2nd edition of In Transition, a Transition Network video about how Transition projects are changing local communities all over the world. It is a cheerful one-hour with happy people telling their stories of success. More below.
If you enjoyed the video, here are some links to explore.
If you'd like to see a town that has transitioned to resilience, see Totnes, a small market town in Devon, England, the town that created the Transition Town movement:

You mention The Transition Network
in your tags and I went looking and found the Transition Network webpage.
Very user friendly website, which allows you to search for resilience groups by Zip Code, and turned up Columbia Resilience near me.
And, while checking them out that of course lead me to their webpage, and their Facebook page, and then the Transition US Facebook page ...
This is good stuff, the Transition Network is the type of network that needs to be built for the new economy to succeed. Thanks for keeping this stuff in focus. #NotMeUs
You are most welcome, Greywolf. I am glad you found a
nearby Transition group. They are living out a transformation to ever-more resilience as individuals and as a local community. Their stuff is so practical and so uplifting. I hope it brings you much enjoyment, my friend. Thanks for stopping by, eh :=) I'm happy to keep bringing us Transition stuff; the video perked me right up this morning and it's fun to share positive, happy stuff. Best wishes,
