I always thought, despite its drawbacks, Twitter's commitment to free speech of its users was commendable. Sure, no user on a private site is guaranteed the right to say or do whatever they want and can be censored at discretion of the owners/managers. But the recent upgrade to the 'block' feature, as well as more aggressive policing of hate speech, was at least a start for Twitter. After all, reddit/facebook/everyone else has dealt with the same issues, often with crappier results than Twitter. (Facebook is notorious for its slow response to threats and hate speech, not just on FB but instagram as well).

So I was surprised when one of my favorite Sanders accounts on Twitter got suspended. In fact, I can't even find her original account listed as 'suspended' on twitter--it seems to have been removed altogether.

In other news, the hillary crowd keeps calling all allegations of voting mishaps as "conspiracy theory". Apparently the state of Maryland disagrees with that type of thinking:
