Yes, there are people on this world who hate Bernie Sanders' supporters so much that they have posted the "recipe" for this very real, very dangerous and possibly fatal homemade (you can get all the ingredients at Walmart!) explosive device. [WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS IT MAY LEAD TO INJURY OR DEATH]
These are deadly. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO MAKE ONE! They will cause an acidic explosion.
Here's what would actually happen if you made them. The instructions require you to mix a swimming-pool-chlorinating tablet with isopropyl alcohol, then shake the ingredients together inside of a closed bottle. The chemical reaction rapidly generates enough chlorine gas to cause a pressurized explosion in the bottle, releasing the gas into the air.
If the lungs are exposed to enough chlorine gas, it begins to attack the respiratory system and can cause the lungs to fill with fluid until the victim asphyxiates.
Apparently this is being spread around the internet. We need to push back against this crap, whoever created it. Someone needs to do jail time for this kind of crap.

My post makes no mention of who is responsible for the "glow sticks" meme. That you chose to call people out here for making it seem as if we all are doing that is misleading at best. There was one comment I believe that suggested Hillary or her supporters were behind this, hardly a majority of the opinions expressed in the comments.
As for turning Republican, Bernie Sanders is not the one soliciting funds from Republican establishment donors. That would be the other candidate for the Dem nomination.

I will be going to his speech tomorrow in Riverside CA. I have already been to the one in LA last year. This entire genre of home experimentation has been repeatedly debunked because these experiments don't work! The chemical reactions yielding chemoluminescence in glow sticks took decades to research and perfect for industrial consumption. There were reasons the medieval Alchemists did not ever get this technology!
So, not only will these experiments maim, cripple, or kill those stupid enough to perform them, but they will never yield the chemoluminescent glow the experimenter seeks, either!
