Note that this is a complex system and there are non-thermal components, but the trend is clear.

We got no time
We have to make Bernie or Jill President if we want to save the planet from death by incrementalism.
Beware the bullshit factories.
I saw the other day...
That Alaska is having real issues with a lot of its roads. Many were built on top of permafrost. And now that permafrost is melting - which means the roads aren't anchored to anything.
Democrats, we tried to warn you. How is that guilt and shame working out?
We had 4 days in a row in April above 80 degrees. One above 90.
There's only one occurrence before of 2 days in a row higher than 80 in April here in Seattle. Local weather dude has blogged that May 1st is the new June 1st around here so plant your tomatoes. I just received my last piece of my personal carbon reduction initiative, an 18 SEER heat pump to go with my solar array so I can eliminate my gas furnace. TPTB will not address climate change in time. We needed a carbon tax 10 years ago. The peeps are going to have to do this themselves. My thinking is that climate change is going to bring the hammer down in a big way not too long from now and there will be no ignoring it no matter who is president.

The WA peeps are trying!
Have a look at I-732, the carbon tax initiative.

infinite growth and finite resources
as Guy McPherson has often pointed out.
Some kind of ameliorated form of capitalism wouldn't be very effective, and even a full-on social democracy under an embedded green economy would not forestall the mechanical outcomes of all the positive feedback loops, most of which are contributing to an exponential rise in global warming.
Note that I do not view this is as linear graph. I don't see a very straight line here, do you? If it was, we could all just sit back in our sofas and let the mainstream media continue to hypnotize us, like it is no big deal. This graph clearly appears to show an exponential growth in warming, so it really is a big deal.
That's a deal which going to blindside a lot of the millennials who are determined to imitate the foolhardy lifestyle of our generation, even though most of us have been trying like hell to get off this insane economic system which is run by deliberate government ignorance and corruption at all levels.
Global Warming is obviously a myth.
Just look at that graph: Alaskan river ice breakup was completely stable from 1965 to 2013!
