Throwing Bernie To The Hill-Lions

Anyone who spent any time at TOP doesn't need me to explain how harsh those self-appointed superior beings who are With HER have been toward Sanders supporters. It's getting worse now that they are sure She has the nomination locked up.

Brad DeLong, described by Huffington Post author Zach Carter as a "liberal economist" who is also a Clinton supporter, advocates for Hillary to do exactly what She has been frequently accused of: Lie.

The day will come when it will be time to gleefully and comprehensively trash people to be named later for advocating Comintern-scale lying to voters about what our policies are like to do. And it will be important to do so then--because overpromising leads to bad policy decisions, and overpromising is bad long-run politics as well.

But that day is not now. That day will be mid-November.

Comintern-style lying? This from a "liberal" economist? Either Brad DeLong is deluded, or Zach Carter is on Hillary's payroll. To be fair, it appears that Carter is being extreme for effect. He does suggest that Democratic Party leaders need to notice that "the success of [Sanders'] populist message, particularly with young people, shows where the party is heading, whether its leaders like it or not."

As Carter interpreted DeLong's position in his post:

Clinton should consolidate the party’s base by lying to Sanders backers until the election, and then “gleefully trash” them after victory in November.

Like Her predecessor did? Barack Obama lied to Democratic voters both times he ran. He posed as a liberal until the vote count showed he'd won. Then he reverted to being that 1985 moderate Reagan Republican he admitted being to Univision in December 2012. Both times. "Just elect me, and get the hell out of my way while I give America away to the 1%." He'd be able to build his LIEbury if he'd made a better bargain and gotten as much as Hillary has. But that can't happen now. He's history - literally. That was his price for being a Wall St. Stooge - becoming the first non-100% Anglo-Saxon in the White (Man's) House.

Hillary haw already gotten more from Wall St. and the 1% than Obama can ever dream about. Yet Hillary seems determined to drive Sanders supporters away from supporting her in November toward either writing-in Sanders or voting for Dr. Jill Stein. None of Obama's kicks to the curb or the hippie punching have been forgotten. We aren't going to be fooled again just because "It's HER Turn". After all, where else do we have to go if we expect to win? I won't vote for Drumpf, but I can't support someone who clearly hates what I stand for and denigrates me for it.

Sorry, Hill, but when it's clear you are a terrible choice, you aren't going to get my support. You and your pal Drumpf do not deserve to clean up after my dogs at the park. You are so accustomed to wallowing in offal that it wouldn't phase you in the slightest to acquire more.

Maybe defeat will knock some humility into you. I mourn that our nation will greatly suffer no matter which of you neocons gains power.

If enough get out to vote in California. If enough get out to vote in Oregon. If, If, If, . . . Someday I will run out of hope. Well, at least I have the luxury of being able to write in Bernie in the fall.

The important part is by how much. I know many people who are Bernie inclined. They know he will win in California/Oregon. Unfortunately, they think this is a time when they can stay at home and the state will still choose their preferred nominee.

The primaries (unlike the general election) are not about which states win. But by which candidates wins and by how much.

Every Bernie supporter needs to cast their vote for him. We have to take as many pledged delegates as we can from Hillary.

I'm of the opinion that every vote cast in the remaining primaries is going to be an actual selection of the Presidential Winner.

If we have Clinton vs Trump I'm saying toss up (I don't like toss ups. Remember Gore Bush? with the added bonus of a divided Supreme Court I'm running scared on this one)
If we have Clinton vs Kasich (Definitely Clinton)
If we have Sanders vs Kasich (Definitely Sanders, what's a Kasich, these last two were focusing on name recognition alone)
If we have Sander vs Trump (there are more loving people in this country than selfish ones, Sanders wins!)

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.
