Hope more do the same, in solidarity against the restrictive and undemocratic rule of the two party system. This is the year, hopefully, when that all changes.

I will be mailing in my Oregon ballot in the next couple of days. Bernie is expected to win this state even though we have closed primaries. But once my vote is counted I am reregistering as an Independent and will be voting Jill Stein, Pacific Green Party.

If you don't know what you want, you deserve what you get.
"Two" which at times can now be seen as One rooted, the Blue-Red tree. Time to go for a more appropriate Green tree. Seems our system is too much like the corporate version of the old nasty and dictatorial "One party" system we were fed as kids to revile. AKA the USSR, which had their people lined up for bread while the Aparatchiks drove in foreign made limos and had designer jeans shipped in with their western foods and booze.
I removed myself from the Democratic party after it became the DLC/Third Way. Happily Independent, or as we're known in MA "unenrolled" - which confuses newcomers who are Independent into thinking they aren't registered. Good Ole MA.
Please, after switching your registration, be sure to send a copy, or notice, or whatever it is now to the DNC in DC.
It took me literally years to get off their mailing list. Finally called, that didn't help much, then returned mail with all the paper junk I could fit in the envelope, including the stupid "survey" with scalding comments. Takes a while, but SO WORTH IT. Especially NOW before the convention.
Might help them realize how many are leaving the Democratic Party and don't give a hoot ( aren't I polite) about party "unity."
President Sanders
Seriously, I'm with you. We left the Dem Party after they scr*wed over Governor Dean--having been lifelong, or yellow dog Dems.
And I'm definitely not holding my breath that another Bernie will come along, any time soon.

In ancient Japanese
Blue and green were both represented by the same word, ao.
Aomatsu means green tree, Aozora means blue sky.
prog - weirdo | dog - woof
sent in paperwork to NY Board of Elections
a few days ago to take myself off as Dem.
I am now "unafilliated."

This actually might be the Green Party's time
This is the time for a party who's main platform is saving the Earth from human-caused destruction and who's name symbolizes nature.
Beware the bullshit factories.
