The Sanders Campaign should ask for an independent audit of the NY vote

Given the wide discrepancy between the exit poll (52-48) and the New York vote results (58-42) I think the Sanders campaign should ask for an independent audit of the vote if the discrepancy cannot be explained. The discrepancy is way out of the margin of error and is estimated at less than 1 in 125,000 to have happened by random chance. If the audit shows a significant miscount of the vote, the campaign should call for a federal investigation of election fraud and a full recount of the vote.

Good suggestion
How does that tie in with the audits/investigations that other officials have started?
The coverup is underway
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (who endorsed Clinton) expressed outrage over the Brooklyn voter suppression and promised an "investigation".
So then what happens...

You forgot
IO, AZ, and IL. This election has laid bare the corruption they call free and fair elections.

NC (voter restrictions),
And weren't there some issues in FL also?
Nothing that didn't already get swept under a rug somewhere
no doubt.
I went to early vote and the woman handed me a "ballot" that she'd printed out on a freaking office copier. Now how does that work? My recollection is they use special paper for those optical scanners, but when I brought it up, I was, for all intents and purposes, hustled out the door before I could make a stink. That wasn't even necessary for the obvious reasons--there were no other voters in there when I went in, and I was by myself--so I have to go with the next obvious, which was "if I'm outside, I'm not inside, continuing to question this obvious bullshit".

So they document the flip of votes from Sanders to Clinton, and they maintain the official count? We probably won IL and it was stolen.

I was one of the many in Brooklyn
who were kicked off the active list of the Democratic Party. I was given wrong information by the City's Election Board about my right to a court order vote, and I was also misdirected to two different polling sites -- both of them a change from my usual district. My students also reported similar horrors: conflicting directions on how to fill out a provisional ballot, wrong registrations and, in my case, assurances that my paper ballot would indeed be counted. I know that New York elections are famously screwed up, but I've never seen anything like the mess in Brooklyn in my life. And we will probably never know the actual count. They are indeed political cowards for suppressing and undermining the vote.
Never in a million years will i vote for her. Never
ever. Just cannot do it.

By the way: Thanks to c99!
I'm very grateful to have found this place, especially during the farce that the Democrats have made of this year's primary. I was a longtime lurker at TOP until the Thought Police took over. c99 has been a life-line to actual Progressives who share a common concern for all of us, not simply some of us. Much gratitude!
We are glad to have you here. eom.
