Friday Night Photos Oregon Road Trip Edition pt2
Happy Friday everyone. Photos, memes, music, videos, or what ever else you've come across that helps take you out of the gloom, post it and help take us out of the gloom too.
When I left for Oregon earlier in the month, gas was $5.99. When I returned 5 days later the price had dropped to $5.79 where it's remained. Some prices from this weeks visit to the grocery store, 1 doz jumbo eggs $6.99, ground beef $4.99 a lb, red onion $1.99 a lb, 7 oz Swiss cheese slices $7.49, 8 burrito sized tortillas $5.69. On the weather front, mostly sunny skies this week. Overnight lows in the mid 50s and daytime highs in the upper 70s. Got some rain last night and there's more in the forecast for this weekend. Halloween may be a wet affair for the trick or treaters tomorrow night.
The first 6 photos are from the Cedar Wetlands Preserve, a 45 acre coastal bog. The boardwalk in the first photo extends a 1/2 mile into the bog and ends up at a strange looking cedar tree. The last 7 photos are from Munson Creek Falls. The mushrooms are Sulphur Tuff mushrooms. I was told they are poisonous.

Beautiful, sp!
Piney Woods dwellers have to go elsewhere for fall colors and trails covered with leafy beauty.
Enjoy your family time, and stock up on any camera equipment you need for 3 days, friend!

Hi, otc
It was great getting together with family and friends and a good time was had by all.
All the green from the piney woods was a nice change of pace from all the brown I see around here in San Diego.
