Friday Night Photos Bakers Dozen Edition
Happy Friday everyone. Another week on the third rock from the sun as it spins it's way through the cosmos and TPTB haven't annihilated us yet. I'll take that as a plus. What do you take as a plus this week?
Recently, I received life altering news. No, I don't have a terminal illness (thankfully), and no, on the other side of the ledger I didn't win millions of dollars in the lottery either (no such luck, damn it). No, the life altering news is that I found out I'm not a Baby Boomer. I always thought being born in the mid 50's made me a member of the Baby Boomer generation only to find out not long ago that if you were born between 1954 to 1965 you are not a Baby Boomer, but a member of Generation Jones. What the fuck is Generation Jones?! Now that I'm a member of a different generation does that mean that I should like a whole different type of music and champion different political causes and social issues? I'm so confused. No longer a Boomer and knowing nothing about Gen Jones, I feel like a person without a generation. Oh well, no matter what generation I'm a member of, one thing I know for sure - I still love bacon.

Like you, I really do dislike irresponsible dinosaur owners. My feeling is, if your not going to clean up after your dinosaur, you shouldn't own a dinosaur. But that's just me.

Sorry to hear that you were a recipient of this life altering
news. I had never heard of Generation Jones but since I am a confirmed Boomer I am not going to bother looking it up. If I ever was in the area of the children's pool which is highly unlikey I too would be checking out the scenery but your excellent images will have to do.

I guess being a Boomer means we are now out of touch with the lingo. Of course I had to google what a Jones is, generationally. Now it makes sense. I am a long confirmed member
of Generation Jones, and I am also a Boomer- the two are not mutually exclusive. Gen Jones has its own cachet, with lots of rock and roll. Gen Jones membership is not at all a bad thing. Take heart!
