Thanks for the Junior Brown clip. What a great opportunity to meet him after the show. That is quite the rig he has and plays real well.

Great pick. Otc and I saw him a couple of years ago at Gruene Hall, New Braunfels Texas, near Austin.

It was a great show by a great artist and an icon here in Texas. His wife plays rhythm guitar in the band.

It's not the best video in the world because I had to stand up on a bench a long way from the stage to even see him because of standing room only and I was using my phone to record. Gruene Hall is an iconic venue, the saying among performers is; "You haven't made it until you play Gruene Hall", which has served as a dance hall since 1878, it's the oldest dance hall in Texas.

We got to meet him after the show, he's a cool dude, and that guitar of his is a custom made instrument that's both a standard electric guitar and what's essentially a lap style steel guitar fused together so he can play it in an upright position.

Anyway, you captured their overtures quite well. Call me a wus,
but the adrenalin required to pull-off those feats is beyond my ken.
Prefer to maintain an injury-free body at this point.

I haven’t any photos to add, as my computer has been acting psychotically the past couple of days. I hope it’s not in its last throes. I’m useless on my phone.

I did a little body surfing, skim boarding and boogie boarding when I was younger. Never tried surfing. Nice shots of the rainbow.

It was too much a project for me to get someone to drive me to the beach with the board. Didn't have a car. Alternatively, I always took a bus to Jones Beach to just swim. I compromised and became a body surfer which I became quite good at. Plus little risk of hard collision or pearling. Later I used to swim a km to a mile along the beach depending on my condition for exercise. Didn't get to swim this evening more thunder and rain.

Son in law got these heic files to convert. He uploaded something called imageglass. These pics not great but the rainbows were quite striking at the time. They occur very much in the same place when they appear- in east while the sun is getting ready to set.
