Stocks rise as dollar dips after Trump's walk-back of Greenland threats

NEW YORK/ LONDON, Jan 22 (Reuters) - MSCI's global equities gauge rose on Thursday and the dollar dipped as investors leaned into riskier bets a day after U.S. President Donald Trump dropped tariff threats against eight European countries and ruled out seizing Greenland by force.

So we all can heave a global sigh of relief as Donnie Blowhard sucks this one back in. But never fear, Trump and his Zionists/spooks co-conspirators march on toward their Holy Grail -- Ruling the world!

Personally, I think Trump's blowing hard is an act in and of itself - calling attention to himself. I'm not worried about him starting World War III. Can't do anything about it if he really does push the button down because somebody in some foreign capital called him an asshole. No downside risk in doubting that Trump and his sponsors really are trying to Regime Change Russia and force China back into the 19th Century.

Losing one's handle on objective reality is the universal frustration of our post-reason culture.
