While not as challenging as shooting moving targets there's still a challenge. Like making sure the camera is level both horizontally and vertically and that the sensor plain is parallel to the plain of the subject. You also need to have proper white balance to get accurate colors. Different light sources (incandescent, florescent, LED, natural light) all affect color differently.

Excellent images SP, very well done, and much harder to do than it might seem.

Not sure if my net here (dsl) but it took ten clicks for the log in to respond and a half-dozen to get your threat to open... The system here seems to be powered by an Armadillo on a wheel chasing a fat juicy grub. Maybe everyone here is streaming, I don't know. But I am afraid to try to upload.

I'll see how this goes first...

I have a niece that's very talented at painting, drawing, and makes her living as a tatoo artist.

for the compliment opening this diary. You all's photos have improved to the point where they are camera paintings. Photography is just as legit an art form as fine art. Take it from someone (me) who is a real joke with a camera. My hubster is the opposite: he can do both photography and video. Both your and QMS's relatives were also talented. My best childhood friend, now deceased, was a brilliant fine artist. She could draw anything and work in pencil, colored chalk, oils, etc. I love looking at art, period. I laugh over AI so-called "fine art." Really? The Chardin painting made me chuckle. I've decided I'm not sweating storm season this year. With the greed obsessed troglodytes ruining most governments, it's not worth it. Anywho, take care. Rec'd!!

The expression could have been better. What stood out to me was the odd mix of still life and a nude as the subject matter.

kicked that Pechstein character's butt for giving her that ugly expression, after she did him the favor of posing nude.
