This is Victoria Amelina. Ukrainian writer. She was my friend. Putin killed her. In a pizza parlor. July 2023.
Today, the nazi populist dictator, Trumpolini, he, sneeringly, shit, on her grave.
He will burn. Forever. In all the Hells. That have. Ever. Been.
And.
Beyond.
As Atticus Finch, he knew. Sometimes. Tim Johnson. He needs to be shot. Right. Between the eyes.

I'm sorry for your loss
My grandfather emigrated from the Ukraine around 1900. He being the 3rd son, the small farm went to his brother as his inheritance. He left when the Czar was conscripting Ukrainian peasants to act as cannon fodder in one of Russia's endless conflicts. He attempted to join the US Army in WW1, but was turned away for health reasons. He lost his family back in the Ukraine in the 30's by way of Stalin's manufactured famine.
Putin is evil, and Trump admires him. We're in for a bad time. History is never dead, it lives inside us, handed down through families and colors everything we experience.
So true Snode
"History is never dead, it lives inside us, handed down through families and colors everything we experience."
I've never been quite sure exactly where I would place my heritage, since there seems to have been a fair amount of wandering.
My paternal grandfather came to america from Lithuania in 1905, and my grandmother from Moscow. Both would otherwise have been victims of increasing pogroms. They were only 14 and 15 year-olds who met a few years later in Brooklyn, and married. My maternal grandparents came from Poland around the same time, likely for similar reasons.
