Covid "Mistakes" and the MSM
The worm is turning, just not far enough to get anywhere near something as quaint at the truth.
COVID guidelines caused millions to suffer. Now Fauci admits 'there was no science behind it.'
In his testimony to the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Monday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and former chief medical adviser to President Donald Trump, said the 6-foot social distancing rule, which the CDC originally recommended, had not been backed by a clinical trial. This is despite constant claims that COVID-19 protocols were based on science.
These disclosures are damning and maddening for all of us who had structured our lives around these rules for years. As a result, millions of people suffered needlessly.

The real effect of social distancing − which Fauci basically admitted Monday and in January's testimony was just an educated guess on how to deter COVID-19 − devastated America's economy, small businesses and families. It interrupted the fabric of American life. For what?
The CDC's now-infamous three weeks to "flatten the curve" turned into months for students and families living with the consequences. Here are some.

Anxiety and depression skyrocketed, especially among adolescents and teens. Kids with learning disabilities were completely left behind.
Non-urgent but still important medical diagnoses and exams were halted altogether. (This went for adults, too.) When schools did reconvene, masks were treated as sacrosanct, and kids were forced to eat lunch several feet apart.
Children learning to read and write at the beginning of the pandemic are still behind even now. Never mind that kids rarely showed any adverse effects of COVID-19, let alone died from it.
Personally, I don't worry my head over identifying heroes and villains. I consider that a waste of emotional energy. One thing I know from living 71 years in the USA is that culture --how we live -- evolves. The changes can be and are consciously influenced by individual human beings like billionaires. But some "trends' seem to me to be organic -- growing out of the infinity of interactions among humanity.
Lies work unless they are too ridiculous for people to keep a straight face when repeating them. Thus the Soviet Union disappeared over a three-year span.
I am encouraged by this moving of the goal posts in the right direction.

Remember that Pfizer jabbed the control group to keep people from seeing the dangers of the jab. But because hard working people are doing the studies that Pfizer didn’t do the truth is still coming out.
There were no mistakes.m this had been planned for decades. It’s why so many administrations changed all the rules.
Scientists are concerned that conspiracy theories may die out if they keep coming true at the current alarming rate.

I can’t tell you how angry I
I can’t tell you how angry I am about all this. My son, who just graduated in May, hasn’t been the same since Covid and I wonder if he will ever go back to his old self. The fact that so many lives were ruined and NO ONE is being held accountable is infuriating. Add in that the propaganda was so strong it made me question my own judgment.
If it was easy, everyone would do it.
I try not to indulge it, but I am angry too
I was 68 years old when I quit my job as a union rep, rather than submit to being injected with the alleged vaccine that never prevented the spread of the illness. I had planned on working into my 70s. It was especially galling that my specific duties did not require me to interact with anybody. From the start of the restrictions in March 2020 until the vax mandate took effect on September 1, 2021, I took care of my union representative work via Zoom. The vax mandate grew out of the Covid Agreement with the Motion Picture and TV industry that required our union on-set members to show a vaccine passport in order to work. MY job was to handle TV news photographers and movie publicists and I never went on set.
But the top-down hysteria would not permit nuance.
