"Many of us like to ask ourselves, 'What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?'"
"The answer is you're doing it. Right now"

Loved the footnote at the end of the Wikipedia entry:
Twitch removed Bushnell's livestream due to guideline violations.

We don't have "tip jars"...
you either write an opening comment or you don't.
I'm not following what you're asking.

truth is considered foreign influence, world peace is a threat to national security
OK Cass...
I think I figured out what you're getting at.
When the essay you're writing is in "View" mode and you click the "Save" button below the editor it will publish the comment but not the essay body. If you use the "Publish" button first above the editor that wont happen. It's a common mistake and it happens frequently. I delete the open comment boxes when I see them but I was busy this afternoon and missed this one.
I repeat, to publish without an opening comment use the "Publish" button/link above the text editor when in "View" mode.

I learned the answer what many Americans would have been like in Germany during Hitler. The answer to why people became good Germans was made crystal clear.
Aaron is the 2nd person that burned themselves alive to bring attention to the Gaza holocaust and tried to get it stopped. I don’t know the first person’s name. I never knew it had happened.

It seems they were able to stop publicity of the first one
Or at least that was the report from RBN.

Our Media
While they were able to quiet the first one (in Dallas?), they weren't this one.
However, will he be held up high as the guy in Tunis that supposedly started the Arab Spring?
Not with our media. The Washington Post has found a way to write more about his background growing in a Christian compound (in a negative tone) than on why he did what he did. They talk about how he had compassion for others and all that other non-American Christian stuff. This is obviously unlike true American Christians like Mike Pompeo. Because he is how a true Christian should act...dancing with IDF soldiers upon their return from slaughtering quasi-humans in Gaza.

You've got to go to al Jazeera for that.

Here is a tweet with the blurred video posted with permission from Aaron B's family. But I am not able to copy embed code. And if I click the link without logging into Twitter, it says the tweet doesn't exist.

I got that too
But I posted it last night in the WW if you want to watch it..unless it’s been scrubbed.
It still plays. Caitlin linked to the unblurred video in her latest essay on Aaron. I won’t watch. I heard his screams enough.
