A column for COVID conversations

California has gone way overboard on proposed COVID laws. Chris explains...

California is facing a rash of exceptionally dangerous and poor legislation that I literally cannot understand or abide. The only possible way to understand it compassionately is to see those elected officials proposing it as being swept up in Mass Psychosis.

But compassion is not the same thing as condoning, let alone approving of, such recklessly indifferent ignorance. In this video, I discuss the horrendous slate of California bills with Laura Sextro, CEO and COO of the Unity Project. (Fun fact: I am on the strategic advisory council for the Unity Project.)

I heartily ask everyone to pitch in here. Write letters, make phone calls, and donate to the Unity Project. Why? Because even if you don’t live in California, as goes California, so go other states. If California passes these laws, your state could well be next. This is a battle for the future and soul of our country, individual rights, parental rights, medical freedom and all the rest.

John reviews an article from the BMJ - The illusion of evidence based medicine

Evidence based medicine has been corrupted by corporate interests, failed regulation, and commercialisation of academia, argue these authors

From the notes under the clip...

THE JAPANESE JOURNAL OF ANTIBIOTICS 74―1 61( 61 )
Global trends in clinical studies of ivermectin in COVID-19
Morimasa Yagisawa, Patrick J. Foster, Hideaki Hanaki, Satoshi Ōmura Kitasato University asked Merck & Co., Inc. to conduct clinical trials of ivermectin for COVID-19 in Japan.

This company has priority to submit an application for an expansion of ivermectin’s indications, since the original approval for the manufacture and sale of ivermectin was conferred to it. However, the company said that it had no intention of conducting clinical trials. The release into the public domain of previously confidential pharmaceutical industry documents, valuable insight into the degree to which industry sponsored clinical trials are misrepresented. Until this problem is corrected, evidence based medicine will remain an illusion
Karl Popper

A science of real integrity practitioners are careful not to cling to cherished hypotheses, and take seriously the outcome of the most stringent experiments. This ideal is, however, threatened by corporations, financial interests trump the common good. Medicine is largely dominated by a small number of very large pharmaceutical companies, that compete for market share, but are effectively united in their efforts to expanding that market.

Scientific progress is thwarted by the ownership of data and knowledge because industry suppresses negative trial results, fails to report adverse events, and does not share raw data with the academic research community.

Patients die because of the adverse impact of commercial interests on the research agenda, universities, and regulators. Hierarchical power structures, product loyalty, and public relations propaganda over scientific integrity.

Universities, have adopted a neo-liberal market approach, actively seeking pharmaceutical funding on commercial terms. As a result, university departments become instruments of industry: through company control of the research agenda, and ghostwriting of medical journal articles and continuing medical education, academics become agents for the promotion of commercial products.

The corporate university also compromises the concept of academic leadership. Deans, (proper academics) have in places been replaced with fundraisers and academic managers, who are forced to demonstrate their profitability or show how they can attract corporate sponsors.

In medicine, those who succeed in academia are likely to be key opinion leaders (KOLs in marketing parlance), whose careers can be advanced through the opportunities provided by industry, physicians are selected based on their influence on prescribing habits of other physicians. KOLs are sought out by industry for this influence and for the prestige that their university affiliation brings to the branding of the company’s products. KOLs present results of industry trials at medical conferences and in continuing medical education. Instead of acting as independent, disinterested scientists and critically evaluating a drug’s performance, they become what marketing executives refer to as “product champions.”

While universities fail to correct misrepresentations of the science from such collaborations, critics of industry face rejections from journals, legal threats, and the potential destruction of their careers. This uneven playing field is exactly what concerned Popper when he wrote about Suppression and control of the means of science communication (Popper).

Regulators receive funding from industry, and use industry funded and performed trials to approve drugs, without in most cases seeing the raw data. Drug companies, “mark their own homework”

The other bit of COVID news I have today confirms another of my hypotheses. That is the health of your gut microbiome is a major factor in your response to a COVID infection.

The presentation was dry as toast but worthwhile if you have an interest.

This week's FLCCC Weekly Update is a special episode devoted to gut health and COVID-19 hosted by Betsy Ashton with panel guests Dr. Keith Berkowitz, Dr. Paul Marik, and Dr. Robin Rose. Dr. Robin Rose has been practicing gastroenterology for over 12 years in Fairfield County Connecticut with an emphasis on functional medicine. She is currently an attending physician at Stamford Hospital and double board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Check out Dr. Rose's website here: https://www.terrainhealth.org and the slides from the presentation are here:
https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Gut-Health-an...
/

I found her gut health diet a bit lacking. Healthy fats (ie NOT seed oils) are the way to seal up a leaky gut...butter, lard, coconut oil, olive oil, and so on. I would additionally recommend fatty meats with the leafy greens which she recommends. Of course that includes dropping grains and most starches. YMMV

So, do you have any COVID news?

promoting more war and selling gas in Europe.

Hard to believe, but I think Trump was a better president, bad as he was (and may be again?).

Hope you got to the bottom of your chore list. I'm sure that like mine, it has no real end.

Why Anger towards the Unvaccinated was Intentional Psychological Manipulation

As the first wave of the pandemic died down in 2020, the narrative was already being pushed that vaccines were the only way out. However, even before it was clear that the vaccines would predominantly be mRNA based, many were rightly hesitant to receive a novel vaccine that had been produced at warp speed.

Something had to be done about vaccine hesitancy, so along came Yale University with a study which began in July 2020. The study, which was not published online until October 2021 (once everyone was vaccinated) was to test “how persuasive messaging affects COVID-19 vaccine uptake intentions”.

The wording throughout this study is almost identical to that used over the last few years.

“Safe and effective”

“Getting vaccinated is the single best way to protect yourself”

“Reduces the risk that members of your family could get sick and die”

“How guilty would you feel?”

“How embarrassed and ashamed would you feel?”

“How angry would you be?”

“People who don’t get vaccinated aren’t brave but reckless”

“There is nothing attractive and independent minded about ignoring public health guidance”

“You risk the health of others”

“Trust the Science”

“People who reject vaccination are ignorant or confused about the science”

“Not getting vaccinated means you are probably the sort of person who doesn’t understand science”

“It reduces the chance of lockdowns”

How many times did you hear someone parrot one or more of the lines above almost word for word?

You may have naively believed that the fear, pressure and psychological toll of the pandemic caused your friends, family or colleagues to act in an unrecognisable way but it was all carefully planned. They conducted a study (and I’m sure this wasn’t the only one) to see which pressure points would work best on different parts of the population and then carefully released mountains of propaganda (funded by you) to turn your friends and family against you. This nudging was all done to get you to take a vaccine you decided you didn’t want.

The ethics statement in the study says the experiments conducted were fielded under an exemption granted by the University. It’s not difficult to understand why.

Just more psychological manipulation to make people toe the line or else! How many kids think that they killed their grandparents even though they couldn’t get jabbed at the time? What a horrible thing to hang on them.

Interesting discussion on why or how did so many people fall for the manipulation when they saw through other attempts before.

Thanks for the link and btw they're pushing a 4th booster. Baa, Baa, poor sheeple.

There was a poll from Canada that was posted here last week that showed which group wanted to destroy Russia because of Ukraine and those who understand why Russia did what they did. The jabbed group wanted it destroyed but the unjabbed understood the conflict. it’s just a continuation of Russia Russia Trump bad gate.

Similar related. Most people here saw through Russia gate and understood that it was Hillary that made it up and that one reason why she did was to cover up what she, Obama, Biden and democrats
had been doing with Russia first and then in Ukraine. The corruption was enormous. All 3 of them made lots of money working with Russia before they said they were our enemy again. This is fascinating.

https://justthenews.com/accountability/russia-and-ukraine-scandals/thuru...

I and a few others wrote about that not long after we arrived here. Gosh we have covered so many things that I’ve forgotten about them, but this reminded me. And remember what we were writing about just as Covid started up. First thing was the amount of money congress sent to their donors…

@Lookout It is good to have sites like this that challenge mainstream conventional wisdom. I am afraid most people don't have a daily source that challenges "the narrative". People would be so much better off if they had even one source that challenged the narrative that they engaged with on a daily basis. One dose of Caitlin Johnstone, one dose of Jimmy Dore, one dose of Max or Aaron. One dose of Dr Campbell.
I have friends that when they need to confirm that the NYT is still accurate will read The Atlantic. And to be super duper sure they read The Wall Street Journal, just to hear "the other side".
I find that I only engage now with the challengers of the narrative.

This community does have good instincts...

.
In fact, many individuals here have moved on to extraordinary levels of disciplined fact-checking. I don't mention it, but this is huge!

And even so, there is wide space for speculation and idea creation, and hypotheses. Because we all know the difference! And we value both states of mind. The government pressure on killing creative thinking and curiosity is enormous. They can censor us at-will, just as they can slow-murder Julian Assange and dangle him in our faces. If we lose this battle — and chances are, we will — the US will become a nation of dopes. By rule of law. There will be no place to hide from the thought police. All of us have already been "located" by the online army. We are on the threshold of a probable future where one must kill one's instincts to stay safe and protect loved ones. (We will know our fate soon enough.)

Admittedly, I am super critical of American Gullibility and Stupid Speak — almost to the point of PTSD. It has taken YEARS for society to get up-to-speed on US false flag attacks in our Middle East atrocity — let alone to understand the 'Russia, Russia, Russia' attacks designed to damage American minds and impair critical thinking and logic. Yes, the back-sliding of weak-minded Americans in recent months has been galling to witness. However, amid the private cells of social stupidity that riddle the US — there are also many permanent pockets of politically neutral, intellectually honest and curious and credible thinking present in the US, independent of corporate/government control. This is a new development. Thinking-capable people are organized and persevering. Currently they are holding their ground; out in the open.

When this site started, there was none of this. There was no place to go.

This site helped build that.

More on the Pfizer information dump. Within 90 days after they were given they saw 1,22e deaths and that should have put a stop to anyone else getting one more. Instead Fauci helped them cover it up and we still wouldn’t know how bad they are if lawyers hadn’t gotten involved.

They killed thousands and maimed millions.

Pfizer’s heinous mRNA injections should have been stopped within 30 days of initial release, but were not as data was hidden. Internal documents forced to be released by a court order now show the depth and damage of the greatest medical conspiracy in the history of the world.
The word conspiracy is fully appropriate because the FDA and CDC helped Pfizer to cover up its crimes and flooded the media with propaganda that deceived the public into taking injections that they knew would cause great harm.

small batch of documents released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in mid-November 2021 revealed that in the first three months of the COVID jab rollout, Pfizer received 42,086 adverse event reports that included 1,223 deaths

> The first really large tranche of Pfizer documents — some 10,000 pages — was released by the FDA March 1, 2022. Included are nine pages of recorded side effects, about 158,000 different health problems in all

> An initial review of case report forms (CRFs) reveal significant data collection errors and anomalies

> Problems included patients entered into the “healthy population” group who were far from healthy; serious adverse event (SAE) numbers that were left blank; sample barcodes that were missing; at least one death of a patient the day before being listed as being at a medical checkup; and second doses that were administered outside the three-week protocol window. There also are questions as to whether participants were properly observed for an adequate amount of time; plus adverse events were listed as “not serious” despite extended hospital stay and much more.

Walensky and Fauci told us over and over that the jabs were safe for pregnant women to take yet Pfizer states that they didn’t test their mRNA shots on them. VAers is reporting almost 4,000 fetal deaths.
