Cognitive Dissonance Edition

Since there has been so little reliable information about what is going on or 'the agenda' many of us searching for some solid ground have been left to speculate. Some of the possibilities are a mixed bag and it's really not clear on examination what the hoped for intentions have been of the spin meisters.

Let me pose a couple of ideas we've all been batting around.

This has the hallmarks of a depopulation event. Bear with me while I put a few thoughts out.

It sure feels like it is. But which groups are the targets? From a population and country level it turns out those getting shots were mostly in northern and relatively affluent countries. Those who had to sort it were the Asian subcontinent, Africa and some of South America, broadly speaking.

Who does it take out? A lot of English-speaking countries: US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, followed by continental Europe.

Which categories of workers and other people are hurt most? In the countries listed above, the poor and low income workers, but also much shifting sand under the feet of engineers and other college-educated 'western' workers and independent small businesses.

Who does it leave? Many people in countries with less infrastructure and more autonomy. Not sure what to make of the way this has played out.

The endgame is about population or people control through passports and social credit scores.

This possibility has more legs it seems to me. The reach of digital tracking and personal digital id and information has reached many more countries world-wide. Again broadly speaking.

But to what end. If the carrying capacity of the planet is many times over what it can handle, is there a plan by some to make it more possible to live within what resources are available?

Some had a grand plan but it was a not well thought out set of events which quickly went off the rails. Somehow this does not escape the possibilities either.

It's helpful to explore scenarios and play them out, to envision what possible intentions were behind all this last few years' of chaos.

Ideas welcome in the discussion. This has been niggling around the edges of my thoughts for a couple of weeks. Thank you for a civil exchange.

making all this happen malevolent or incompetent. But he suggests that if it is incompetence, the outcomes/errors would tend to favor randomness in directions good and bad.

What we see however, is malheureusement, a single direction of dire events herding everyone in a singular set of options.

I admit, he has a point. But from questions posed above, to what end?

ETA: The recent podcast of Bret Weinstein and Dr. Peter McCullough is a level-headed, calm, discussion of the possibilities.

it’s Climate Change. [From a recent James Hansen email posting]

It is helpful to look first at the global picture. China and the United States together are responsible for almost half of global fossil fuel carbon emissions today, with China’s emissions more than double those of the U.S. However, climate change is driven by cumulative historical emissions, for which the U.S. is most responsible.[2]

During the three decades since the 1992 Framework Convention on Climate Change was agreed upon, global carbon emissions have increased about 60 percent. The 26 Conferences of the Parties (COPs) in the past three decades did not even stem emissions growth, let alone achieve the rapid emission reductions that are needed

This bleak reality may be the force behind the machinations behind the authoritarianism being promulgated around the world, and the nagging sense that many have that both the pandemic Plandemic and the recent saber rattling with China and Russia may be the beginning of a global depopulation effort. Those in power are demonstrating a heightened level of panic in their desperate and irrational authoritarian push.

James Hanson then reminds us of Ike’s warning of the danger of the Military - Industrial Complex, (with an additional leg of the ‘complex’ which had been edited out of the speech at the last minute).

The long-recognized underlying problem is the role that money is allowed to play in our democracy. When President Eisenhower was preparing his farewell address, in which he warned the nation of the threat of a growing military-industrial complex, an early draft of the speech described the military-industrial-congressional complex. But Ike backed off. When his brother, Milton, asked about the deletion he replied “It was more than enough to take on the military and private industry. I couldn’t take on the Congress as well.”

@ovals49 have the highest carbon footprint per person compared to the rest of the world.

You have a real point. Maybe that's why it's not the level of education that matters, but the amount per person of planetary resources being used.

Excellent point.

Russia's Putin seeks to stimulate birth rate

President Vladimir Putin has announced a series of plans to increase the number of children being born in Russia from an average birth rate of under 1.5 per woman to 1.7 within four years.

Last year he promised tax breaks for bigger families.

On Wednesday he told parliament "the birth rate is falling again" before pledging state funding for new mothers.

"Maternity capital" has until now only been paid to families with at least two children.

Welfare benefits will also be paid for children aged three to seven in low-income families, and free school meals will be provided for the first four years of school.

Both of these countries have done more to further CO2 amelioration than other countries. Firstly by reductions in the production and use of coal with the intermediate step of replacing them by natural gas and renewable's such as wind and solar. In the near future both are banking on future carbon capture and hydrogen plus atomic energy as a permanent solution. The only thing holding the world back are the corporate energy conglomerates who have held sway for well over a century.

Davos Billionaires Want to Save the Planet… Why Don’t Developing Countries Trust Them?
November 17, 2021 - Matthew Ehret

For the time being, the world’s developing sector is generally not going to accept being sacrificed on the altar of a new Gaia cult managed by a priesthood of Davos billionaires.

A miracle appears to be happening, as the multibillionaires of the World Economic Forum (WEF) appear to have grown consciences.

As if by magic, it appears that these gold collar elites no longer yearn for profit and power as they once had. As COP26 closes up its 12 day annual ceremonies, leading WEF-connected figures like Prince Charles, Jeff Bezos, Mario Draghi, Mark Carney and Klaus Schwab have announced a new system of economics that is based on virtue over profit!

According to the COP26 website, “95 high profile companies from a range of sectors commit to being ‘Nature Positive,’ agreeing to work towards halting and reversing the decline of nature by 2030.”
...
On its website, the IEG stated: “In partnership with the New York Stock Exchange, IEG is providing a word-class platform to list these companies for trading, enabling the conversion of natural assets into financial capital. The NAC’s equity captures the intrinsic and productive value of nature and provides a store of value based on the vital assets that underpin our entire economy and make life on earth possible… In 2021, we began seeking regulatory approval to bring the first natural asset transactions to the capital markets. Our vision is to bring to market hundreds of Natural Asset Companies representing several trillion dollars’ worth of natural assets.”

These new companies will become the stewards of new protected zones across the globe which the UN demands encapsulate 30% of the earth’s surface by 2030 and much more by 2050.
...
The Deeper Imperial Roots of Conservationism

With this vast imperial landgrab in mind, one should not be surprised to discover that the modern conservation movement actually finds its origins not in Greenpeace activists fighting poachers as mythmakers have cooked up, but rather in the bowels of the British Empire. It was this empire that innovated “nature conservation” regions in India during the late 19th century specifically to keep the poor of India under control after having destroyed India’s once powerful textile sector. The practice was applied across India during the greatest density of famines struck southern India in 1876 killing tens of millions. It was amidst this darkness that British Imperial overlords took the opportunity to create “The Imperial Forestry Department’ in 1876 putting two fifths of India’s lands under “protection” and off limits to humans. This ensured no starving subject could use the protected zones which they had relied upon for survival for decades for food, or water.

The Nazi embrace of both Anglo-American funded science of eugenics on the one side and the Reich’s embrace of nature conservationism were also not unconnected. Herman Goring, who served as Minister for German Forests believed in a poisonous worldview that held that: 1) nature is pure and thus good due to its pure unchanging natural order while 2) humanity is impure and thus un-natural due to our aspirations for progress. This dangerous equation resulted in seemingly innocent programs launched by the Fuhrer and Goring to cleans the German ecosystems of all foreign and thus un-natural fauna and flora in order to return the forests of Germany to their supposedly pure pre-industrial states. The worship of nature was an integral part of the new master race and the weeding out of impurities extended itself to human genetics following racial theories advanced by British eugenicists and anthropologists.

Julian Huxley’s New Eugenics Revolution

Upon Hitler’s defeat, the repackaging of eugenics took the form of British Eugenics Society Vice President Julian Huxley’s outline in the founding Manifesto for UNESCO where he said:

“At the moment, it is probable that the indirect effect of civilization is dysgenic instead of eugenic, and in any case it seems likely that the dead weight of genetic stupidity, physical weakness, mental instability and disease proneness, which already exist in the human species will prove too great a burden for real progress to be achieved. Thus even though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it will be important for UNESCO to see that the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care and that the public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that is now unthinkable may at least become thinkable.”
...
The neo-Malthusian revival that these eugenicists would spearhead through the end of the 1960s took the form of a new array of international organizations which incorporated systems analysis, and cybernetics, which aimed to control nation states and ecosystems alike. This took the form of the World Economic Forum’s early embrace of the Club of Rome’s computer models outlined by Aurelio Peccei (and incorporated into Schwab’s second official Davos meeting in 1973). These new models aimed to impose fixed immutable limits to humanity’s growth potential beyond which no technology or scientific discovery could ever penetrate. The fact that these same multibillionaires managing the overhaul of the world economy as it transitioned into a neo-liberal looting operation were simultaneously funding the growth of this new array of “new rights” groups led by a growing armada of non-governmental organizations, ecology protection and human rights groups is not a coincidence.
...
However, for the time being, it is sufficient to note that the world’s developing sector is generally not going to accept being sacrificed on the altar of a new Gaia cult managed by a priesthood of Davos billionaires. Based on the momentum we see being driven by the Greater Eurasian Partnership, the Belt and Road Initiative and ambitions from Latin American and African leaders to finally break free of centuries of imperial manipulation, it is becoming increasingly obvious that COP26’s utopic computer models are increasingly breaking down when confronted with the reality of humanity’s creative power to leap outside of the fixed rules of imperial games when a true crisis moves us into action.

@CB the right idea before with their One Child policy, so it's a puzzle why they now think 1.4 billion Chinese is not enough. Dealing with the issues involving an aging population can be handled separately. Every upside is going to involve some degree of disruption and cost.

Overpopulation of the planet remains the most important factor driving most of the Earth's ills. A worldwide Birthstop/One Child policy is still needed. But through ethical, official and transparent means and not via economic elites meeting in the backrooms of Davos.

that now have lower birthrates than replacement. The US should get there by 2030 - delayed by immigration. India should get there by 2025. The outliers are some of the South American and African countries and even these countries will attain neutral growth by 2050.

One of the largest factors that drive lower birth rates are increased well being. This is in turn is being driven by economic programs like the Greater Eurasian Partnership and the Belt and Road Initiative which have been dramatically increasing standards of living where they have prevailed. The US model of zero-sum trade, like that of the United Kingdom and other European countries, have only served to enrich them and have kept the Global South desperately poor and subservient for the last millennium.

I don't believe that we are restricted to a zero-sum closed system.

Xi and Putin Stand Up for Humanity at Davos: Closed vs Open System Ideologies Clash Again
...
Open vs Closed Systems

While the Great Reset Architects are thoroughly committed to closed operating systems which demand computer models be imposed onto the world guiding a zero-growth policy towards total equilibrium and “entropy”, the multipolar alliance led by Xi and Putin are committed to “open system” thinking.

Where the closed system/unipolar model demands the submission of governments to a totalitarian system of controls of “experts” who are uniquely qualified to control the diminishing rates of return of fixed resources, the open system/multipolar model demands a respect for sovereign nations and a focus upon the creation of new resources via scientific and technological progress. Where one is premised on a zero-sum game of win-lose behavior (aka: the survival of the fittest), the other is premised upon a non-zero-sum game of win-win cooperation.

When confronted with resource scarcity and population growth, closed system thinkers adopt a Malthusian view that population growth must be culled to adhere to mathematical models of “carrying capacity” in some imagined stated of “natural equilibrium” which said models demand must exist.
...
While Xi supported the WHO, globalization and Paris Climate Accords, his approach to net carbon neutrality by 2060 is hinged not on degrowth, but rather advanced scientific and technological progress, equal access for development, the defense of sovereign nation states as outlined in the UN Charter. On these points Xi stated:

“China will invest more in science and technology, developing and enabling systems for innovation as a priority, turn breakthroughs in science and technology into actual productivity at a faster pace, and enhance intellectual property protection, all for the purpose of fostering innovation-driven, higher-quality growth. Scientific and technological advances should benefit all humanity, rather than be used to curb and contain other countries’ development.”

Putin’s Speech

After paying lip service to Schwab and applauding the extension of the START treaty with the USA, Putin pointed out in his January 27 Davos speech that the overarching dynamic under Biden continues to be degenerative, driving us towards world war with stark parallels to the 1930s. Here Putin warned that experts “compare the current situation to the 1930s… As you are aware, the inability and unwillingness to find substantive solutions to problems like this in the 20th century led to World War 2 catastrophe. Of course, such a heated global conflict is impossible in principle, I hope. That is what I am pinning my hopes on, because this would be the end of humanity. However as I have said, the situation could take an unexpected and uncontrollable turn – unless we do something to prevent this. There is a chance that we will face a formidable break-down in global development, which will be fraught with a war of all against all and attempts to deal with contradictions through the appointment of internal and external enemies and the destruction of not only traditional values such as the family, which we hold dear in Russia, but fundamental freedoms such as the right of choice and privacy.”

Putin amplified Xi’s earlier remarks, laying out three domains for reform starting with 1) economic development for all, 2) the prevention of the takeover of world policy by big tech giants saying “they are de facto competing with states”, and 3) a reform towards win-win international relations.

While Putin’s entire speech should be studied in depth, the spirit of his message was captured in his clearly hopeful but stark warning that: “we have a shared responsibility to prevent this scenario which looks like a grim dystopia, and to ensure instead that our development takes a different trajectory- positive, harmonious and creative.”

to place Covid positive patients in nursing homes where there were high numbers of deaths. Is there an agenda/agreement to target the elderly? You know that Wall Street does not like giving people money just because. The article I posted yesterday that was about Biden’s hospital rules and how hospitals were told to not treat people 50 and above aggressively allowing large numbers to die. Here’s one book that explains what might have happened in nursing homes everywhere. Before I read this book I saw lots of people alluding to what happened. This confirmed it IMO.

It’s very close to the beginning of the book and it also mentions how Britain changed the way the country’s government worked. Seems it was close to us nullifying the constitution. I was as riveted with the information in it as I am Kennedy’s book. I’ve read 2/3rds of it, but with my memory I can start over and it’ll seem like new. Smile it’s a great side effect. I can watch the same movie over and over and it’s like the first time seeing it.

- the World Economic Forum.

The endgame is about population or people control through passports and social credit scores.

This possibility has more legs it seems to me. The reach of digital tracking and personal digital id and information has reached many more countries world-wide. Again broadly speaking.

There are several factors that are absolutely necessary to gain control of a population - extreme wealth accumulation and an overwhelming desire for control. Time and again throughout recorded history, we've seen that these two factors comprise two sides of the same coin to the point of causing wars. Political systems as modus operandi has always been a cover story used by these hidden hands behind the 'throne'.

I will suggest that the locus of worldwide global control lies in the World Economic Forum which has been quite outspoken in what their desires are and how they laid bare their plans to achieve it. The WEF has managed to place their “Young Global Leaders” into positions of power in countries throughout the world. One has only to look at the policies these leaders have enacted in their respective countries to deal with the current Plandemic.

The WEF and the Pandemic

How is the Davos World Economic Forum involved in the coronavirus pandemic?

The Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) is a premier forum for governments, global corporations and international entrepreneurs. Founded in 1971 by engineer and economist Klaus Schwab, the WEF describes its mission as “shaping global, regional and industry agendas” and “improving the state of the world”. According to its website, “moral and intellectual integrity is at the heart of everything it does.”

The WEF has been involved in the coronavirus pandemic in several ways.

First, the WEF was, together with the Gates Foundation, a sponsor of the prescient “Event 201” coronavirus pandemic simulation exercise, held in New York City on October 18, 2019 – the same day as the opening of the Wuhan Military World Games, seen by some as “ground zero” of the global pandemic. China itself has argued that US military athletes may have brought the virus to Wuhan.

Second, the WEF has been a leading proponent of digital biometric identity systems, arguing that they will make societies and industries more efficient, more productive and more secure. In July 2019, the WEF started a project to “shape the future of travel with biometric-enabled digital traveler identity management”. In addition, the WEF collaborates with the ID2020 alliance, which is funded by the Gates and Rockefeller foundations and runs a program to “provide digital ID with vaccines”. In particular, ID2020 sees the vaccination of children as “an entry point for digital identity.”

Third, WEF founder Klaus Schwab is the author of the book COVID-19: The Great Reset, published in July 2020, which argues that the coronavirus pandemic can and should be used for an “economic, societal, geopolitical, environmental and technological reset”, including, in particular, advancing global governance, accelerating digital transformation, and tackling climate change.

Finally, the WEF has been running, since 1993, a program called “Global Leaders for Tomorrow”, rebranded, in 2004, as “Young Global Leaders”. This program aims at identifying, selecting and promoting future global leaders in both business and politics. Indeed, quite a few “Young Global Leaders” have later managed to become Presidents, Prime Ministers, or CEOs (see below).

First w/hydrochloroquine then w/Ivermectin will Colchicine be next on the list that says "you can't have that treatment"?

Everything that tptb have done to change the narrative to "must have vaccine" and 800,000 deaths later connects the dots enough for me to say that a WEF-"Great Reset" is in play and has been since the inception of COVID

https://www.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/ancient-greek-drug-could-save-...

Prof. Ami Schattner researched and analyzed all patients treated in controlled trials of this ancient drug for the past 20 years. He found that among its uses and potential uses, colchicine also appears effective in treating COVID-19.
So far, four controlled studies of around 6,000 coronavirus patients have been published on the effect of colchicine, Schattner said, each showing a “significant improvement in severe coronavirus indices and, most importantly, there was a decrease in mortality by about 50% compared to those who were not treated with colchicine.”
The drug is cheap, a small half-milligram dose is needed per day, and it has already been proven safe to use, he said, making colchicine “an important discovery that could significantly contribute to improving the morbidity and mortality of many patients, if confirmed in further studies.”

Weren't the Milner Group in the UK planning to kiss and make up with the Germans and the German officers who were planning to kill Hitler and create a "united Europe" and cut the US down to size? Goal was to restore our old nemesis, the British Empire. Bone up on Cecil Rhodes dream of a secret society and the creation of a world government based on money. The Rhodes secret society seems to have been very influential. Rhodes was tremendously rich when he died. They were an organization of oligarchic Britons and dominions people. The Spiders Wer of finance was related to this. See the short film on spiders web and the talks by Nicholas Shaxson about money laundering hot money and the web of tax evasion in former British territories . , who viewed democracy as anarchy and wanted to create a global oligarchy. Many organizations of today who are antidemocracy such as the WEF, and others had a publication, called "The Round Table" and many others including the 1939 Round Table (British imperialism ) the Council on Foreign relations (which is not a government entuity although it tries to appear to be one, so does WEF. Beware. They are an antidemocracy ligarchs group. and the Rhodes entities also trace back to this Round Table group.. Professor Carroll Quigley who was lauded by former Rhodes sccholar Bill Clinton wrote a book on their influence . "The Anglo-American Establishment" Churchill was deeply involved in the 1943 man made Bengal Famine, which killed more than 3 million, it seems likely. https://www.twn.my/title2/health.info/2021/hi210702.htm

An "invasive plant" used extensively in China to treat covid is a conspicuously absent treatment that could quite possibly do a geat deal for covid sufferers when extracted from the roots of a plant that grows everywhere in England. ts also one of the most promising natural substances and it blocks replication of the SARS-COV-2 virus It is also almost certain to be helpful against coagulopathies- coagulation disorders. More so than these drugs which have lots of side effects. RESV is a nutrient, a superfood.

Active against a great many health conditions..

The idea of using it as an anti-coronavirus drug was originated by a Ms. Jennifer Zhang of Little Rock High School.

The idea seems very likely to have merit. Resveratrol is extracted from the roots of Polygonum cuspidatum, or "Japanese knotweed".

(Japanese knotweed) early on in the plandemic - haven't re-ordered, but it was fine and is, indeed, an excellent source of reseveratrol - not that you should give up red wine... Young shoots of the plant can be harvested in late spring and have both culinary and medicinal possibilities (although I'd be selective about where you gathered them).

Advice, including recipes from a Vermont homesteader here:

Free masks, in-home kits and more. More??? What is more.

There is increasing hysteria in NYC. ALL of the newspaers and politicians are singing the same song.

Either they are wrong and this thing---omg-icron will fizzle out.

Or we have been underestimating the danger.

Now, if de Blasio were to offer free Ivermectin, THAT would be great news!

There was no reason why government didn’t send everyone an N95 mask as soon as they were available if there was ever a shortage of them. It might have cut down a huge number of infections, but better late than never I guess. So NY has money to send everyone a test but the feds don’t? Maybe they could take a few billion out the f’cking military budget and get it done! It’s beyond irresponsible that our government didn’t do Jack to help us. But then Fauci’s still blocking ivermectin.

I keep thinking back to Trump pushing hcq and saying that it’s just the flu and it was a hoax. He knew closing down the country would hurt the economy which would have hurt his presidency. Did he tell us the truth at the beginning or was it another ploy for democrats to take advantage of and ramp up the hysteria? I never know how big a patsy he was.

Naked capitalism has an essay on Colorado being overwhelmed and hospitals overflowing with unvaxxed Covid cases. What isn’t mentioned is how many hospitals were closed or how many nurses were laid off or quit because of nurse to patients ratio. Hospitals use less nurses than required for patient levels and it puts pressure on the nurses remaining and so they are leaving in droves to either work in clinics or just leave the profession. I remember how my hospital was famous for sending nurses home when it wasn’t busy. Who can afford that?

https://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2021/12/colorado-hospitals-in-critical-c...

There’s another one on not enough nurses entering schools but again it’s because hospitals have been bought by hedge funds and squeeze as much money out as they can. Comments in both essays are interesting.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

from 6 months to 3 months and don't respect OR accept natural immunity. If you are past that date you're treated as unvaxxed. TPTB have gone off the deep end.

We also have a shortage of ICU and other nursing staff due to them quitting rather the taking the jab. The place where I get my every 3rd month blood work and other tests have a big help wanted sign. The nurses that took my blood the last 2 times were young Filipino girls who could barely speak English. They were trainees because a regular nurse was in the room with them checking. So I said you must just be learning to take blood samples. The regular nurse answered in the affirmative.

Let’s just skip Fauci and go right to the source for how many jabs we will need. And they have changed their time table for kids. Instead of spacing them out like they did with adults it’s 2 weeks in between jabs for them. Who set that time table?

Medical staff are quitting across the country and I’m betting that it’s part of the plan to bring foreign workers to replace them and drive down wages? Weird how hospitals can pay traveling nurses obscene money, but can’t give their signed nurses a decent salary. Why would any nurse stay working at a place that is paying someone else 3 times their salary? The NY governor declared an emergency so she could do just that. But as yves says in the article why would they want to leave their families and homes to come work in a 3rd world country worse than theirs?

It’s hard not to think that there is something nefarious going on with firing so many essential workers in medical, police, fire, military and so on that we the public rely on. Then there’s congress helping to transfer gobs of money upwards while wealth inequality is getting worse across the board. Are they trying to destroy America? How many factories have been closed and jobs sent overseas before Covid and now thousands of people have lost their businesses and now companies are going to roll out robots to take even more jobs. Very hard not to think something bad is happening.

Were it not for my knowledge of the metasequoia's fascinating story I would not have made the connectioin (for myself) between resveratrol and covid. You see, resveratrol is a powerful, multisided antibacterial and antibiotic substance, powerfully antiseptic. In China a tea made from the bark of the 60 million year old plant, which grew throughout the subtropical world of 60 million years ago when the world was much warmer than today. Its the city tree of Wuhan China.

There is an northern southern hemisphere oscillation involving El Nino and La Nina. It is described well here. Here is NOAA's page on it. Mike Davis's book "Late Victorian Holocausts" (Verso Books) of which the PDF linked previously is a chapter, is the best work I have read on it.

Climate change has an influence on ENSO but it is likely not the thing you are looking for.

Itsounded like maybe you were thinking about other things. Maybe you also know something about the push to create a single unified global government in all matters involving money and economic things like jobs, commerce, business. Leaving things like politics, the things that dont involve money or thye new economic property of corporations to policy remaining the same or only getting more profitable for them. Governments agreed to that when they joined the WTO. To a large extent this nullifies voters. See the video at around 5:55

A big change has occurred, in order to create a single common market for goods and labor.

This change goes back to the 1930s. You can read about that in Quinn Slobodian's recent book.(He also speaks abut it in many You Tube videos, podcasts, etc..)
