Home Grown Right-Wing Terrorists

A funny thing happened, the SPLC annual Hate and Extremism publication came in the mail, and here's a photo of the cover:

SPLC_Cover

At first glance I saw the police, geared up for a protest, demonstration, serving a no-knock warrant, or maybe responding to an emergency call that somebody's child was having a breakdown. Another, closer, look and and I realised that it was some RW extremist hate group either practicing, or responding to a demonstration or protest by anybody but like-minded fascist brothers-in-arms.

But hey, I quickly realized that seeing is believing and perception is reality, they are one and the same; our cops are right-wing extremist groups devoted to terrorizing the populace, not really different from the Klan, Nazi's or Proud Boys.

Just thought I'd share.

Proud Boys deliberately dress and act like militarized cops. Is the reverse also true? Maybe we'll be seeing a joint task force soon. They'll call it Operation Hippie Punch.

The FBI has also found the same thing in various police departments. White supremacist groups have also infiltrated police departments.

In a timely new analysis, Michael German, a former FBI special agent who has written extensively on the ways that US law enforcement have failed to respond to far-right domestic terror threats, concludes that US law enforcement officials have been tied to racist militant activities in more than a dozen states since 2000, and hundreds of police officers have been caught posting racist and bigoted social media content.

... psychopaths who form the militarized police in the US are also the same soldiers we deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and the same Special Forces we deployed to 134 additional nations — where they murder civilians, destabilize their elected governments, and bomb the population into dislocated refugees with tormented futures.

The formerly-deployed come back with brain damage and and crippling PTSD. But US Police Departments agreed to employ them in exchange for free military equipment and weapons to use on the local citizens — who are tacitly regarded as "enemy combatants."

These, and the remaining formerly-deployed soldiers who returned to civilian life — all of them are tormented by their brain injuries — which is why they began killing themselves at the rate of twenty per day after the launch of the terrorizing wars for US Empire in the ME. For two decades they've maintained that daily suicide, through 2019 — the horrific things they have done and have seen — burns in their brains. But now, their rate of suicide is soaring higher under the stress of the Pandemic. Unsurprisingly, the police murder rate of American citizens (aka enemy combatants) seems to be soaring, as well.

Military suicides have increased 20 percent this year compared to 2019.
Suicides reportedly increased after the first three months of 2020.

.

• Multiple military officials have spoken out on how COVID-19 takes its toll on military service members.

• Data shows notable increases among active Army and Army Guard members.
.

Sept. 28, 2020 — New data suggests that suicides of military members have jumped by about 20 percent in 2020 as compared to the same time period in 2019. The rise comes as the U.S. struggles to balance the COVID-19 pandemic, civil rights movements and unrest, as well as raging wildfires simultaneously.

CBS News reports that in addition to higher rates of suicide, other incidents of violent behavior have also spiked, with war-zone deployments compounding high levels of stress brought on by broad national unrest. Army and Air Force officials have reportedly said that they believe the pandemic is adding more stress to an already taxed military force.

While institutions did not provide comprehensive 2020 data on mental health struggles and suicide within the military, Army officials have reportedly said that discussions within the Department of Defense indicate there has been up to a 20 percent spike in military suicides this past year.

°°°°

In an interview with The Associated Press, Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy did note that while causation of the increased suicides remains unknown, it does correlate with the onset of the pandemic.

“We cannot say definitively it is because of COVID,” he explained. “But there is a direct correlation from when COVID started, the numbers actually went up.”

A strain on mental health amid the pandemic isn’t unique to military members either; since April, as the pandemic increased in spread and severity, increased calls to suicide crisis hotlines were reported. Data from Google searches also reveals an increase in queries related to panic attacks and anxiety during the pandemic.

Strain related to military-specific issues is also exacerbated by the national disarray for troops. Army leaders have said that the pressure of about 20 years of war and deployments extended due to quarantine requirements take a toll.

.

The formerly deployed psychopaths who slip through the cracks are the deranged patriots who join or lead the militias. The militias are the only war dividend that the American people are ever likely to get out of the 20 years of war crimes they have paid for. It seems that the Pentagon is still unable to account for $21 trillion dollars of the people's money. And the gaslit people are fine with that.

Hippies represent 'communists' to the right wing militias. That's the biggest imaginary boogyman that they have and it scares them to death.

change of leadership, but I'd still trust them more than the NYT. One problem they did have was buying into the Israeli propaganda that criticism of Israel is anti-semitic per se. As to the huge number of organizations they list, that is in part because of the nature of those groups, schisms and fragments abound, and then they all have numerous chapters, some of which might be very small, and many of which overlap and intersect.

of $$ to burn through, if they haven't lost it all to lawsuits. Perhaps they are cleaning up their act slightly now, but they were sitting on sever hundred million dollars as recently as a couple years ago - and spending a huge percentage of their income on yet more fundraising and huge salaries for the top people.

Given their rabid partisanship it's sick that they are rated as a charitable organization.

It is tragic that SPLC has blacklisted PJTN, but it calls them out as guilty of antisemitism, into the light where we can all see that they are the real hate group. No stars for this demonic sham.

The fundraising practices of Southern Poverty Law Center are disrespectful and disingenuous. While I believe in the work they do, I have asked to be removed from their mailing list due to their aggressively rude practices (such as asking me for donations after I just made one). Despite 10 YEARS of asking to be removed from their lists,I am still receiving appeals asking for money. Not newsletters or substantive program pieces; just more requests for money. As a fundraiser myself, I find this to be a completely disrespectful way to handle donors. When someone asks you to take them off your list, you should respect that donor's wishes. Period. For an organization so large, they should be able to handle the small detail of a mailing list update, especially after multiple requests. Just goes to show they don't actually care about their donors. I give my money elsewhere, where the organization actually notices.

If there was such a thing as negative stars, it would be appropriate for this propaganda and pocket lining fraud. The main activity is to raise funds, much of which end up in the pockets of Dees and Cohen. They have struck paydirt with their "Hate Map" and their "Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists" which include many names that are not hate groups or extremists of any kind; they just have views that SPLC doesn't like.

For years, GuideStar could not/ would not rate SPLC as a charity. It is now succumbing to extreme Progressive pressure, much to its shame.

Wow. Turns out this is a huge financial enterprise, with over $300 million in assets. Do they give it away to help those in need? No--they pay huge salaries, have a beautiful building, and engage in lies to get funding. They focus on what they view as right wing hate groups (here's a quote from their website--"Hatewatch is a blog that monitors and exposes the activities of the American radical right") but ignore left wing hate groups such as Jewish Voice for Peace, which is actually a German and non-Jewish funded organization working to destroy Israel, the only safe place in the middle east for members of the LBGTQ community. The road to hell is paved with good intentions--and these are about the best hell pavers. Intentions matter not at all--it is results that matter, and these folks are mostly evil. Hitler thought he was doing good--and these folks do as well. They have enough money to do severe damage to good people--please do not give them more.

Read it for yourself - the FBI , a dysfunctional organization itself, removed the SPLC from their resources because of concerns raised by many Civil Rights groups....not conservatives, or republicans - but this group's own Colleagues. Questions that need to be asked are - show us the list of actual people who were helped with the $15 million operating budget (besides the lawyers on staff) and how much annually does Cohen take home as director?

I have researched this organization and what groups it represents and groups it labels as hate groups . And I must say I have never seen such a hateful, bigoted, and racist organization as this one . The only diversity they are concerned with is color of your skin . And diversity of ideas or opinions is stamped out and labeled hateful if they do not parrot theirs . That this is a tax exempt hate mongering group is a disgrace .

This is actually a ZERO STAR REVIEW - It’s appalling that this outfit claims to be the nation’s self-appointed arbiter of the definition of a “Hate Group”. In other words, if you don’t fit into their agenda on social issues, then you are “hateful”- Nonsense! They use the "hate group" label indiscriminately--groups that simply affirm marriage as one man/one woman--the definition that has been virtually uniform in all of human civilization for thousands of years, are condemned as “hate groups”. This is pure propaganda, and frankly, the definition of hate itself. If you don’t agree with them, you’re hateful. The fact that Guidestar posts “warnings” at the top of certain Christian pages as if the SPLG is a neutral and impartial arbiter that judges others based on a generally agreed upon standard of what "hate" actually is, and approved by the vast majority of Americans is pure drivel. The fact that Guidestar promotes this biased assessment says more about their own bias than it does about the alt-left anti-Christian SPLC. Upon reviewing their 990s that are publicly filed, and with only a handful of employees, the SPLC is sitting on hundreds of millions of dollars in assets. Hardly the definition of a “non-profit”. They should be disqualified from even being rated by Guidestar.

"terrorizing the populace" are, what?

And, yes, there are issues with militarized "warrior cop" power tripping assholes.

But your alternatives are, what?

Defund local cops replace them with unarmed social workers? 5G-enabled total AI-controlled surveillance system complete with robo-cops from Boston Dynamics? Bye-bye Officer Friendly.

The sound of gunfire has become so familiar across North Minneapolis that Cathy Spann worries she has grown numb to it. Day and night, the bullets zip through the predominantly Black neighborhood, hitting cars, homes and people. Spann, a longtime community activist, cannot recall another time when things were this bad, not even when the city was branded “Murderapolis,” during a 1990s spike in violence, reports the Washington Post. The police are not as much a presence as they used to be, Spann said, noting that sometimes when neighbors call 911, officers are delayed in responding or don’t come at all. Nearly six months after George Floyd’s killing, Minneapolis is grappling with an unprecedented wave of violence and droves of officer departures that the Minneapolis Police Department warns could leave it unable to respond to emergencies.

Homicides in Minneapolis are up 50 percent, with nearly 75 people killed this year. More than 500 people have been shot, the highest number in more than a decade and twice as many as in 2019. There have been more than 4,600 violent crimes — including hundreds of carjackings and robberies — a five-year high. Minneapolis police have faced a surge of officer departures after Floyd’s killing. In June, a city council majority promised to defund the department and replace it with a new agency focused on a mix of public safety and violence prevention, a move that could go before voters in 2021. Police Chief Medaria Arradondo said over 100 officers have left the force — more than double the number in a typical year. Arradondo and Mayor Jacob Frey have started to develop “contingency plans” that would include “triaging calls” for help.

...the kind of people who volunteer to go to foreign countries and murder people who never attacked the United States.

These people are brain damaged. They blow their brains out 20 times a day because they are so fucked up. They do not need to be policing US civilians. They've made the world ugly enough with their foreign slaughters.

If someone has been deployed in the murderous US wars — they should be barred from working for the police. They make everyone around them sick in the head.

That's certainly a start. Police can hire educated people with good mental hygiene, instead.

If's bad enough that the Congress in DC is filled with war criminals who are loyal to the war mongers of Israel and the war profiteers, first and foremost, over the American people. Let's keep the mentally broken psychopaths that they trained out of the nation's domestic police forces.
